The Flegra Palace Hotel & Spa is often lauded for its pristine rooms, equipped with modern amenities, though a few guests find them a tad snug. Visitors revel in the hotel's tranquil and secure atmosphere, which is both refreshing and inviting. Its cleanliness is a standout feature, with daily maintenance of rooms, grounds, and pool areas. The plethora of amenities, including the sunbeds, pool, and DJ-led beach access, along with a hearty breakfast, receive positive nods. Its strategic location offers guests the convenience of nearby beaches, shopping, and nightlife. However, opinions on value diverge, with some guests finding the drink and beach service costs on the higher side. The service garners applause for its exceptional attentiveness, contributing to a memorable experience for many.

Just home from 7 days at Flegra palace and we did enjoy our stay very much. The hotel is lovely and very nicely decorated and pretty clean. The pool area was exceptionally attractive and had a really relaxed ambience. I particularly liked the raised seating area over the pool it was a great place to sit and have a coffee with a bit of shade. The sun beds were definitely the most comfortable we have ever had and were quite wide which is potentially why they can’t fit so many in and why sometimes in high season may be not enough. Just guessing there . Me and my hubby could both fit on one which is unusual. The breakfast was amazing so much choice and really good quality. Omelette cooked to order was nice and hot. The rooms were very nice and the beds were comfy.
Now for the negatives , I thought that it had been exaggerated about road noise but it is a very busy road day and night and very close. Our balcony overlooked the road so was not pleasant to sit there despite the sea view. I tried earplugs for sleeping but would say the only thing that helped drown out the noise was the free air con and another mini fan I brought on the bedside table just about covered the noise. During the day round the pool it wasn’t as annoying to be fair.
The staff were all pleasant and friendly but it was a very different experience here to the islands where we find they like to get to know you .Reception was helpful in ordering taxis etc but I was very disappointed at the end of the holiday when I felt deliberately mislead. Maybe it was a language breakdown if I’m being generous. We were told it was 50 euros to keep your room beyond check out time which is very expensive I feel. I enquired about where you can shower and was told the pool showers at the end of the pool were the only option .We grudgingly paid the money and then later discovered that the Spa has showers that you can use and they were the best showers my family had used all week. The ones in our room had gone hot and cold all week. Somebody else pushed harder to get the information about spa showers. It felt like they wanted to take the extra money. Shame that things ended this way as overall a good experience at Flegra Palace.

This was our first summer holiday together abroad, we absolutely loved the hotel - the staff were really friendly and attentive. Shoutout to the lifeguard who was lovely! The pool was a good temperature, you were allowed to use your own floats/balls etc. There’s plenty of sunbeds but people did tend to put their towels down and not return until hours later which was extremely annoying as you cannot reserve sunbeds, so as the week went on and it got busier I could see people struggling to find beds.

Food - Breakfast was 10/10. Lots of fresh fruit, breads, cereal, crepes, cakes. Also had hot food such as egg, beans, bacon etc. You could get food from the bar by the pool - ‘toast’ came as a toastie with cheese and a slice of meat in for €3.50, they also served ice cream which was €1.50 a scoop, club sandwich was €8, also did bigger meals such as gyros.

Things to do - At the hotel they have life size chess, table tennis/ping pong and a volleyball area. The beach is about a 5 min walk away - it is a grainy beach not sandy like the one in pefkochori. There are a couple of beach clubs, we ate at a mediterranean restaurant there which was absolutely gorgeous food - it was just opposite the hotel near the beach.

Pefkochori is about a 15-20 min walk from the hotel. You can walk on a path beside the main road which is behind some trees and take a slip road down into town - the walk was not bad at all. There is the option for a taxi which is €5 each way.

In pefkochori you have a boat tour that leaves at 09:30am for the day, restaurants, a small old town square, arcade, pharmacy, shops etc. the beach is extremely busy here in peak season.

