People, avoid this Palace if you are looking for luxury. Just a modest hotel / spa with friendly staff. That is it. Definitely not luxurious nor all inclusive. Awful beds: sleep deprivation is guaranteed. Noisy rooms too. Pray your neighbours do not party, even coughing can be heard clearly. The big flatscreen on the wall shows noise on many channels, has no HMDI-port (for e.g. Apple TV) and does not have Netflix, Prime or whatever exists today. No mini bar too. For many things you pay extra (not part of the all inclusive package). Excluded are e.g. a fresh orange juice, an ice cream or room service. Yes, simple / modest things are excluded. The food is okay, for a week.

This hotel flirted with greatness. From the beginning. Great Welcome, very warm, with nice welcome cocktail by the pool. Very polite stuff. Excellent view, I mean, truly excellent. Two swimming pools, one smaller (but with even greater view) and one bigger (with still great view). This hotel's facilities can accomodate your ambitions for summer vacations, with going nowhere outside the hotel, at least for 1-2 or 3 days. The outdoor bar is pretty outstanding and quality of food and beverages almost exceptional. Our room also had breathtaking view, and it seems that the hotel tried to satisfy our request for "the room with the best view" in accordance of course with the price we payed and theroom type we chose. So extra good one for the hotel, their willingness to satisfy customers' requests. Room well sized, and sleeping quality was good enough.Breakfast also was of high quality and quantity. However, the breakfast will not, lets say, impress you, since this is a 5star hotel and with 5 stars, more requirements are created, as it is expected. I've seen 5 star breakfasts that leave you breatheless... This was not the case for Alia Palace, although the breakfast is well enough and you will enjoy it. Another minus was the gym. The gym was (very) small-not the gym you expect from a 5 star hotel. I've seen bigger gyms, twice or three or more times bigger than Alia's gym, in 5 or even in 4star hotels. Someone could support the idea, however, that this is a resort and not a "hotel". But I consider this idea an excuse rather than reality. Furthermore, in the main hotel building, the one where reception and the breakfast hall is housed, there is no elevator between these two: When you finish your breakfast, you have to take the stairs from the basement to the first floor. And as if this was not enough, after climbing the stairs, you have to walk up the hill to reach your room building (there was a golf pitch-like car ready to carry hotel residents from to their room, but this didn't happen always, and I could say, not even very often). And when you reach your room's building, no elevator again. So if you are on one of the upper floors, you have to climb the stairs again to get yourself to the first, second, or third floor. I realise that perhaps somebody won't be bothered by all this, but I was: I mean, man, I'm a lean enough person but I don't want to do... cardio gymnastics right after having my stomach full with breakfast! If I want to run my heart out on a treadmill, I will do so in days that I'm not in vacation! So this was again a disadvantage for me. And again, the excuse of "resort and not hotel" is just a cutting-cost excuse, not a stable argument. Parking spots, also, are present, nevertheless I think there should be more of them. All in all, this is a great hotel. We enjoyed it with my wife. But when flirting with excellence, the requirements are high.

Alia Palace is amazing! When I arrived not sure what to expect, it was very late. The staff and manager made me very welcome, providing me with a big plate of food and speedy check in .The host and staff was so kind and made me feel so welcome. The room was a good size with excellent air conditioning - a blessing as it was hot. All the staff, from the cleaners to the waiters, were very friendly and the whole atmosphere was very laid back. The staff make this hotel very friendly and even come round the pool and take your drinks orders and deliver them to your sunbed. I truly enjoyed! From the hotel I could easily explore the BEAUTIFUL area. I would definitely recommend this hotel, definitely happy with the decision I made. THANK YOU!

We chose the All-Inclusive package for 7 days /pay 6. and were even upgraded to a room with sea view. Excellent value for money, great service, great choice of food, great ambiente, great pool bar and fantastic views. We extended our stay to 9 days. Only disappointment: the pool was very cold (but yes, it was October) and the annoying, drunken and very loud guests from ......... (UK perhaps??) after many free coctails!

This is a very considered review having just returned from a two week stay at the Allia Palace. Like many people this is the first foreign holiday we have had for a while due to current restrictions and our feedback is aimed is directed as feedback for the hotel manager who we hope will consider our views on the basis that we have been fair . The good points for this hotel include it's beautiful elevated location with stunning views , very attractive pool areas and in the main superbly helpful and friendly waiters and bar staff. We did have some issues which should have been resolved without the need to involve the hotel manager these included a broken shower and battle to reach an agreement to swop our evening meal for an occasional lunch as we had booked 2 weeks half board and just wanted an occasional change of scene . Tips for those considering this hotel, it is on a steep hill with no immediate amenities, the suites with sea view and private pool are in fact pretty basic rooms which get no sunshine beyond 11am and the pools are definitely not heated. The approach to these rooms is like entering a scruffy underground bunker, our advice don't bother have a standard room and enjoy the lovely main pool area. Final point for the manager , sort out your reception staff they are without doubt the rudest most insincere trio I have ever come across in a quality hotel, if I were giving a review on them alone I would struggle to give you a single star, you need to tackle this issue to be respectful to the rest of your team overall. I suspect you know who I am talking about within your team if you don't you should! Overall we would recommend your hotel and appreciated your help personally in overcoming the frustration caused by your reception team therefore the 5 stars is for everyone other than them.
