If you’re considering Tierra Patagonia- BOOK IT! It will be the best adventure of your life!! 5 stars is truly not enough to describe our experience here. Torres del Paine is beyond one of the most magical places on Earth. It’s stunning and Tierra Patagonia’s modern, sleek and inspiring architecture equally matches it. The second we walked through the doors, we knew we were in a special place not to mention their breathtaking view of Paine Massif which can be seen from every window of the hotel including the indoor pool (which was awesome!). Equally as amazing as the location is the Tierra Patagonia team! Before booking, George and the team answered all our questions with detail. We originally were booked a year ago but the pandemic had pushed our travels. George every step of the way kept us up to date on travel restrictions and ensured we had everything we needed to finally make the trip when Chile opened this month. I cannot stress enough how helpful and exceptional George is! Once we arrived, we were greeted by the GM Nicholas who showed us the hotel and our room. He is very kind, caring and checked on us daily. Next we met with Basilio who helped plan our excursions. We booked 7 nights so we had plenty of time for adventures. We let Basilio know what we liked, a couple of our “musts” and he did the rest. He curated a fantastic itinerary and we left feeling we got to see a nice range of the park. His team of guides is the best! Nacho was our guide for majority of the trip. He was so knowledgeable, friendly and fun! He even had hot soup for us when we reached the base of the towers! The food was incredible! It was local cuisine with an upscale flair. We were there for 8 days without any repeat meals. The dining room staff was fantastic and so nice. They always asked about our daily adventures and made sure we had enough to drink and eat. And let me tell you, you will never feeling hungry haha… Almost daily after our excursions, we found ourselves relaxing in the glorious pool overlooking the property and Paine Massif. It was a great way to unwind at the end of the day. One evening I indulged in one of the best deep tissues massages by Carolina. Every single person from the front desk (special shout out to Ruth), the dining/bar team to the wonderful guides genuinely cared about our experience. We have gone on some really epic adventures around the globe and our adventure at Tierra Patagonia easily takes the top spot. Everything was just perfect! I’m not going to lie, I teared a bit when we left. THANK YOU!!

We stayed here as part of a group and had all meals and drinks included. It was a very good hotel with attentive staff. The rooms were quite nice especially given the remote location. The backside of hotel rooms have stunning views of mountains, frontside view the walking path and flat land. All the food and drinks were very good.

Planned this to be the end of our two week Patagonia trip so we could be “indulged” a little bit and we could take some time to just enjoy the hotel ammenities. We were delighted with our room (only wish we had two chairs instead of one). Each of the 40 rooms has a spectacular view of the lake and mountains. The staff were all friendly and the guides knew much more information beyond just the trail points. I was impressed. The pool and spa were a hikers delight! Horseback riding was amazing. We did two full day hikes, 2 half day hikes and 2 half day trips on our own. We left the last half day free to enjoy the pool. Food was amazing.

Absolutely stunning hotel and experience. My husband and I brought our 3 month old son and stayed for four nights. They took such care to make sure we had everything we needed, including our own van and guide for all excursions so we could take extra time with our son when needed. Our son even had tiny slippers and a bathrobe waiting in our room. We lucked out with beautiful weather, and our guides were very informative, friendly and helpful. Views from the room are incredible, and I can’t imagine there is a bad room. Two areas for improvement/suggestions in our opinions... the food was underwhelming for the cost of the hotel. Especially after leaving TP and going to another Tierra property which exceeded our food expectations. We expected to have extremely delicious meals, and while the food wasn’t bad, we expected much better. We also feel that the grey glacier boat fee should just be included in the hotel cost. It was a great experience and tour, with a $100ish upcharge per person. We understand that cost goes directly to the boat company, but since it’s a recommended tour and such a small fee in comparison to what we paid for the hotel, it seems a little tactless to not just assume most guests will do it and include in our rate.

The Tierra Patagonia Hotel is situated in full view of the magnificent Torres del Paine mountains and adjacent to the National Park. Wake up to the stunning view from your hotel room of the sunrise displayed on the mountains. My wife and I spent 3 nights here in February 2020 as part of our tour of Patagonia. Hiking, trekking, and horseback riding are some of the activities provided as part of your package and bring you closer to the beauty of the mountains and waterfalls. Upon arrival you are greeted warmly by a very pleasant cortege of staff, and the guides that lead you on your activities are pleasant, helpful, and informative. The on site spa offers a very good massage at reasonable rates. I highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Torres del Paine.
