We enjoyed two days here and had a nice experience. There is a lovely outdoor deck and when the wind wasn't blowing 100mph it was nice to sit in the sun amidst gorgeous scenery. The refugio was clean with dorm styled bunk beds. We found the food to be good considering how remote the location is. Staff were very accommodating...

We stayed one night in the cabins during our W Trek. The service and food were both very good. When we came back from supper they had even lit the fireplace in our cabin, it was very nice. The cabins have sky lights so we feel asleep gazing at the stars and shadow of the peaks. The showers were a...

We stayed here for a few days in the cabins as a break during our time in Torres del Paine. I note the following: - Food and service. Disorganised and disappointing, even running out of staples such as milk. At both breakfast and dinner service, people constantly had to keep asking for basics like butter, milk, jam and bread. The...

This place was way overpriced, 6000 pesos and the toilets didnt work, staff were extremely rude and the whole place was disappointing. When we payed the camping staff they just took the money, wouldn't give us a receipt and didn't ask us to register (which I believe is a safety requirement in TdP). This is not very reassuring given that...

The personal in this refuge were much nicer than in the other one of the same company (refugio central). Still, quality/price ratio is very low. We slept in a dome. One of the beds just got soaked because of the rain, but nobody cared...I have the feeling the personal does not care about the clients, because, they have nowhere else...

When we reserved this lodging thru their website a few months ago all of the indoor, cabin and refugio, beds were taken so we reserved two of their tents for the four of us directly thru their website. When we got their we asked if they had any beds available, since the wind was howling and we didn't want to...

Excellent refuge! Beautiful common area with big windows and a view to the moutains and lake, friendly staff with a lot of "buena onda", clean dorms with big lockers and ok bathrooms. You take your shoes off before entering the building so it remains clean. You really feel at home at Refugio Los Cuernos! I loved this place.

This is a refugio that almost offers upscale hostel quality despite the remoteness of its location. The food is generous and of far above average quality, the staff tries everything to please the guests, the showers and bathrooms are very basic but clean, the location is unique and awesome.

Spent 1 night in Domo #2 in early January. The Domo is super comfortable, the bed was nice with good linen and big pillow. Domo #2 is a little tucked away -- we had a few tents pitched on either side. Warm at night. And the refugio in general was the best one we stayed at: good vibe, happy hikers,...

We stopped here on Christmas Eve as part of a NatGeo adventure. This was a huge improvement over the previous nights accommodation, the Refugio Paine Grande. The food was reasonably good and our guide brought some wine to help celebrate the holiday. It is likely the best accommodation in the area; choose the cabins not the tents.
