Hotel itself in summary was okay with nice garden, decent enough rooms and nice staff, however... Food - Breakfasts were the same every day with little to no variation, no fruits apart from melons and coffee was very meh. There was no real option of sweet breakfast apart from greece yoghurt and musli. Lunch and dinner had the same issue with 3 to 4 types of food being available every day - gets old after 3 days tops. Basically no fish apart from frozen codfish and all you could have with the food was either spaghetti or chicken. I don't want to have any spaghetti or chicken for a while now. That being said, food was good enough, but it was literally the same every day. Service - Staff was very nice in general, they all had very good english and were helpful when we needed their help or advice. However there was literally no functioning WiFi, not even in the lounge, let alone in the rooms, where we had trouble even with cellular reception... and we did not receive ANY drinkable water past the one bottle we had prepared in the room on first day. We literally had to go to local supermarket to buy a pack of water. IN ALL INCLUSIVE. Room - Rooms were cleaned every day, but all that meant was taking out trash and cleaning up the floor. But we broke glass on second day and we found some splitters even on our last day under the bed, so there's that... at night we had troubles sleeping due to mosquitos and if we closed the window to get rid of them, the AC was only partially functional, so sleeping wasn't exactly amazing. For nights we generally recommend buying a repelent. Bar - An absolute joke. They offered local variations of white rum, brown rum, ouzo and vodka. For coctails all they used was local cheapest fake soda substitutes from plastic bottles and they didn't even offer regular juice. Not even tonic or gin. You couldn't even pay up extra for something better - they just had no options. However white wine was drinkable. Beach - Distance to beach is about 150m of walking. Very nice long beach where you did not feel crammed at all, you could move a bit from the main spot where they had daily paid sunshades, and you would have peace. Water was very clear and you had very gradual water level increase so it's also very nice for children. Water was warm even in mid-June. They had bar at the beach that was pretty much the same story as the one in the hotel itself. Evening activites - We went there mid-June and there was literally nothing. A guy at the reception told us on the first day that there will be a tavern working for dinner and evening activities, but it seems even he had wrong infromation... General notes - They had very nice two pools that were well maintained, but there were many loud Polish tourists, so keep that in mind if that's something that could bother you. In summary, this hotel is very nice, it has beautiful garden, nice staff, but there are several major details, that add up to considerably worse experience than it could have been, they waste their potential quite a lot. Pity.

Great holidays for family and friends. The hotel is located 50 m from the beach, it has beautiful garden with two pools. One pool is great for jumping and swimming and the smaller is great for little childern. The building is old greek design but all is clean and functional. The food is simple but tasty. The stuff is amazing and very helpful. Thank you to Natalia , Chrissy, Viktor, Klevis and Lasaros for making out holidays speacial.

Where do i start? I booked a family holiday to this hellhole around a year ago. This was one of the worst experiences of my life. First of all we booked to go all inclusive which was non existent at this hotel. We were literally starved to death. They claimed to have cocktails, ice cream and a selection of food for breakfast lunch and dinner to which there was so little food that we ate out of the hotel every single night. The bedrooms were not cleaned and towels were not changed. I spilt coffee on my sheets and to my disgust the next morning the same sheet was put back on my bed with the stain folded under the mattress and the towels were also not changed. For the whole 10 days we were at this hotel our room was cleaned twice. there was a beach bar claiming to serve cold beverages and food but all they had was warm homemade wine in plastic cups (very small cups) also speaking with other guests everybody had the same issue with the food and the hotel. Where the hotel was situated we were last off the coach from the airport. Upon arrival we were greeted by a large group of holidaymakers who were complaining to the staff about the rooms not being ready. We also had to wait over 3 hrs to be serviced. The rooms were not at a good standard at all. The only good thing going about is that you are right on the beach. If i could give 0 circles i would. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!

The Hotel is fine, and we had a great 12 days in a Junior Suite. in August. Apart from the mass of mozzies at sunset, there were several plusses to the place. It's in a quiet area, 3 minutes walk from the beach, and 3 minutes the other way to the main street of the village where you will find everything you could need. There are 2 very nice pools, and Breakfast had a reasonable variety of hot and cold choices. Provided you pick B & B - which you MUST do - there are 2 great tavernas down on the beach, that do breakfast lunch and supper, till midnight, with a great free Greek Dancing Night on Tuesdays. Everyone is rude about eating lunch or supper in the Hotel, and we never tried it; the choice looked very thin, but we very happily ate out each meal, where there was the 2 choices on the beach, and the vast choice in the Village. The worst thing was the "beach", which is hardly the Hotel's fault. It is an endless sea of stones, hell to walk on, and not remotely sandy. This bugged us for the first day or so, but then we learned that just a 5-minute drive away, or a short ride in the bus in the village, is the wonderful 100% sandy beach of Roda, and we went there every day. A great resort, with free sunbeds for anyone who uses the wall-to-wall tavernas there. So the Hotel is just fine, cool clean and quiet, has great pools, close to 2 great tavernas and the village of Acharavi. Use it as a base to spend days at Roda, or a further 15 mins by road to Sidari., which is also a great place, with its small Water Park. Happy to communicate about it , and offer tips:- davidcardigan1@gmail.com

