Stayed for 5 nights in June 2022 First having read some negative reviews I think it is important to stress this is not a full service hotel. Our experience was great. First the staff, all were extremely hospitable, efficient and friendly and very focused on helping guests have an enjoyable holiday. And by all I mean all, not only the direct contact staff but also housekeeping and maintenance. In my view the very best hotel experience comes from having the very best staff. The rooms are simple, minimalist but comfortable. The facilities very well maintained especially the pool area. Breakfast was a very tasty with a nice local emphasis. The location is great with close access to the main road in Acharavi which has a selection of restaurants and just a further short walk to the beach and waterside restaurants. 2 points to note. Shuttle bus from the airport doesn’t go all the way to the hotel but rather drops off at the main road leaving a short walk. Understandable given the narrow road leading to the hotel. Secondly this is an adults only hotel. Highly recommended.

Holiday of a Lifetime. From the moment we stepped foot into Mr & Mrs Whites, our luxurious week began. Cool reception, the breakfast area, pool, bar area and gardens all were 5 star. We were checked in by Spiros who showed us around and then helped carry our bag up to the room. The room was a large double room with a large balcony overlooking the gardens with a sea view. Tea and coffee making facility, a full size fridge and free to use safe all were added bonus. Pool towels available from reception, lots of sunbeds, beanbags and umbrella available around the large pool. Nikki and Eleana looked after the bar area all day and evening and introduced us to the Joy Life Experience which I totally recommend at 5 euros per person a day. Our room was serviced every day with clean towels and bedding. Breakfast was served between 8.30 and 11.30 which again makes you feel relaxed from the start of the day. The whole hotel is spotless and the staff make your stay even more memorable. Another special mention to Nikki and Eleana for making my husbands birthday so special on the last night of our holiday.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly, welcoming and professional and the breakfast had English breakfast options, bread, fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese etc but also fresh Corfiot sweet and savoury pastries which were delicious. The pool area is very relaxing and I enjoyed doing yoga in the garden early in the morning, just remember your mozzie spray if you want to do this! The rooms were cleaned daily, had air con, a fridge and most (if not all) had a balcony. They also have a great option of a ‘joy life experience’ meaning you pay 5 euros per person per day for unlimited soft and alcoholic drinks, including snacks at about 4pm! The whole place is painted white, creating a relaxing, cool and luxurious feel. Would deffo go back. Short walk to the town and beach. Thanks for a great holiday!

After an early start we arrived at the hotel around 2pm on Monday, receptionist was pleasant and we were shown to room 311. 5 minutes after arrival we had a knock on the door and were told that house keeping had reported that the air-conditioning was broken. We agreed to leave the room and sit by the pool until an engineer could fix it. Around 5pm we went back to the room and the aircon was still faulty blowing warm and smelt similar to turning on a hairdryer, we reported it again and we were told the engineer would not come back out this evening. By 8pm it had stopped completely so we could not sleep in the 36° room. Next day we reported the situation again and we were moved to a new room at 2pm. The new room (301) also had faulty aircon, slightly blowing cool air with no control. We reported this several times and it was finally fixed on the Friday. Saturday early hours we received two phone calls to our room (2am & 2.40am) from reception which was showing on the display, with no answer, I unplugged the phone. We questioned if there was a problem the next morning and we were met with surprise and the receptionist stated that the reception is not manned at night so no call could have come from there and there are no ghosts. We now started to feel uncomfortable around the receptionist and she was definitely starting to show her unprofessional approach towards us. It was around this time that we learnt from a Scottish couple that they had been moved from room 311 for a faulty aircon 4 days before it was allocated to us.
I had not seen the swimming pool get cleaned at any time during our stay and there are brown marks at the bottom of the pool, the grout is brown in the deeper part of the pool. There are floor areas around the sun loungers that are broken and some with loose planks that are hazardous to stand on. I am a bit surprised that no staff are on hand during the night and I was not aware of any emergency procedure. No staff are at the hotel to meet new guests arriving from the airport and you will need to find your own room with the key left in the door
On the plus side, the bar staff are very nice, rooms are clean spacious and fresh towels are placed in the room daily. I would say the Mr and Mrs White is a good product that is under managed and under invested in. Guests should not feel uncomfortable at any time and this retreat does not meet luxury as a standard.

We spent 2 weeks at Mr and Mrs white Corfu in May this year, we wanted a relaxed stay which is exactly what we got. The team are beyond helpful and everyone does all they can to make your stay as chilled as you want it to be. Breakfast has the added bonus of being seved until 11.30 and the pool bar is available during the day. We celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary while in Corfu and we were treated to bubbly and and a platter of fruits around the pool...such a lovely touch. We genuinely could have stayed longer and were sad to leave. This review would happily have been a 5 star had it not been for a couple of things, I agree with a previous reviewer that the sunbeds are looking tired already and we stayed a couple of weeks after the opening for the season. The wooden boards the beds were on are also already showing signs of wear. We stayed in one of the honeymoon suites, the bathrooms of which don't really produce the luxury you would want if it really was your honeymoon! Did it spoil the holiday, absolutely not, but as you pay extra for these rooms you would hope you had the best. I would happily recommend Mr and Mrs White to friends, but perhaps explore the other rooms available.

We stayed at Mr & Mrs White for three nights, and we had a truly amazing experience! The hotel is located in Arachavi, 5 minutes away from the main road and 15 minutes away from the beach. There’s plenty of restaurants nearby and a motorbike rental shop if you wish to explore the island on your way. Our room was spacious and modern, with a lovely balcony. Breakfast is served by the pool, and there’s a variety of options available (fruits, juices, eggs, pastries and cereals). The swimming pool area is very nice with several sunbeds around. I recommend this hotel if you’re looking for some days of pure relaxation with your other half and you want to avoid the city.

