Great disappointment with the hotel and our stay. We stayed at this hotel for two nights of a total of 9 on the entire trip to Croatia. the worst hotel of all of our stay. Smaller room than advertised. Badly clean. They didn't even make the beds! They only put sheets folded and not ironed. Very poor breakfast. Despite being on the beachfront, I don't recommend it.

I think, it is not 4-star hotel, just a apartment with sea front. Rooms are very small. Breakfest is so weak. There is only some corn-flakes, bread, honey and cheese. I can't understand those who reviewed as "wonderful stay". Never mind these reviews and don't stay at this hotel.

We stayed at Hotel Gala recently. It is located in the vicinity of Split (10 minute drive from the port). The hotel is quite small, rooms are modern and nicely decorated. Our room was in the attic and although we had two balconies with sea view the room itself was really small. The other drawback was that we didn't have queen size bed but two smaller beds pushed up against each other. We woke up with terrible back pain in the morning. I saw that rooms that are not located in the attic are much more spacious and they do have normal queen size bed. Bathrooms are large but the shower was leaky.

The hotel has its private beach which is ok but nothing really special. We liked the restaurant where breakfast is served (it's by the beach). Buffet-style breakfast (continental and mediterranean) was satisfactory, nice pancakes and great variety of fruits.

Hotel staff is nice and friendly and prices are reasonable (around 120 EUR for double room).

Spend almost a week at this absolutely lovely and newly renovated hotel. Its exceptionally friendly staff, amazing food and cozy atmosphere made this holiday a dream one. The hotel is located on the beach with sun beds for rent. The only drawback was the (by then) the not very well functioning gym and the glass door (!) to the toilet. It is not possible to walk to Split city center but it is only 15 min by taxi.

This hotel is one of those places you have to pay for everything, deck chair, umbrella...
Modern but very poorly maintained. Scratches on the walls, leaky shower and the list goes on...
Not worth bothering

We arrived by car and struggled to find the reception area for Gala Split. We asked a cleaner who informed us that the main reception is in the San Antonio which is next door. The check in was quick. We were surprised with an upgrade to the San Antonio in their best suite, which had a jacuzzi! It was lovely. Sea views are to die for. The beach is pebbles so slightly uncomfortable but private and quiet. The restaurant is reasonably priced and very good quality! Overall a VERY lovely hotel.

We Stayed in gala hotel split for One week. We booked a classic room with balcony, sofa/sofabed and a doublebed. If you look the Hotels own pics about this roomtype it seems to be spacious and cute bc theres kind a Wall between the sofa/tv area and bed.
Well What we get was a tiny room with one wooden chair and tiny
Balcony oh and the bed. No sofa, no hanging area. Since we were staying 7 days and the room really wasnt what u could expect i felt really bad the whole week. First when i asked about the room that isit really a classic room? The reception was like yea madam, all our luxury rooms Are in different building. Like that was what i asked. I asked if we could change our room but it wasnt posssible. I did not ask for a upgrade or anything like that, just to get the room i booked and payed for. Almost 900 euros and what i get was just a bad feeling. And that is a big amount. I compared many Hotels before i booked this one and well i think we could have get a better one with lower cost since this room was not what to expect. So the customer Service aint so good. And they really should change some of the classic Rooms to Standard bc theres a really big difference. Our room neighbours had a spacious classic room with a big balcony, that what all the Rooms should be if they are going to sell those with same price. there is also really strong smell on the corridor. All n all the rooms a still quite tidy, Cleaning ladies visited every day and they were friendly. If the reception staff would have Fixed the room problem i might visit again but they didnt even try so i really cant recommend this place.

Hotel is located right next to the beach.
And next to a little foodMarket and a bus stop. So it is really easy to visit in split or omis. Also the shopping centres mall of split and One are easy to find. Just take a buss like 10mins and little walking.
Hotels restaurant is fine and not expensive. Breakfast is ok but not like
"oh wow!" Same staff everyday.

For Dinner i recommend restaurant jure wich is located near this Hotel on the beach. And ask for a table right next to the ocean when the sun is going Down!

We missed some activitites during the week. Like renting water scooters or something like that. Receptionist did not know where we could rent those or find some other water activities to do. Hotel has a inside pool and its located in Hotel San Antonios top floor. Try it for once and look from the up when the sun goes Down.

We stayed at Gala Split Hotel 3 nights and it was horrible. The rooms are very dirty and the carpets in the room smells very bad. Air condition was broken it didn't not stop automatically. Hair drier blowed out dust when we use. It is not a 4 star hotel it is just an apartment room. Don't stay at this hotel!!

rooms were modern but a bit small. good value for the price. beautiful view of the adriatic from the lounge. the restaurant here left something to be desired. We hung out on the beach for a day and it was nice and relaxing. Not bad if you can get a spot with not too many children. Not far from Riva so we were able to go back and forth from there. All in all a good stay.

We had a great stay here, the rooms where nice and clean, service was great and you are right on the Adriatic. There was convenient parking on site and with just a 5 minute drive from the Riva, the location was great.
