Most of the crew members were helpful, courteous, & pleasant. They focus on how to make your trip enjoyable. 2 recommendations: 1) improve wifi connections for guests; 2) provide more concrete information about what to expect in your introduction for guests to consider making reservation.
This is the best hotel in Torres National Park. Best view, best food, best rooms, best excursions. Hands down the best of everything. But with an attitude. Too many time I felt like they were doing us a favor by hosting us. Forget about a special request. You have to order one item from each category of the menu. You must stick to the excursion schedule despite being the only couple on the trip. One of the horse women was gossiping and laughing with a guest couple so loudly it ruined the entire ride for everyone else. Then she started harping on me about mistakes I was making with the horse. I couldn't wait to get back. These guys need an attitude check.
If you feel like the best adventure in the most beautiful place on Earth - Explora Parque Nacional is for you. Nothing is too much trouble - the guides, the staff, the hotel are simply the best. Couldn’t recommend it more.
Every day was so precious and wonderful that we were worried as if we never ever were to repeat such a great experience. Everything was unique and marvellous from the fabulous location through friendly and cordial staff and super food,
The Explora is amazing! Although the trip is quite a long one, it is worth it 100% Once you arrive in Punta Arenas, a private van picks you up and drives you to the hotel. Kareen was there to greet us and give us a run down of what would be available to us during our stay. The first marvel we noticed was how everything blended into the environment. The place has that ecological touch, whether it is the construction, the food, and especially the tour guides. Where to start? The rooms have a fabulous and private view of the gorgeous lake. They are comfortable and the housekeeping staff keeps them impeccable. There are numerous tours throughout the day, and a limited number of guests participate in each one. so, in essence, you could be alone and one-on-one with a tour guide. These guides have all gone through rigorous training, and apart from that, almost all of them have a university degree: geology, biology, law...and their knowledge and curiosity lends to being outstanding professional who are ready to give you a class about everywhere you go. If you are interested in anthropology and history...you must go on these tours. Zaithe is from Arequipa, Peru, and she is incredible. Go on a tour with her. Matías and Sofi as well. I have only good things to say about the entire staff. Reception, restaurant and HK department too. Enrique is the second manager there, and any and every request we had, he listened to and resolved as well as possible. My husband is a vegetarian, and we made a special request for his meals. Breakfast is the best! I hope whoever reads this, has the opportunity to travel and stay at the Explora, and enjoys the magic we did!…
