We had 4 nights here while visiting. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Most spoke English well and we were able to communicate without problems. Our son speaks Lao so we had extra help when needed. We had local friends who took us to the sights in the area. Our room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was clean...

My partner and I only spent one night here but we were absolutely thrilled with our room, we paid a little extra but it was well worth it especially for a short stay. The room was very spacious, very well layed out, had a great coffee machine and a small balcony that was great for people watching. Downstairs, there is...

Pakse is a city where you should spend very little time, other than the big Buddha and a temple, there isn't much to do. Unfortunately given flight schedules, many who go on a cruise on the Mekong or trekking in the Bolaven plateau, you will likely have to spend one or two nights in Pakse. The residence Sisouk is a...

This is a lovely French guesthouse. It's interior is well maintained and the little Indo-Chinese touches are very sweet. My room was on the fourth floor. It's a very ancient slow elevator ride so took the stairs and got some exercise. The room itself was big, bathroom was clean. However there was an enduring smell, the kind you get when...

I needed a good hotel to relax and sort out my stuff in between trips and I found it. I had a standard room with a double bed. It is very clean and the interior is pretty. It has an elevator but I ended up taking the stairs since it's really slow. The staff is very friendly, I got an...

Sisouk Hotel is located in the perfect location where you can just walk to Champasak Plaza within 5 mn. Using bicycle to do a city tour, I was riding from Sisouk hotel up to street along Mekong river bank. The old temple, Wat Luang, is also near Sisouk hotel that you can just walk for 5 mn to visit the...

We stayed for two nights in this hotel with a nice colonial character. Nice and clean rooms. Our room was rather small. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and supportive. My husband got very ill after first night and the owner really took care for him. The team cooked a special meal and helped us during the doctor's visit....

The room was fine and a nice balcony from the room on the 4th floor, but the air con in the room did not work very well - it was very hot outside. No coffee faculties in the room and I had to ask for a hair dryer. The breakfast the next morning was pleasantly good

Only stayed one night on my way to Champusak. The room was lovely with a nice balcony overlooking the river. Staff were helpful and advised me on where to get the local bus to Champusak in the morning. Had evening meal in restaurant and it was pretty reasonable. Breakfast was good.
