We chose the All-Inclusive package for 7 days /pay 6. and were even upgraded to a room with sea view. Excellent value for money, great service, great choice of food, great ambiente, great pool bar and fantastic views. We extended our stay to 9 days. Only disappointment: the pool was very cold (but yes, it was October) and the annoying, drunken and very loud guests from ......... (UK perhaps??) after many free coctails!

This is a very considered review having just returned from a two week stay at the Allia Palace. Like many people this is the first foreign holiday we have had for a while due to current restrictions and our feedback is aimed is directed as feedback for the hotel manager who we hope will consider our views on the basis that we have been fair . The good points for this hotel include it's beautiful elevated location with stunning views , very attractive pool areas and in the main superbly helpful and friendly waiters and bar staff. We did have some issues which should have been resolved without the need to involve the hotel manager these included a broken shower and battle to reach an agreement to swop our evening meal for an occasional lunch as we had booked 2 weeks half board and just wanted an occasional change of scene . Tips for those considering this hotel, it is on a steep hill with no immediate amenities, the suites with sea view and private pool are in fact pretty basic rooms which get no sunshine beyond 11am and the pools are definitely not heated. The approach to these rooms is like entering a scruffy underground bunker, our advice don't bother have a standard room and enjoy the lovely main pool area. Final point for the manager , sort out your reception staff they are without doubt the rudest most insincere trio I have ever come across in a quality hotel, if I were giving a review on them alone I would struggle to give you a single star, you need to tackle this issue to be respectful to the rest of your team overall. I suspect you know who I am talking about within your team if you don't you should! Overall we would recommend your hotel and appreciated your help personally in overcoming the frustration caused by your reception team therefore the 5 stars is for everyone other than them.

I liked that they don’t have main building, but a lot of small buildings and a very special houses with private pool. That make the hotel very quiet and peaceful. Of course having only adults (over 16) in the hotel helps, because we all love children, but children’s crying and shouting is not what you looking for on a holiday (especially if yours are grown up and you need peace). The staff was exceptional, quiet, polite, nice, doing their job very quickly, but efficiently and always with a smile. Even the cleaning lady was like that, didn’t make any noise like in other hotels when they talk to each other very laud and wake you up in the morning. They applied all kovid protocols: disinfected the tables and chairs when somebody finished eating and left the table, wearing face masks all the time, taking food from the restaurant after hand disinfect and putting gloves for single use on. The hotel had a bus, which brings the guests all day ling in the center of the town or on a beach (because the hotel is on a hill), for no additional cost. The food was really nice, with lot of choices for breakfast and for dinner, with a vegetarian option in every meal (soy or almond milk and other dishes), plenty of fruit, salats deserts, greek yogurt in all variants, famous greek vanila pie and other nice things. The famous greek frappe (or other types of coffee) were included in the breakfast at no additional cost. We had a junior suit with private pool, which was really special experience and allow us to be more isolated during kovid. The atmosphere by the pool was nice the first week, because the sun beds were very comfortable and the music was quiet so it was really enjoyable with the stunning view. But the second week the music was laud and even when we told the boy by the bar that it is not pleasant all day long to have such noise, he didn’t do anything about that.

2nd time at this hotel , it’s truly a holiday heaven , pool , sun beds , no getting up early for beds !,,,, . Last year a few COVID issue (long wait for drinks , food average ) .This year what a transformation, the pool bar attentive , shout out to George and the delightful ladies working around the pool , service with a smile , attentive . The ladies at dinner and lunch absolutely warm welcome , friendly … Athena a credit to your staff . A wonderful person ensuring we had a fantastic holiday To the cleaning staff our room was cleaned to perfection every day . The spa again a truly peaceful experience. One build to consider given all the staff brilliant customer service ensuring a fantastic holiday experience apart from one ! Food breakfast and lunch good , rarely ate in for dinner , amazing local restaurants. the male receptionist needs some more customer training / service with a smile / listen to requests ( would understand an off day , but 17 days of sullen attitude , ( we learnt fast to avoid ) and waited for the female receptionist. Maybe needs not to work front of house . Mini bus driver please ensure all guest wear masks when coming back to the hotel in the evening . That said will be returning .. again

We went to alia palace after reading the reviews and couldn't wait to go..... What a let down after frequently doing adults only holidays we thought we would go that step further and pay for the luxury of 5 star with our own private pool on arrival we thought this is nice hmm we was then put on a golf buggy with our cases and took upto the top of a hill to our apartment and we then realised both of us in our 60s how on earth are we going to manage that hill for the next seven days when the restaurant and bar you can guess was at the bottom of the hill so we went back down to reception and asked if we could be moved to a nearer apartment at the bottom of hill obviously the answer was no but we could upgrade to a private villa at a cost of 140 euros per night which would have been over £800 more hence we stayed at the top of the hill Then there was the food it was terrible but maybe that a matter of opinion The all inclusive drinks was terrible we had to ask them to stop putting the ice in ....so we could taste the alcohol!!! Absolutely no kind of entertainment to say we are in our 60s we have never been to such a boring hotel sorry alia PALACE you need to do some research on how to make people want to return
