Thank you very much for the warm welcome, the best emotions and a magical atmosphere! The hotel is simple, family-run, but we have not rested so well for a long time. And the best dinners we have eaten in Crete have been at this hotel too! We miss you already!

This lovely family hotel was a great choice, and a very fair offer for a solo traveller. First of all, I felt as I was at a vacation with my closest family. The room was cosy, redecorated in white and blue style and cleened every day. The pool with a garden was soo sweet, lemon tree, it was so great to have breakfast there. Above it there is a nice big terrace to sit in the evening. Also, mr Marinos and his fife and son were a great hosts. Breakfast was fine, and I ate at a taverna in hotel wcih runs a brother of mr Marinos, and everything was delicious and reasonably priced in a real traditional Greek enviroment - blue tableclothes, traditional music. One evening mr Marinos took me to a boat trip around bay to show me some small beaches and it was very interesting, I even tried to ride a boat and that was exciting. Ammoudara gas a great 6 km sandy beach (5 min walk from a hotel) , lots of space, warm water, shops - wery good one with a bakery in the next building) , restaurants nearby, but never overcrowded, bus stop in front of the hotel, direct line to airport, city center, Knossos, travel agencies with excursions... I had a great holliday and I was so sorry to leave, but there will be a time to visit my dear friends in this sweet place.…

we came back with pleasure to hotel Roxani in Crete! We found the same pleasant atmosphere The owners don't know what to do so you feel like home ! The rooms are remodeled the furniture is new including the bathrooms! The people are. Wery nice service is exceptional. We will be back with pleasure next year!

Definitely I would not recommend this hotel. Real name should be motel instead hotel. We bought 7 nights, but after 2 nights we decided to left this creepy hotel. Rooms are vrey small and the doors are not closing at all and you can hear all your neighbors, in special during night. Bathroom is very small and the water from shower will go onto room floor. Breakfast is a joke, and you do not have from where to choose (e.g. milk, cereal, 2x type of bread, butter, gem, 'omlette', something which is named coffee, old croissants). to be honest, considering the price I would pass over all this inconveniences, but the cherry from the cake is the fact that YOU WILL NOT HAVE WARM/HOT water at all!!! In the 1st night we had warm water,but after that, only cold water we could find in the shower. I almost forgot it, air conditioners are too loud, and trust me when they are louder, because I am fan of loud cars. …

The hotel is very nice for the price we paid. The personal was so friendly with us and they offered us informations when we asked for (like the number of bus we need to take etc.). Also, the room was cleaned everyday and the breakfast was delicious although there were the same products everyday. The hotel is placed very close to the beach, 5 minutes from it. Our room was so big, with a double bed and a small one near it. The single disandvantages of the hotel are that the bathroom is so small, the water is not hot after the 21:00 and there is a strange smell if you let open the window during the day. For a cheap vacation we recommend this hotel!

Beautiful hotel, beautiful family running this hotel. You feel home!. Very clean, every day cleaning the rooms, changing the towels, or toilet paper.Every evening, Mr. Marinos is preparing dinner with either grills made on the stone grill near the pool, or cooked dishes on the stone stove, also near the pool. Besides, you can choose between a very good soup, and/or vegetables cooked or fresh, and many others.All at a very low cost. Breakfast is very good (included in the price). Indeed rich for Greece (with cereals, honey,milk, coffee, omelettes, or boiled eggs, Feta cheese, super olives, super yogurt etc). Worth to try this hotel.

Roxani hotel might not be the fanciest of hotels, but it exceeds the three star rate. Clean, cozy rooms, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast (though monotonous), affordable wine and beer, and splendid view from the balconies, plus, excellent pool and terrace. I just recommend going in the shower in the evening or early in the morning, as the heating is on solar batteries and water tank might not hold enough water for everyone, but in the hot summer days it’s no problem anyway, cause you get refreshed. I also recommend getting friends with staff cause they are really friendly and funny and helpful people. Extremely sweet folks. All and all, fantastic experience. Thank you all.

Not recomandable this hotel because the bathroom is too small when you make shower after 21:00 don't have hot water.The Bathroom was many ants on the floor.The wall was dirty by blood ,the bed was dirty.The wifi not function in the bedroom.The brakefast was bad.coffe,orangesoft=0.The staff is helpfull and friendly.The mornings always noisy.

The most kind and helpful host se ever met. They helped uș with any problem we had, let us check in early and leave later(at 14 o’clock we had the transfer to the Airport), in conclusion they were very nice in all respects. Very good food - every enening i recieved fresh food cooked by the owner of the restaurant.

We spent one week at Hotel Roxani. Our surprise was quite big when we saw our room - extremely small, and the bathroom is horrible! The shower curtains are too short, so when you shower literally the whole bathroom is flooded. Luckily you won't shower too much, since during our stay I only got warm water twice. The sink is so small that it is difficult to brush your teeth there. And the toilet...you flush it down by pressing a button installed on the small water container above the wc. If you are lucky, it works. As we were travelling with a 6 month old baby, it was extremely unpleasant and very difficult to stay here. Washing the baby in the shower under cold water... the constant noise every night... Air conditioning costs extra, and without it you can not survive. Even when it is not so hot outside, you can not sleep with the windows/balcony door open, because it is extremely noisy. Right next to the hotel there is a supermarket and it's deposit, and a few tables functioning as a bar. Always noisy. The only good thing about this hotel was the staff: extremely friendly and welcoming, they really tried their best and they saved our holiday from becoming a complete disaster. Dinner is delicious home cooked food, worth trying. In conclusion: we have stayed in better hostels and campings than this "hotel". By no means would I come here again, despite the friendliness of the whole staff and the nice dinners. It is not suitable for families with children.…
