We arrived in ShangriLa and were surprised that the first few guesthouses we looked at were charging prices greatly in excess of what was listed in the guide books and tripadvisor. Reading from the reviews of the Olive as the Noah Inn, it seemed like a pretty good place to stay. The price was abit higher than other hotels, but it seemed like a good idea. Boy were we wrong. A unexpected treat in a good location. Great choice of food, good beer, Internet access and very comfortable surroundings. We stayed at the Noah Inn for 3 nights at the end of July. The room, a double room ensuite, was nice but unfortunately slightly damp. We stayed here for 6 nights and loved it. Noah's Inn (now called The Olive), is really centrally located in the Old Town, yet far enough away from the two squares that noise from the nightly dancing was not a problem.
