Unbelievable experience at Explora Patagonia! We thought we were taking a risk going to TDP just after the official season ended, but we were fortunate with great weather and basically had the entire park to ourselves. Explora has EVERYTHING covered... from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, you are in good hands. No doubt the costs are...

This was hands down the best trip I have ever taken. From the hiking to the horseback riding to the accommodations and food, it was all a fantastic experience. Worth every penny. Going in the shoulder season was a great plan for us. We had the Torres Del Paine park to practically to ourselves. The hikes range from 20KM and...

Exceptional experience and I recommend Explora for everyone wanting to get into Torres Del Paine. Beautifully appointed room, stunning food and service from the entire crew. Our guides incredibly knowledgable and also lovely caring people. I left wanting more with precious memories shared with friends and a real desire to return again. Thank you Explora team.

Overall, it was an enjoyable holiday boarding with Explora. Starting from the pick up from Puerto Arena and departing to Calafate after 3 nights ( both inclusive ), everything provided by Explora were excellent. The facilities were modern and convenient. The views from the room were simply gorgeous and stunning . We were lucky as we were rewarded with one...

Our stay at Explora Patagonia was quite a journey. It was beyond my expectations. We loved the view from our room although it was a challenge climbing 32 steps each time we left the room to go to meals or the reception area (we had knee problems prior to our trip and this aggravated the issues). I realize staying on...

I could go on and on about how wonderful the service is at Explora. They truly go above and beyond to make sure that you have the trip of...

Every night, you choose an activity for the next day. including day-trek or more. They also have the concept of travessias where you actually go on a 3/4 day trip in remote location but always with great comfort. This was one of my best hotel experience.

A pretty good all-inclusive vacation. Room's comfortable, clean & quiet. Weak wi-fi in room. Slightly better in common areas. Food & drinks were good. Service was attentive. Spa available, but had to walk outdoor for quite a distance. We're given 2 reusable flask & US$100 laundry voucher per room. First day's guide, Alex, was friendly and helpful. At the end...

Dear traveler, The satisfaction of our travelers is the most important thing for us. Reading your review, we are very concern about the guide's performance in the French Valley. Our guides always have to try to encourage our travelers in different ways respecting the times. I deeply regret that you have felt uncomfortable with the work of our staff. We...

This hotel has one of the best locations in Patagonia- amazing views from restaurant, room and outdoor hot tubs! Food was very good and the daily excursions (hikes, horseback rides, barbecue) were fantastic. Friendly and helpful staff.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our lodge is located right in the heart of the extraordinary Torres del Paine National Park in southern Patagonia. The diverse and untouched landscapes of this area led UNESCO to declare it a biosphere reserve. Our Patagonia hotel lodge opened in 1993 on the banks of the Salto Chico waterfall. It affords an excellent view of the unique Paine Massif and two of the three impressive torres, or towers, which give the park its name. The lodge has 49 rooms and a variety of inviting spaces. Situated on a 3-hectare (7.4-Acre) site, the design borrows certain organic forms from the landscape itself, adapting to it with simple elegance. It was designed to create a dialogue with its environment, putting human beings in touch with the sublimity of their surroundings. For travellers, the lodge provides the welcome surprise of comfort in a remote area. Nonetheless, you are not isolated from nature, but rather placed "within" it. ... more   less
