Impeccable service, all rooms have great views of the Towers, Manager Nicholas is absolute perfection. The guides (Michelle!) are great and take good care of everyone. They have very clean, luxurious vans to shuttle you to the hikes and they pack food and drink for a snack afterwards. Their wait staff are very quick and professional and fun. The bartenders made good drinks. The spa and yoga teacher were so addictive I had to go every day. It’s fun to watch the animals graze in front of the hotel and there is a nice walk down to the lake. We felt pampered and could not think of one thing they could improve.

Best trip ever!!! This hotel blew me and my husband’s expectations away when we visited for our honeymoon in April. The excursions were wonderful and all of the guides were friendly and kind, especially Javiera who led two of our tours. We did the Laguna Azul, French Valley, Glacier Navigation, and horse back riding. French valley hike had incredible views and was everything my husband and I could have dreamed of from the photos. We also loved the horse back riding. It was perfect for both my husband (a beginner) and I (more experienced) to have fun enjoying the lovely horses and the country side. Having worked in equine tourism before, I had attest that these horses are very well cared for by the gauchos. The food was superb. One of our favorite meals was the lamb ravioli. Excellent service by the waitstaff as well. Such a dreamy hotel and vacation. Perfect honeymoon stay!!

A truly remarkable stay. From the overwater bungalows of Bora Bora to canvas tents in the Serengeti, I’ve been fortunate to stay in some amazing places, but I’ve found a new all-time favorite place in the Tierra Patagonia. Admittedly I was hesitant because of the higher price tag, but it was unquestionably and resoundingly worth it. Well before our stay, Cinthya in guest experiences was happy to answer my numerous questions. Our transfer was on-time picking us up from our hotel in Puerto Natales where we were whisked away in a spotless 15-seat high-ceiling Mercedes Sprinter passenger van and given a snack and drink for the hour ride. These were the same vans used for excursion transport, so you’re always traveling comfortably. Arriving at the Tierra was effortless and efficient. The entire check-in took all of five minutes including a quick overview of the property. Once settled in we met with our excursion coordinator, Kineret, who may be the kindest and most wonderful person on the entire planet. We quickly put together an excursion plan that including everything we wanted to do. I was also very appreciative of how flexible they were when we decided to make some adjustments to our activity plan mid-stay. The excursions were unforgettable, and the guides were all exceptional. We only left a week ago and I already miss my conversations with Jonathan about culture, history, science, music, etc. as we hiked in and around Torres del Paine. We did the French Valley, Hunter’s Trail, and Laguna Azul hikes, and took a trail ride at Estancia Lazo. I’d recommend all of them though I doubt there is a bad choice among all the excursion options. As for the hotel, the rooms are spacious and the view from the big bay window does not disappoint. There are many thoughtful details and a plethora of amenities. Also worth noting that the water pressure was outstanding with endless hot water as a steamy rain shower after a long hike felt amazing. The restaurant/bar was fantastic. Breakfast had a small hot buffet, plenty of pastries and cold items, and had made to order eggs, pancakes and waffles (don’t skip the waffles!). Lunch and dinner both feature a three-course menu with three choices for starters and three mains that changed daily. However, if none of those items sounded appealing they have a fixed alternative menu that is available anytime with some more conventional staples like a burger, chicken sandwich, pasta, and fries. Over the four dinners of our stay, I had duck confit, a beef fillet, lamb chops and a guanaco ravioli. All were delicious. Service was always prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. Interaction with all the staff at Tierra was friendly and organic which really made the stay feel comfortable and welcoming. I’ve stayed plenty of places where it seems like everyone is asking you the same scripted questions. Honestly, I can’t commend the staff and management of the Tierra enough. I’ll end with a few other things that were just really nice touches to the experience. First there is a trail mix bar with ten different items in reception so you can make your own mix to take out on trail or have for a snack. Second, upon arrival you’re given a nice stainless steel insulated water bottle which you can fill from dispensers at the entrance with filtered still or sparkling water. Lastly there’s a nice apparel shop with plenty of options should you find yourself in need of a warmer jacket, hat, gloves, etc. Some of the items even have the Tierra branding added. I picked up a Patagonia Better Sweater Jacket with an embroidered Tierra logo (pretty cool to have a Patagonia bought in Patagonia!). While the Tierra could easily have jacked up the prices, I paid less there than had I bought it from Patagonia on-line. Despite our bucket list of future travel plans, my wife and I have already started discussing when we can make it back to the Tierra.

