We stayed 3 nights in this hotel and were super satisfied. The staff and owners were super friendly and helpful, excellent food, large room with underfloor heating, comfortable bed. We chose this hotel for the super 25 meter outdoor swimming pool which I took advantage of a lot. to take beautiful swims. We were lucky that it also snowed and so the view was super. The sauna in the woods we tried with Dominik's sessions was also excellent and exclusive. With him we also took part in a 3-hour snowshoe excursion with a stop in a mountain hut 25 minutes away by transfer from the hotel. Covered parking is also convenient. The desserts offered in the afternoon from 2.30pm to 4.30pm are delicious. Great experience in this new hotel, located in the Alto Adige valley. Perfectly located to travel between Merano and Bolzano. Perfect and very professional welcome, spacious room. The outdoor pool is very pleasant and perfect temperature for swimming. Perhaps a hammam is missing. This is the kingdom of saunas. The food is absolutely delicious from breakfast to dinner. Unfortunately, my experience at the Hotel Bad Fallenbach fell well short of expectations for a property that looks like a 4-star luxury hotel.
The rooms are extremely basic, comparable to those of a simple mountain B&B, without the quality and attention to detail you would expect from a hotel of this category. The mattress was uncomfortable, without a topper, and in the room there was no choice of pillows: only soft pillows are available, absolutely unsuitable for those who prefer a more rigid support.
Another downside was the presence of a kettle and a coffee machine, but without any coffee, tea or herbal tea sets. Lower category hotels also offer these services as standard.
Breakfast was another disappointment: very limited and unbalanced towards dessert. The only savoury option consisted of salmon and eggs, making it impossible to satisfy those, like me, who cannot eat sweets and are vegetarian/vegan.

We were already in the Fallenbach for a few days during the Whitsun holidays, now it was even nicer during the summer holidays;) We had a wonderful room with direct access to the pool, the children had their own small sleeping area, so we all had the big sofa to ourselves. At the reception Max made our holiday life easier (whether with tour suggestions or very practical advice on bus travel), in service Alex is the sunshine. The kitchen has inspired us every day, the Amalfi lemon will stay in our memory for a long time! Super positive note for the food! Rich breakfast buffet with fresh products made by them. Dinners, I'm not saying starry but really high level!!!! Knowing it was our anniversary they made us find a bottle in the room and set the dinner table with a red rose and confetti! A little unsolicited cuddle truly appreciated!
