Lovely Hotel. We had a flight cancelled on us last minute late at night. Anna at reception was so helpful in letting us check in at a late time, saving us from having to sleep on the airport floor. She gave us water on arrival and offered us any refreshments we wanted and even a later checkout for the morning as we were a late arrival. The rooms are huge and have lovely bath and shower. You can literally walk out of your back door and you’re on the beach! After our sleep we had a brunch at the hotel Snack Bar. It had amazing views and was the nicest food and service we have had since arriving in split last week. Would definitely recommend. You won’t be disappointed :)

Our second visit and from the moment of our arrival we felt special. Rooms are spotless clean and the view of the beach and sea directly from our room is breathtaking. Staff are so polite and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and their ‘classic toast’ (cheese and ham toastie) in English was scrumptious 😋. Rooftop pool is just fantastic where you can relax on sun beds. Quiet hotel and only 20 mins from centre of Split so have best of both worlds. We will certainly return next year. Well done and thank you to all the staff at the hotel.

I feel disappointed and cheated after my stay. Months earlier I paid for a double room with terrace. A week before the hotel sent me a welcome email. When I arrived I was checked into a smaller room without terrace. When I mentioned this to reception, I was told that terrace rooms had faulty air conditioning (for over a month they admitted) but I was given a room of equivalent value. What the hotel has actually done is inflate the price of the smaller rooms without terrace and working air conditioning, presumably so they can pretend they are of the same value as the bigger rooms with terrace. They have also rebranded rooms with broken air conditioning as ‘sustainable’ rooms. If it looks like a scam and smells like a scam…could it possibly be a scam?

Like many other are reporting, big issues at this hotel. We arrived today having had a booking for two rooms with a balcony and sea view only to be told they had no rooms available due to the broken air conditioning. It’s an ongoing issue and management have made the decision not to inform guests in advance. It is purely pot luck if you arrive and will be effected, but there are two floors out of action. We were left to find two rooms in split in the height of summer for our family to stay in. You can imagine the stress this caused coming straight from the airport. The is appalling and no way to treat your customers. I strongly advise you to cancel your booking and find other accommodation so you don’t go through the hassle and stress of being left without a room. We finally found somewhere but sadly missing the sea view and not in such a nice location. The hotel staff offered their apologies but no help or compensation from the management. This place doesn’t deserve your custom.

The staff are dealing the best they can with a bad situation, which is about the kindest thing we can say. We walked out before staying the first night of a weeklong holiday, asking for (and receiving - thank you) a full refund. This is not something I've ever done at another hotel. The main deal-breaker: the central air conditioning is broken on at least two floors and won't be fixed this season. While we wouldn't have stayed under any circumstances, the "compensation" of a few €10 freebies was nowhere near sufficient to compensate for a supposedly 4* hotel lacking such a basic amenity in the height of summer. Overall, the place is definitely a bit rough around the edges (numerous things were broken or not-as-advertised during our hour considering whether to stay). They seem to have widespread maintenance issues. Ultimately, it just doesn't feel anywhere near as nice as it must to earn the high price it charges. Great beachfront location with bars/restaurants nearby and good staff but, unless you are okay sleeping in some pretty potent heat, avoid until management gets its upkeep act together - and rebook elsewhere if you can. Pay more heed to the recent reviews on here than the older ones.

We had a nice stay at the hotel and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was with a terrace with access to the beach witch was vey convenient. We didn’t eat in the hotel restaurant but had some great food at the Havana Beach restaurant. On arrival we noticed that we didn’t have any chairs on our terrace and the reception told us that they would fixe that but that never happened. The hotel offers to pick you up at the airport for 60 EUR but it’s a regular taxi that comes. Use Uber instead it cost about half the price 😀

Ok location right on the beach (stones, bathing-shoes recommended). We originally had a room on the -2 floor but the aircon. was broken so we had 2 terrible nights at 30 degrees +. Last night we were promised a new room higher up, but when we were doing the move we suddenly ended up on the lowest level. Aircon was a notch better but still far from good enough and warmest season was yet to come ! Breakfast was good and staff very good. We were offered a 15% discount which has not materialised yet. Too bad that it is impossible to make aircon work in 2023 !

Lowest level rooms are terrible: full concrete terrace becomes an open air oven when the sun goes west. If only the room air conditioning could cope with this! Don’t even think about sitting outside until after 7pm. Good bed and nice bathroom with a choice of bath or shower. Beach: 15€/person/day for hotel guests wow. Swimming pool: don’t trust the pictures: in a full concrete rooftop (not the slightest plant!!!) the pool rests on the (busy) roadside with a view on passing traffic. Parking: you’d better drive a Porsche or a Tesla which got special reserved places in the shade (in the afternoon).

A big disappointment!!! This hotel may have been good for previous customers but this was awful for us. We paid over 1.5k for a weeks stay -please see attached photos. The pool and bar were closed, our air con didn’t work and the WiFi was awful. We were told the air con needed time to work and after 12 hours it was still reading at 27 degrees! They eventually moved us to a different room. We will be taking this further with Agent who we booked through. I would like to mention that all the staff except the manageress were helpful and polite.

Whilst we had quite a good week at the hotel there were a number of disappointments. The L'Aroma restaurant was closed which meant that breakfast was served in a room overlooking the car park and food was available from the lobby bar from 3pm. The rooftop terrace and the swimming pool were also closed. Obviously the hotel thought it wasn’t in season and didn’t have a lot of guests, but failed to tell us about these closures before we arrived. In my opinion they should have done and then we could have decided whether to change our booking. It is the same principal as if there is building works going on. We had a number of issues with the Superior Double Room with a sea view and Terrace that we booked which we did take up with the management. However, most of them should not have occurred for example: the patio directly outside our room had not been cleaned, possibly for months as not only was it dirty but the drain was blocked; Curtains were missing some hooks; we couldn’t use our safe upon arrival; a fridge that heated up drinks rather than chill them. Housekeeping was a bit hit and miss – some days the carpets were vacuumed, some days surfaces were cleaned but not every day. All these and other problems, collectively led to our disappointment. On the positive side the hotel is in a good location and the staff were lovely. Special thanks to Stella in the bar and the lady in the breakfast room. I pre booked our taxi to and from the airport as there were 4 of us each with large suitcases. In hindsight should have only booked the airport pick up as we came across plenty of Uber drivers during our stay who were slightly more competitive. We found Uber the best way to get around, especially as it rained most of the time we were there. We used it to get to Split, Klis fortress, the roman ruins in Salona and Trojic. The local village of Strobrec has plenty of restaurants although the menus are pretty similar. We ate in the hotel once and the food was nice but the bill was double what we paid other restaurants and in hindsight couldn’t justify the price. Despite the weather and the problems had we did enjoy our stay.