Pros: - Stunning hotel with panoramic views of the Paine Massif, including views in every room - Excellent service. We loved how each member of staff in the hotel showed their personality - Amazing, well organised excursions. Special thanks to Luis who was with us for each of the 3 we went on! - Food was incredible. Fine dining with a local, home cooked feel. - Efficient transfer to and from the hotel Cons: - Spa was beautiful but quite cold to spend a lot of time in - This is really picking at things, but some decoration in the room could be refreshed, eg our leather headboard was quite worn Bottom line is this is a magical place and we never wanted to leave!

We stayed three nights in this beautiful property and we can only say how wonderful it was. Our flight to Punta Arenas was delayed due to weather conditions and the transportation waited for us 5 hrs until we were able to land, which was so nice, after 32 hours journey door to door. We arrived very late the first night around 12am and nevertheless they left us a light diner and fruits in our room which was so thoughtful. Unfortunately, we were so exhausted that we just took a shower and went to bed straight away, so we didn’t eat it. Breakfast was excellent, drinks were yummy I loved my calafate sour…and dinner, the lunch boxes they prepared for us were yummy. I loved my smoke trout sandwich that I ate at the base of the Torres. the staff was fantastic, so friendly and attentive. The tours and guides were also super friendly and so accommodating. I was surprised that at the end of a hike or tour they always had some snack and drinks in the van for everyone. Like a little picnic. Sebastian, Roberto we did some hikes with them were very fun, respectful, profesional and friendly as well as the drivers. Our private driver Tito to el calafate was very fun. He told me so many stories about the area, the country . He was very informative. ( I’m a native Spanish speaker ) it was nice to have insight view from someone local. He made the ride feel shorter! The hotel itself is magnificent. We have been to many places but this stands out and the setting is extraordinarily. Every single cent was worth it, from the spa, the rooms, the views, the food, the location, the people and I could go on. My trip to TDP was simply unforgettable our only regret is that we should have stayed longer. I only have praise for this place and for the staff. Congrats everyone! Thank you for making our first trip to La Patagonia chilena a memorable experience.

My friend and I had the most fabulous 5-night stay at Tierra Patagonia this February. The hotel itself is beautifully designed to blend into the surrounding landscape, the views from the room were incredible, and what a treat to be able to get a wonderful massage at the spa after a day of hiking. There was a wide varity of excursions (full day, half day) and we took advantage of as many as we could: hikes, horseback riding, boat ride to view glaciers, and of course, the hike up to the Torres del Paine on a perfect blue sky day. But most of all, the warm welcome that we received from all the staff took the experience over the top. Particular thanks to Kineret who designed the perfect program of excursions for us and warmly greeted us every day. All the guides were wonderful, supportive and knowledgeable (Jaime, Rod, Ivan, and in particular Patricio who we requested for all our excursions!). The restaurant staff were always so helpful, especially Daniela and Enrique who remembered our orders and special requests. If you're thinking about it, go, right now. All you have to do is show up and everything else is taken care of. This was a bucket list trip and the Tierra Patagonia team made it a truly unforgettable experience.

We had a gorgeous superior room with amazing views of Torres del Paine. Food and service match the very high price point. Very well located to see several of the most incredible parts of the National Park. Again a very good team run the resort. Would recommend you are clear what excursions you want to do as advice was not as well curated as in Atacama. It was a bit confusing that the excursions were called by different names in the hotel vs the website. Many activities require extensive travel meaning early starts and late finishes. Well worth the effort but does mean the order and priority need thinking through to fit your schedule. Nicholas, the manager, was always very visible around the hotel, always a good sign!

