I can only say this is a very very old hotel.. You can see the wiring loosen everywhere.. Smell odour, see broke here and there.. Wifi slow.. The only seeking point is located in central of Batu Pahat town, which near to bus interchange, central government centres.

We took the 7th floor newly renovated triple sharing room, and the room size was good. The furniture looks OK new, and tho we found the mini fridge missing, a quick call to the reception solved this and the maintenance man came by and installed one for us.. the hotel looks old (think was built in the 70s or earlier)... Stay 1 night for business. Superb location and superb food near by (wantan noodle, cendol, claypot chickeb rice, fried yam ball, great kopi/nan yang coffee). Hotel counter staff (Chinese uncle) was friendly and familiar enough to provide direction to good food spot. Room was clean and big. Only 1 thing not good is that this is an old hotel so... More

We stayed for 1 night in Sep 2014 (Executive Deluxe room on eighth floor).. Our room’s facing main road and we could see old shophouses, buildings.. Opposite the hotel, there’re rows of stalls, restaurants, shops.. We walked quite a distance from the hotel towards the Batu Pahat riverside to have our dinner as there’s a chinese seafood restaurant which served... More

Stay for 2 nights. A very nice hotel. Visited Batu Pahat for the first time and saw this hotel online. The lobby was nice, the room was clean and tidy. And the staffs were quite friendly.Although the breakfast was simple, but with the price around RM100, what can you expect more from that.

Back to Batu Pahat to visit relatives, decided to try Garden Hotel. A bit worry at first as the previous reviews are not that good, but recommended by relatives. Surprisingly the room is amazing, is newly renovated, and the entire ambience in the room is just perfect. Have a comfortable stay and I would definitely come back again

At first the hotel look class from outside, but when we entered the room,it wasn't that nice. Really is an old hotel. Unfriendly staff. No complimentary drinking water, coffee or tea. Big room but with really old furniture, mouldy partitions and cracks tiles. Old toilet and the floor tiles look very dirty. I have to wear my slipper even during... More