Firstly, hotel was in a great location! Not so much if you are after a beach holiday (beaches nearby are narrow and full of pebbles) but there are plenty of shops/supermarkets and restaurants close by. The pool and sunbeds are lovely and it is very relaxing if that is the sort of escape you are after (be warned there is a farm next door and animal noises throughout the day which do get frustrating, and there are a LOT of wasps and bees). Staff are also very friendly and welcoming.
One of the main reasons i couldn't score this higher is because the pool bar is shut and doesn't open until 1 pm. Not only that but you are not allowed to bring anything to the pool area from outside. So if you are after a beer or glass of wine or coke you just have to wait until 1pm. They said the reason is due to low staff, however i would allow people to bring in drinks before this time if they wish to do so. I felt really ill one morning and my partner had to speak to the manager to get me a coke. Music is not played either up until this time so isn't the typical pool vibes you might expect as it's always nice to hear some soft chill out music. Having said that another plus is free bottles of water throughout your stay! Breakfast is lovely but a bit limited and the same every morning (very weak coffee and bacon could benefit from being cooked a bit more- personal preference!) Bedroom was nice and beds are so comfy! However bathroom very outdated and not that of a four star. At the end of our stay they let us keep our room for a bit longer which was very lovely and much appreciated! Overall happy with our short stay here

Just returned from a 2-week stay at this resort. Was a little disappointed. Despite it being listed as a luxury resort, unfortunately, it's not luxury. It's quite basic. The bedrooms are all in outside buildings with a lot of steps and a steep walk up to some rooms. Some rooms have a private pool & of the ones we saw, they weren't too clean! The room itself was nice & cleaned well every day. There is a fridge in the wardrobe, which was good for keeping drinks chilled. The A/C worked well. The toilet/shower room was awful. The shower flooded after use & if you turned the shower to a higher pressure, the water started coming through into the bedroom. The shower area was not very clean either, with grubby tiles and a lot of limescale visible on the shower attachments. The old taps are also still in place, not sure why, as they are just hanging loosely in the wall of the shower. The pool itself looks lovely but the pool area is not. There are no sunbeds, only bean bags & day beds/mattresses (but not many of them) which are placed on the grass, which is not ideal as there are a lot of ants. Very disappointing for somewhere that is advertised as a relaxing couples retreat. We did not stay by the pool at all, opting instead to walk to the beach every day - 15/20 min walk. We went to White Beach Bar & they have lovely comfy sunbeds which you can use at no extra charge - you just have to buy food/drink there, which is fine. We had lunch there every day and it was so nice and very reasonable. Each evening we walked down to the village and there are plenty of restaurants there and very reasonably priced. Really liked the Pump House and Odysseus. No evening meals at Mr. & Mrs. White. Breakfast was ok. Small self service buffet area with seating outside on the decking. Not a very big selection and if you're looking for a cooked breakfast, you will be disappointed. Mostly continental style breakfast. A few nights stay here might be ok for some, but 2 weeks was way too long and we regretted not booking somewhere else for our 2nd week. Unfortunately, Mr. & Mrs. White's was not for us so we would not recommend.

What a beautiful and peaceful resort. Its simple pure white buildings and creative decor with fabulous lighting really does make you feel in a 5* luxury hotel.
Its a 5 minute walk into Arachavi and 15minutes from the beach.
Breakfast served on the terrace every morning was a big variety. Something for all tastes. We didnt really need to eat again till teatime.
The rooms - we had the basic one had ample space and ours had abalcony facing north west so we had great evening sun. Room 102 to 108 all face this direction.
Have to say a special thank you to maria who was there on hand at the pool bar area from 12 to 8 every day she was lovely always "on it" and the a shining example of what customer service should be. We hope she continues her hospitality tourist career she would make great trainer for others.
Cleanliness 100% could not fault it. Plenty of clean towels beds n pool towels every day.
Great parking if you are taking a car. We did and the bays from archaravi around the north east of the island gave us a different beach every day. Some secluded and some with facilities. You dont need a car there is everything in acharavi included buses around the island as cheap as 3 euros.
Plenty of great restaurants our fav was woodys by the sea and the pumphouse. We also liked the Taverna closest to the hotel.
Voyage prive bookings have all inclusive beer local wine and soft drinks so this was a nice bonus. And a small snack from 4 to 6.
WIFI was great inthe room, terraces and pool area.
Our only gripe was the designer bean bag beds were difficult to get out of we are 57 and 64 and not great for reading on as there was no real head rest. The chair bean bags were better but then not good if you wanted to lay out on your tummy. Im hoping this is something taken into account next season.
Thank you so much for a beautiful holiday. Everything was great we will certainly look at the chain of hotels for the future.

This hotel has great potential which the owners seem reluctant to work with. The staff are friendly and helpful but are being let down by the poor facilities. The grounds are well kept and the pool is excellent except for the grubby and uncomfortable bean bags around it. Apparently the owners are reluctant to change the concept which was architect planned. We suggest the architect and owners try seeing the state these bean bags are in at end of season and how difficult it is to relax on them considering many guests when we were there we well over 50 not young teenagers. They are losing a large potential income from people staying by pool all day and buying drinks, lunch etc. The rooms need a spruce up and individual bedside lights would be a bonus along with incorporating the handbasin area into the bathroom. It is touted as a luxury hotel for a couples retreat but beg to differ , it is simply a basic 3 star at best. Despite these moans we had a really good holiday with some excellent meals out. Best recommendation for beach is The White Restaurant which has best beds and great host in Spiros. Best restaurants we found were Odysseus and Theritas. Pump house is always busy but we did not find it always served best food. Loved the town but sadly will not be returning to this hotel unless great improvements made quickly.