We loved this place so much we came back! We were here in Feb/March 2020 right before the pandemic closed everything. We came for a longer visit in Nov 2023 and we can honestly say that the Lodge and all of the staff were just as amazing as last time (perhaps even a smidge better and that was an extremely high bar to reach already). Honestly, Tierra Patagonia is the bar by which we have measured every other tour, lodge, service experience in our travels around the world. During our gap in visits – Tierra was purchased by Bailey’s which runs most of their lodges in Australia. We were interested in what that would mean for our second experience. We are so happy to report that if anything Bailey’s purchase has made Tierra Patagonia even better! From the moment the driver finds you at the airport (for us in PNT) to the time that they drop you off to return home you are met with superior service, luxurious lodging, amazing activities, and fabulous dining/drinking. SERVICE begins from the top down and Nicholas who is the lodge manager is fantastic. He some how manages to chat or check in with every guest 2x/day! These tiny check-ins, which are a simple opportunity to provide compliments or gentle suggestions (if needed), makes all the difference in providing an extremely luxurious experience. Lead restaurant manager was still there and she continues to provide both a nurturing and supportive environment for waiters and bartenders but also fills in all holes that might emerge to make a seamless dining experience. Housekeepers are always the behind the scenes staff who ensure we always have clean and ample towels, bottled water, etc. This might have been one of the few occasions when I felt like they were not as amazing as last time when dust bunnies in room corners were often missed over days. I might of also missed the old days when turn down service included a historical fact about the area and pillow chocolate, but maybe my waistline will appreciate the change. LODGE is gorgeous and in my opinion situated in the best place to capture the views and majesty of Torres del Paine than any other lodge in or near the Park. No other lodge is as integrated into the landscape so seamlessly all while not sacrificing modern and luxurious features. ACTIVITIES are one of the most important elements of your stay here. Kinnet who is the activities director now (still there from 2020) is the very core of the activity program. She and her assistants do everything in their power to craft your experience in the Park to be amazing. This might include “practice” hikes to make sure you can really make the ones that are on your bucket list safely, effectively, and most importantly with a positive memory. Sometimes as guests we might get fixated on the Instagram photo rather than the journey there and her team wants to make sure these are achievable goals. Most activities are centered on hiking (lots of distance and elevation), but there are also boat cruises to Grey glacier, e-bike rides, and horseback rides (three estancias to choose from). We were given an amazing opportunity to see similar sights but through different routes/hikes. Our guide through most of our trip was Diego and he was perfect. His hiking tempo, knowledge of the park (flora, fauna, geology) and fun personality was amazing. On days between major hikes we took advantage of opportunities to find Pumas and ride horses. We were lucky to find Pumas on two separate days as well as horseback all 3 Estancias. Beautiful experiences! We did not e-bike but only because we do it all the time at home. If it is not something you have tried put it on your list because once tried you will be addicted (bonus – your views are unparalleled in Patagonia). DINING is something that Tierra really places a great deal of energy. Breakfast is an enormous buffet with the option to order hot items delivered to your table. Lunch if you are at the lodge (between a morning and afternoon activity) is served and a 3 course menu for the day (with options in each course) is provided. If hiking all day – activity coordinators have you design your customized wrap/baguette/bread sandwich. Of course no packed lunch is complete without chips, the famous Tierra Patagonia home made granola bars (got the recipe in 2020 and it is a staple in our household), and 3 types of Chilean candy bars. Do NOT forget to bag some nuts, seeds, and dried fruits from the 10-12 option trailmix cart near the entry door before every hike (new in 2023 and a fabulous addition because you can eat it while hiking rather than stop for a formal snack). Dinner is also served most days from a similar multi course, multi-option menu. Tierra instituted a new dinner offering that is supposed to be 2x/week. Each night is a buffet (theme of either Chilean or Gaucho) with main served to the table. We were there for 7 nights and experienced the buffet 3x’s. While they were very nice experiences, after a long day of activities/hiking, I ALWAYS look forward to sitting and ordering off the menu. Of course, if nothing appeals on the daily menu you can always select off the “Everyday” menu. This menu is unique to all the luxury lodges we have stayed around the globe and find it to be a perfect addition to a luxury dining experience. I would be remiss if I did not give a shout out to the bartenders who crafted unique cocktails from their extensive liquor library or poured a fine Chilean wine or local beer.

From the minute we were picked up at our previous destination to leaving 4 days later I could not fault a thing. The hotel is in a fabulous situation with stunning views from every bedroom. Throughout the stay the food was sublime and they specifically catered for my daughters dairy intolerance. Our drinks and food was included within our package and could not be faulted . For us however two things stood out as exceptional. Firstly all of the staff, from waiters, guides , reception staff , everyone made as feel so welcome . They knew our names and personally greeted us all the time. It was lovely to regularly talk to the manager Nicholas . The service was impeccable. Secondly the daily hikes/trips. The team arranging these are fantastic and take the time to understand what you want to do. The guides were brilliant and every excursion we did we loved. And we saw a PUMA ! We were so sad to leave as it felt as if we had been cocooned in a very special place. If you go to the Torres Del Paines you must stay here, we wish we had stayed more than 3 nights as we did not really have time to enjoy the glorious spa .