On the other side of the hotel you have Chaniotis which is also €5 each way or a 30 min walk - we decided to use the taxi for this one and it is definitely worth it with lots of restaurants, bars, a lovely walk along the promenade, the town tended to get busier the later on it got. (Hotel staff are really helpful and can tell you what’s about / order taxi’s etc)

Room - Like other reviews state the room is on the small side. The air con does not work unless all doors are closed. The cleaners were amazing, we had fresh towels, bathroom cleaned and the bed made up everyday. The hairdryer was not very effective but reception happily replaced us with a plug in one. The shower was not very powerful - probably the only negative point. You get a small fridge, a safe, TV, everything you need. Wifi was OK - needed knocked on and off a few times but it did work.

We didn’t use the Spa during our stay but we did use the fitness room/gym - this was really small (see photos), very limited choice of machines but it did for the time we were there.

Overall, we had a lovely time- Halkidiki itself is beautiful, the sunsets are just out of this world. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

Loved it here, nice quiet relaxing holiday just what we needed. Rooms were cleaned daily, just the right size for 2 people, pool was relaxing beds comfortable, breakfast was a great choice of different things, only downfall was the hot water to make tea ( brought own tea bags) staff helpful but couldn't grasp we wanted boiling water to make out tea with always came out luke warm, so just ended up having waster n going back to our room for a hot drink.
All staff were lovely and pleasant, especially Aurora she was always happy and very chatty so thank you for making our stay pleasant, we will be returning to this hotel I'd say its a 5*

Just returned home! Had a unreal time! Room was always spotless, breakfast had a wide range of English and Greek which was perfect. Staff all spoke English well which was helpful! Pool was gorgeous!!! Had no issues at all, lunch and dinner was lovely. Small town nearby the hotel which was around a 10 min walk. The beach was gorgeous which was around 10-12 min walk we walked there most days, it was lovely there. Lots of choice of food everywhere you turned. There was also a boat cruise we went on that was at the end of the main beach hard to miss it. It was amazing we visited 4 different islands and jumped off the boat and was given food and drink there!

Stayed for 5 nights Monday to Saturday with partner, arrived after midnight and check in was very quick and easy, shown up to our room which was very nice, decent size, spotlessly clean and very modern. Reception area is very clean and comfortable.
Room was cleaned daily, safe was no additional charge and also complimentary toiletries in the bathroom.
Pool area was always clean, good quality sun beds and always able to get a sun bed each day. Pool bar drinks were good, cocktails good and food good.
Short 5-10 minute walk to beach and local supermarket and a little further for the main bulk of restaurants and bars. The location is far enough away of the hustle and bustle but close enough too.
Staff always friendly and helpful.
Breakfast alway had plenty of choice each morning and was nice and tasty.
I’ve stayed at a few places in Greece and I’d have to put this at the top. A faultless stay and would highly recommend. I can’t think of any negative points at all.

This was the first Holiday since covid and was a great little place to get away to.
We travelled with our grown son for what we expect will be the last (unexpected) family holiday. The hotel kindly accommodated our request to have two rooms next to each other.
The hotel is situated a short 15 min walk from the centre of the resort and the beach (an beach bars) are a very short walk over the road if you fancy a change from the pool.
The room was kept clean as we are other areas of the hotel and the staff (especially those at the bar) were very helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was surprisingly good with a very large selection of food and the snack bar at the pool was also very good value with a nice selection.
The resort offers a large selection of restaurants but did seem quite quiet- I think possibly due to a few covid restrictions remaining in place.
Certainly recommend hiring cycles as it’s a lovely flat ride to the resorts further up the peninsula.
All in all great holiday with no complaints

