Laurie River Lodge is a full service American Plan fly-in fishing Lodge located in northern Manitoba, Canada. The main lodge and 6 modern cabins provide a home base for up to 32 fishermen. Outpost camps are also avialable. Transportatin from Winnipeg, Manitoba is included with each package. Incredible fishing for trophy Northern Pike, Walleye & Lake Trout. Discounts for children.
Love this place. Erin and Brent are the best hosts. 4 course dinners, flyouts to remote lakes where you catch huge walleye and pike, what's not to love. Call today, you can't go wrong! What really makes a play special is this staff, they are amazing. I also love flying in the 1950s era beaver float plane.

Three friends and I just returned from four days of fishing in Northern Manitoba. This year we fished at the Laurie River Lodge out of Lynn Lake, Manitoba. We flew from San Diego, California to Winnipeg and spent the night there. The next morning we took a 96 minute private charter flight to Lynn Lake where we then boarded a float-plane for a 20 minute flight to the Lodge. Brent and Erin Flect are the consummate hosts; the lodging, service and food was outstanding. Fishing was excellent and the shore lunches, prepared by Cree Indian guides who have been there for twenty plus years, were some of the best we have had in the ten years we have been fishing in Northern Manitoba. If you want a first class fishing trip to Northern Manitoba this is the place to visit.

I know there are a number of fishing camps in northern Manitoba and western Ontario. I cannot imagine that any could be better than this one. The travel logistics worked perfectly, the cabins were immaculate, the service and food were incredible, and of course the fishing was spectacular. Get ready to practice not only your casting but also your catching. In four days starting July 6 we caught hundreds of fish, including many large ones. Rory and Rusty were great guides, and Brent was the ultimate host. I understand why most of the people we met in camp were repeaters, some for decades. Thank you Brent!

My husband and I have been here several times and are currently on our 5th day of an 8 day visit. This is an excellent place to come to get lots of top notch fishing for Walleye, Pike and Lake Trout. The lodge is on a large lake and there are several fly out lakes. The customer service is great, the meals are excellent, and you can make some new friends. We always look forward to this trip and hope to make many more.

June 2017. My brother and I booked 8 days at the Outcamp at Laurie River Lodge. We were sure we were going to have a great time, but it was even better than we hoped. We booked the Outcamp because we wanted to have the remote, wilderness experience. It was great. It took us a jet, a turboprop and two beavers to get there. On Brent's good advice, we arrived in Winnipeg a day before our trip and hooked up with Terry from Red River Cats (terrybelhumeur@gmail.com). He took for a 4 hour Cat Fish trip with pickup and drop off at our hotel. We slayed the fish! First cast! Then every other cast. These huge fish were fun to catch but we had to call it quits after 2 hours as our shoulders and forearms were aching! Very highly recommended! We were flown into our own private, 15 mile by 30 mile lake, with endless inlets, coves, bays and points. Brent had built the cabin for serious comfort, so if you want to "rough" it, don'd come here. He had it fully stocked with food and drinks we had arranged. It had a generator for electricity, a fridge and freezer, instant hot water with plenty of pressure, a gas cooking stove with oven, and pretty much extra everything. He even had an extra pair of tall rubber, size 12 boots that I used because my boots turned out to be not waterproof at all. There were 4 boats with nice 20 HP motors and plenty of fuel. We fished 10-12 hours a day each day with about 3 days of great weather, 3 days of cold, rainy weather and 2 days of PURE HEAVEN weather. We never fished the same spot twice in our 8 days. Always exploring and finding new places. We caught hundreds of fish. I must admit that fishing is a lot of luck and we didn't have much for catching the big ones. Our biggest was a 39" Northern, but the 5-8 lb Lakers and smaller Pike were plentiful and there was a "secret" lake we portaged to that provided all the easy catching Walleye you could want. We had a Satellite Phone that we used to contact the lodge each night to confirm we were OK, so we weren't entirely out of touch, but it was close enough. We had hoped to see some bears and moose, but had to settle for several close ups with 3 feet tall eagles. Brent's service was perfect and complete and a good value. He put much time and thought into the "manual" on his website with great information about the entire trip. We will be back for more of this someday!…

After six trips to Laurie River Lodge, this place continues to amaze with world-class fishing. The location, guides and accommodations are wonderful. Brent and Erin are wonderful hosts and our guide, Robin, has been on staff for over 30 years and shares his knowledge and fishing expertise with us. The shore lunches are to die for and recommend doing a fly out experience to one of the other area lakes in this beautiful setting. Can't wait to get back next year!

I have had the pleasure to fishing with Brent and Erin at Laurie River Lodge. Absolutely the best experience ever. A real "bucket list" experience. The guides work their tails off to give you a great experience by catching trophy Northern Pike, Lake Trout, and Walleye! Take advantage of the"Fly Outs" to neighboring lakes.

This is the fifth trip for my son and I to Laurie River Lodge and by far our best. We come back because this is a first class lodge run by first class people with a first class staff. We caught 6 trophy fish in 8 days and just missed on a 40 inch pike that was at least as heavy as some of the bigger pike we caught. We caught 200 walleyes in one day, with 2 trophies and an average fish size around 24 inches. The food and accommodations are excellent. My son who is a picky eater just raved over how great the new cook Cam did with everything. The food is always great and one is never hungry. The fishing options are great with over 10 lakes to chose from all with different primary species and characteristics. When not fishing, there is always time for great stories and antidotes regarding the operation of the lodge, past experiences, and fishing information from the owners & staff. Besides the great fishing experience, the chance my son has to interact with the owners, staff, and other guests provides him great lessons on how hard work, character and a sense of humor play into ones success and happiness. It is so great to be able to escape the heat and humidity of the east coast US in August (when the fishing is tough) and go beautiful northern Manitoba and have such a great fishing experience. …
