As we turned off the main road, we were a little concerned as the track lined with junk and rubbish seem to lead to a partly built house that had been then left to decay, eventually we arrived at tall electronic gates, why such high security? However once in, the owner welcomed us although could speak only little English, she... More

We had the quintiple room. It had enough space for all 4 of us. The views are very good from just outside our room although our windows dont have any views. The hostess was very friendly and breakfast was good! We had fresh orange juice one day too! We went there as a base to explore Pompeii, herculaneum and Vesuvius.... More

The best surprise of the trip. Our stops are Calabria, Gargano, Bari, Peninsula Sorrento, Amalfi, Salerno, Paestum, Pompeii, Grotte di Frassati, Benedictine abbey of Umbria, Assisi, Gubbio, Spoleto and two weeks in Dalmatia. Stop in Herculaneum is an amazing, fascinating surprise. First impression: the gathering dusk, under our Gulf of Naples and the city at night. A warm welcome to... More

After missing the turning (my fault for not looking for the sign) we found the Herculaneum well signposted behind secure gates. Luca met us and was lovely. After a brief tour we were left to our own devices. Clean room, lots of clean and comfortable bedding. Was very quiet at night. There are a few restaurants 15 minutes walk away,... More

Our room was separated from the main dining area only by a thin cardboard door. we heard every word of the 2 men playing cards out there. We had no hot or even warm water, the wall to another guest room was so thin that we heard the TV going until very late, I assume the tv screen was bolted... More

Hotel is not far from Vesuvius. There are lots of signs, which can help you find this B&B, because GPS is not really helpful. This B&B is far from the city center, so it's okay for those who travel by car. There is huge private parking. In the evening you can enjoy amazing view of Napoli from the terrace. Sister... More

The view is stunning as the bed and breakfast is situated up the side of Mt. Vesuvius. The breakfast was very good. Sadly, the bathtub had lots of mold and the room was not cleaned at all. There were ants continually roaming around the floor.

I've booked 2 nights, and had one of the best stay of my Europe vacation. Luca and Matteo were accommodating, and attentive to our troublesome requests. Luca was full of passion for tourism, and the dedication i see in him was unique, and indifferent to those i've encountered in other parts of Europe. Luca was able to recommend good restaurants,... If you have your own car and you want to see Vesuvius and the excavations at Herculaneum and Pompeii then this is an ideal place to stay. It is perfectly located to reach all three wonderful attractions easily. Don't expect a "boutique" B & B; it is simple, clean and good value. Our host, Luca, was very helpful and gave... More

“Rooms beside the kitchen is good for those who gets hungry and thirsty at night or odd hours. However, you will hear light activities (people walking, packing table) around 9am onwards. Most occupants that i encountered were not noisy, as they are like us, drowsy from the deep sleep and wakes up around 8 plus, and eating breakfast around 9 plus.”
