Stayed here for 1 week at the beginning of October 2020, and overall had a lovely time. The staff were very, very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. The views are absolutely stunning, and overall the pool area is lovely with 2 Infinity pools and and a smaller jacuzzi, although half of the jets in the jacuzzi didn’t work. The sun loungers were very comfortable however there were not enough sun loungers and if your towels weren’t down by 8am then you’d be left with no where to sit other than the floor. I found the food average at best, it was never hot and they used cheap ingredients which you would not expect for a 5* hotel. I found the rooms the most disappointing, and have stayed in 3* with better facilities. Very, very basic rooms which were small and a tiny bathroom with no bath.

We stayed here for 7 nights and it was the best holiday ever. The room was perfect, we had a side sea view which was beautiful! The staff were more than helpful; we booked with loveholidays and the transfer there was awful, it was so long and they dropped us in a layby and told us the hotel would pick us up with no more information, obviously this was not the hotels fault!! But they helped us arrange a private transfer to the airport for the return which I definitely recommend if you don't want to sit on a coach going all over Greece for 3 hours!! The pool area was so chilled, drinks were reasonable for a hotel. The pool was chilly but it was October.. The food was great. We were only half board but that was worth it so we could explore Pefkchori in the day. We loved the town, Mamos was great for coffee, so many places to eat and drink. The locals are all so friendly. All in all a great holiday and we will hopefully be back someday.

We had three nights at this hotel as part of a cruise/hotel package. It is listed as a five star but falls short of that, however may be 5* in Greek terms. The common areas of the hotel were fine, the pool was chilly but we were there in October. The staff were helpful and the buffet of decent quality. The hotel is built on a hill so was a bit difficult to move around with ancient joints. Would be fine for younger guests though. Our main grumble was with the room. It was a decent size and the bathroom was spacious. However we found the bed much too hard and awoke each day with back ache. There was also quite a bit of noise from adjoining rooms so the sound proofing of the rooms is below standard. Smoking iss not really discouraged at the hotel apart from the bedrooms and common areas, elsewhere it was ash trays galore.

Room: I booked FULL Sea View; was put in a room where 50% of my view was the Hotel reception Dining: I remember why I dislike buffets; decent variety of food, however, very bland. Better real greek food down by the beach. I had half board (Breakfast & dinner); water is NOT included in your dinner just FYI! Someone help me to understand why water is included in breakfast but not dinner? Staff: Most were great! Especially Katrina and Radosh! Unfortunately; 1 server decided I was the only person who cannot take her drink outside; cannot do XYZ.. SPA: NOT TRANSPARENT; they advertise a spa with steam room and sauna; this is at an extra cost and in 1 hour timeslots that require appointments!!! So; if it's busy, NO SPA ACCESS FOR YOU! General: Staff were fine. Housekeeping was great! HOWEVER; I was disturbed twice daily by housekeeping and then a Mini-Bar inspector! I'm not sure why I needed to be disturbed DAILY for this? It seems only SOME guests are provided with: 1) Bathrobes 2) Door notice! (My neighbours had them; I did not) 3) Lack of any entertainment (especially when it rained) Atmosphere/clientele: Given it's an adults only resort; I was truly expecting calm and relaxation. There were very noisy, LADs who basically drove anyone that WAS NOT absolutely drunken; away. The resort seems to attract a mixture of ages (from young couples in their 20s; to single travellers and the silver surfers... yet, all hotel facilities and 'entertainment' reflected OAPs. I still had a good time; apart from the gorgeous pool/lounging area outside; this resort is NOT 5 STARS (I'd say 3*) and it wasn't particularly relaxing given no spa (despite advertising they have a spa).

Absolutely spot on, ignore the reviews on food and service, I have found everything absolutely perfect, service great, all inclusive is great and the pools and views are gorgeous! Highly recommend. Great value for money and lovely weather. Massage was also very good, especially as its 20% off when staying at the hotel. Free parking is a massive bonus as its £120 taxi from the airport if you haven’t pre booked.