We have just returned from Flegra Palace and it was one of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in.
Rooms are lovely, modern and immaculately clean, beds and towels changed daily. WiFi, air conditioning and safety deposit box all available in rooms at no extra charge. We didn't have any problems with the WiFi which other reviewers have mentioned.
The pool is large, clean and set in the middle of the beautiful gardens, there are nice comfortable sunbeds around it. We didn't have any problems getting sunbeds each day but it wasn't quite peak season.
The buffet breakfast ... wow! So much choice. There's the usual selection of hot breakfast items: bacon, eggs, beans etc, there are croissants, cakes, baguettes, bread, salads, ham, cheese boards, turkey, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, jams, nuts, spreads, tea, coffee, juice, crepes, omlettes. Delicious.
The staff arevall helpful and friendly.
The snack bar above the pool is lovely with its glass bottom, the pizza here was excellent.
The walk to the strip in town is probably about 20 minutes, the main road in front of the hotel is very busy but there are other ways. There are lots of restaurants and bars in the seafront around the little pier, the best we found was Fish Alida. We saw dolphins in the sea two evenings.
The beach in town is quite narrow and crowded but if you walk from the hotel (5-10 minute walk) to the beach just to the left of the Blue Carpet Suites, you can find a spot with no one else within 300m, it was lovely and quiet. There are sunbeds at the Blue Carpet but they were crammed together, we prefer plenty of space.
We had a wonderful relaxing holiday and would definitely recommend this fabulous hotel.

Stayed here for a few nights with my husband, sister and brother in law, we had a fantastic time, hotel was beautiful and staff so friendly and helpful. Our room was a superior room and it was really lovely, beds were so comfortable! I had read previous reviews on room’s being small but we didn’t find this personally and actually felt they were very roomy! Pool area was good standard, pool cleaned every morning, sun loungers comfortable, I can see there would not be enough loungers in peak season though. Breakfast was really lovely with a very good selection which caters for everyone. Short walk to sand and shingle beach, the blue carpet with deluxe sun loungers which are payable but come with waiter service. Overall a fantastic short break, I would definitely recommend to all my customers

We have just returned from The Flegra Palace Hotel, Halidiki and were very sad to be leaving after a lovely weeks holiday.
We can’t praise the hotel enough. Maria on Reception gave us a very warm welcome as did all the staff with nothing being too much trouble.

We were on a B&B basis and the breakfast was superb. There was a huge selection to choose from, be it cereals, croissants, home made cakes through to hot full English.

The hotel grounds were very well maintained and their poolside was great with plenty of sunbeds dotted around and canopies.

Our room was excellent, well cleaned with fresh linen and towels each day.
The bar area and restaurant were great and over all Flegra Palace was everything we could have asked for.

The beach is just a few minutes walk across the road from the Hotel. Our hotel had a beach bar called Nostre Mare which led down to the beach itself – stunning with sunbeds, umbrellas and beanbags at no charge. Service was superb and we even had a DJ!

Whilst the beach was shingly, it was nothing a pair of beach shoes couldn’t solve! And as you walked into the water it became clear with sand and not deep.

Flegra Palace lay between two towns, Pefkohori to the right and Hanioti to the left. You could easily walk to Pefkohori, but for 5 euros you could take a cab. Afytos was well worth a visit and not just for the magical sunset.

Plenty of beach bars down by the promenade with excellent restaurants in the old town of Pefkohori. We dined at The Garden restaurant twice and food and service was superb.

Would return to The Flegra Palace in a heart beat .

A gorgeous hotel with the most praise worthy staff.
The kitchen staff, cleaners, and receptionists were all so lovely.

We are vegetarian and also had an allergy, the staff could not have been more accommodating at meal times. One very lovely jolly lady noticed us every dinner and walked us through what we could eat. When telling the staff I kiwi allergy they prepared fruit for me especially on numerous occasions, thank you so much!

The location of the hotel is right by kantinaki beach which is stunning! The town also feels really safe. It really feels like the locals are happy to have us there!

The only negatives I can think of are the wifi did not reach our room at times, the connection was a little unstable. Lastly, I thought the pool indoor was heated, but it was very cold!

Apart from that, the room was clean, the pool was lovely, meals were yummy and the staff cannot be faulted. Will be visiting again!

Hi! There is a small path that leads you there! It is not a normal road to be shown at Google Maps! It is a path through a field!
