We had good cheap lunch at the Bridge Cafe. They do have some more special dishes like pasta pizza and yak cheese dumplings which are a bit pricey but if you keep in mind that you are in the middle of nowhere (and a snickers even is 10 RMB) it is still a very good price. The normal chinese food... More

This is ne of the best places I have ever stayed. The room are on a cliff edge looking down TLG. At night the sound of waterfalls fills the air (there are several nearby) and it is mesmerising to sit in the room and watch the clouds in the gorge. Much better than Tinas or Seans The bed is a... Cute little place on the main road at the gorge near Tina's. The view here is absolutely stunning. Both from the room and from the restaurant. They have plenty of rooms and you can choose between rooms with and without the view. We had a 80 RMB twin room ensuite. The mattresses were a bit hard and there was no... More

Probably the restaurant/guesthouse with the best view along the entire route. Closely followed by Sean's (Merely 20minutes further along the road!). Bridge has good food, all organic and well-made. Better than Sean's for that, but very pricey. A 1.5L bottle of water-10Y, a *cup* of black coffee-25Y, and a single pancake-30Y. I just had the water and pancake whilst waiting... More

We visited the Bridge Cafe next to the bridge and on the Gorge side of the road. The menu was limited and high compared to other places. We ordered the goat cheese salad, naxi pizza, pumpkin soup with naxi bread. The goat cheese salad was good and had tomatoes and cheese for 38Y. The pizza was 30 and was sautéed... More

We read the positive reviews on Tripadvisor and decided to book a room. However it was almost impossible to find any website or contact number using the English language search engine (Tripadvisor, Google, Agoda, Booking.com, Hostelworld.com, etc...). Fortunately we can read and speak Chinese so we tried the Chinese search engine Baidu.com where we found a contact number and also... More

In an effort to escape the craziness of tourists being bussed in to Tina's, we discovered the Bridge Cafe. Awesome location. We plugged in our iPod to the speakers and were joined by only a turkey as we devoured Yunan cheese dumplings with honey-delish! Very sweet hosts and great food. Find the Bridge cafe!

We only stopped here for lunch, but would definitely recommend this over tina's for food and relaxing. They have a beautiful cafe built over a ledge overlooking some spectacular cliffs. We had several different kinds of naxi breads, and all were absolutely excellent. Perfect, fluffy naxi flatbreads. Mainly I would recommend them for their accommodating, sweet service. I wish we... Bridge cafe/guesthouse is located at the end of Tiger Leaping Gorge walking route, 2 km before Sean and Woody's guesthouses and just over the bridge after Tina's. We were the first visitors of the new double rooms (80 yuan). The view from these room is magnificent. The food the lady serves is very tasty, and all organic. If you want... More

Just over the bridge from tinas gh, this fab little find is signed with blue spray paint on their white stone walls. This place offers the quaintness and view that Tinas seriously fails to deliver at a fraction of the cost (70 rmb per room). Amazing view right down the gorge, great contemporary minimal design for a chinese guesthouse. Super... More