Something very suspicios happened here, at this hotel. Last week, we, a group of 15 friends were accommodated here. We arrived in Greece in 8th August. The covid tests were done on the 6th August and all 15 us had negative results. At The Greek Border just some of us were randomly retested and told that if there appears a positive result we will be contacted within 24 hours. After 5 days of staying, a random Phonecall was received by a friend of The group and was announced that she was positive. She was told that Someone will come over The night and she will be retested. Around 1 AM the receptionist called and Said that 6 persons have to come in The lobby. Someone who pretended to be a doctor and who did not present his name or his identity, tested us. At 3 AM The same night The girl received another phonecall and Said that she is positive and The rest of The people tested, negative. The other morning, another “doctor” came over The hotel and everything that concerned him was The fact that he wanted to pay 230€ per test all of The 6 people who were tested. No one asked about The “positive” girl about how she’s feeling, no one guided her about what rules should she follow, nothing. All from The hotel staff Walked around her relaxed, without a mask, as if nothing had happend. After a couple of hours of Waiting for someone authorised to show up, or for some doctors, we wanted to call The police and The hotel manager did not let us. All he told us to do was leave. He forced us to leave The hotel without any clear Information. We had 3 more nights to stay. They kept 90€ of each person. I think the hotel were hand in hand with The “doctors” and wanted to steal our money. Shame!

I booked half board. I couldn’t have a drink with my meal, there was no waiting staff to.take my order and charge it to my room. I was ignored at the bar. The food....why should it be crap because we paid in advance. Awful, thoughtless menu.....we went out to eat. The breakfast and dinner food was the same each day. Lukewarm.. The superior room.....awful. Shower just trickled out. There are no curtains or shutters on the windows.....so the room gets very hot, and you wake up early. The pool....dirty. Green. It was cleaned for hours .....during the day when you would want to use it. It was closed some times because of problems. No apology from hotel. They don’t sweep the pool area, or clean tables. They are geared up for Eastern European’s . Waste of my money.

We booked as a party of 10 people, 4 adults and 6 children (2 adults and 3 children per room). Upon our arrival (after midnight) we were welcomed by the friendly reception staff who showed us to our rooms with no hassle whilst helping with our luggage and tired kids. Our rooms were lovely, very clean, secure and safe for the young children. In our room, the thoughtful hotel staff provided a cold platter of food which was very much appreciated as we were all starving after a days travelling. Most days we spent around their nice big pool area. There was plenty of sun loungers provided so no mad rush to get some secured and there was a good pool bar. The staff in the pool bar were excellent and always friendly and happy to have a chat etc. which was nice. There is also a beach bar along the seafront which is less than a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The food was great and always something there for everyone to enjoy, even the fussy children always found something they liked. There was ice cream at lunch and dinner which also went down well with the kids. Once a week they had a Greek night and put out tables and chairs around the pool area. The entertainment and BBQ on these nights were very good. I must say that the animation team were excellent. Throughout the day Pati ran a kids club where the younger children would go and do some painting, balloon making, face painting, games etc. which they loved. Around the pool James and Wajdi always did their best to get people involved in volley ball, water polo, darts and some other fun games including bingo. They were all superb with the kids which really allowed the adults to unwind and chill around the pool. Of an evening, Pati held a kids disco in the theatre and got all the kids up dancing and having fun before their evening show. Wajdi presented some of the shows and made them a good laugh and done really well to be inclusive of all nationalities during the music quiz nights. James and Pati’s fire show (Fekir Show) was absolutely excellent. James also completed some stunts such as laying on nails and walking across broken glass which the kids loved (so did the adults 😁). All in all we had a fantastic holiday to Acharavi and we would all like to thank everyone at the Ionian Princess hotel for giving us some great memories. James, Pati, Wajdi, Vlad, Anastasia and Christos in particular, thank you so much for such a great time! We’ll see you again soon 👍🏼
