Very nice place to stay. Extremely clean and quite cosy. Nice common room with possibility to cook. We had a private double room. Only negative point : you can hear everything from the outside noise to the neighbour room.

We reached this hotel earlier than 4pm therefore we couldn't check in however there is paper notice that we can put our luggage in store room. The location is merely 3 minutes walk from Aso Station. Lawson convenient store is nearby. There is public hotspring nearby too namely "Yumenoyu". The hostel offered us discounted price to use the facility. Facilities...

We stayed here as there is very few choice of hotel near Aso station, about 3 min walk. You have to take off your shoes in the first floor and put into the cupboard and that smell really bad. The hostel is really clean especially bathroom. We have a single room with shared bathroom. There is also shared kitchen. There...

My husband and I stayed two nights in this really charming hostel. It is very well designed and decorated, with all the amenities you may need. It is very clean, cosy and comfy, the free wifi works perfectly, and it is very well located: only three-minute walk from the train station, Lawson just across the road, a onsen and many...

I used this guest house for all 2 nights during my trip to Aso area. I was traveling alone so I used woman-only bedrooms, which was very comfortable and feel safe. It was neatly cleaned for every corner of this whole guest house and had a service ticket for the Sen-to nearby which I really liked it a lot. Also...

I have stayed in a few backpackers and this has to be one of the most modern and clean places. We are not backpackers anymore, just looking for a decent priced double room and this place turned out to be perfect. The double room and it was very comfortable, and felt more like staying in a home than a hotel!

Aso Backpackers is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed. The owners are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the hostel is wonderful. The common area is very spacious and well decorated. We cooked dinner with our room mates and held a small party by the stove. Travellers could also refresh themselves after their journeys. The view of...

Stayed here for two nights, lucky to have our own car to do some sightseeingin the greater area as the hiking trails are closed due to vulcanic activity. Lovely bright place with a spacious and comfortable living room and huge kitchen. All is very clean. Enough toilets and showers upstairs, however, showering is quite a challenge as you have to...