We chose this hotel, and picked the most expensive rooms, because of the promised Private HEATED pools and Panoramic View + the rooms were very nice + the views from the main hotel pools and room bed were wonderful / the food (we chose HB - breakfast and dinner) was ok, Grilled Shark, Moussaka, Rabbit Stifado, breakfast honey were great + but for example the choice of hams and waffles and available juices were terrible, desserts artificial + plus you don't get even water included for your dinner which considering the price is a joke - The Heated Pool was hardly if at all heated - the declared 28 degrees not close at all, it was impossible to get in and stay in the pool and we had 19-21 degrees C outside - so our main expectation was not met at all as the water was like the air outside or even colder - There was no view from inside the pool (I didn't stay there longer than a minute, but my desperate friends risked their health ;) ) because of the bushes next to the pool were not cut and therefore covered the promised view - The sauna was not included, extra paid and required reservation, the gym was small and old, no events/ attractions in the evening, Service not very welcoming nor engaging.. To sum up, I don't see those 5 stars there - except the views and pools - which actually work only in the summer, even if you pay extra for the heated ones

Where to start was there for 2 weeks first night meal I was shown up in front of all the dinners as we were stood there at a table as they were no place settings for 3 for good 5 min so I took knife and fork off the next table and I belive he was head waiter showed me up by shouting where did I get the place setting from he said I should of waited first night this. Food was horrible cold I mean every thing same thing every day breakfast was horrible scrambled egg cold tasted like fish and chef cooking the fried eggs fresh on your plate cold and slimy how do you do that? Fish full of bones and every night meat was pork either in gravy then dinner disguised as some thing else we were there a fortnight and had to eat out. 9 days of the holiday. Least the cats got well fed for 2 weeks no entertainment on only dreadful karaoke and a band who did the exact same songs the following week air con soaked the bed every morning staff restaurant staff never gave you chance to finish they swipe your plate off you soon as knife and fork hit the plate so if you wanted seconds which was not very often you no knife and fork any way then the puddings all look different but all taste the same disgusting. This is not a 5 star hotel 2 at least am a chef I would not dare serve it as a 5 star. Am not posh but been to many hotels never a 5 star always 3 or 4 they where 100% better service and food then here need to get your chefs back to cooking collage

My wife and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary and we had an amazing time. The hotel is lovely with some stunning views of the bay and mountain in the background . We had a massage during our stay which was lovely and was just what we needed. The staff are so helpful, very friendly and can’t do enough for you. We had the all in inclusive package and the food was delicious and the drinks from the bar - wow. I would 100% recommend this hotel to any one. Massive thank you to the staff at the hotel for making our stay so good. We stayed from 02/10/2022 and left on 7/10/2022

To start, the hotel is set in a scenic location overlooking the town of Pefkochori & the sea. All of which is only a 10/15 minute walk down the hill. But if walking isnt your thing then the hotel provide a free shuttle bus to the beach all day long, and also a free return. The rooms are clean & tidy. Beds were made & new towels provided every single day. Plus every day they left us a big bottle of water free of charge, which i thought was a lovely touch. We had a sea view appartment which also overlooked all of the town. The food was AMAZING. Maybe not the biggest choice but it was more than we needed. Everything tasted so fresh. The particular highlight was the cake selection. The biggest PLUS for me was the service. They couldnt do enough for you, especially at meal time. Hardworking staff never stopped, always smiled and made you feel welcome. The pool area was gorgeous. Very relaxed. The infinity pool overlooked the town. The sunloungers were very comfy and the poolside staff provided us with drinks throughout the day. Only minor criticism for me was the house beer, but everyone else seemed to be drinking it with no complaints. The cocktails were fine though. And also the late night entertainment was a little dull. But to be honest im nitpicking with these faults. Would i return? 100% yes. A perfect couples hoilday.

We have just returned home from a weeks all inclusive stay at Alia Palace. It was a perfect place to enjoy a week of resting, relaxing and recharging. There are many comments on here which I feel are unjust. We can't fault our stay, from the meal provided when we arrived ( mindnight) to the late check-in out and lunch on departure . The food was always tasty and a variety of choice, the drinks were lovely, yes limited on all inclusive but that's to be expected. The calm relaxing atmosphere and attentive staff, both by the pool and in the restaurant made the experience even better for us. We will definitely come back. We also enjoyed trips into pefkohori, there are some lovely bars and restaurants. I can highly recommend Fish Alida, and Orca bar, they were both fantastic.
