Absolutely loved this hotel! We landed quite late and didn't get there until 11:30 pm but we were offered some food and then driven to our room. The room was clean, spacious, the bed was very comfy and the balcony gave us perfect views of the sea. The food was lovely with omelettes cooked fresh in the morning and the evening food was really good! Plenty of choice for different meats and vegetarian as well. The pool area was gorgeous and very relaxing. I know some people have said that the waitresses favoured certain guests but we didn't get at all! They were lovely and attentive to all guests regardless of your package deal. The rest of the staff were all friendly and so happy to please. Again people have said that the hotel is on a steep hill and in a quiter town. This is the case but the hotel provided free shuttle buses in the day. The hill is easier to walk in the evening and there are plenty of bars in the town. Plus the hotel provide their own day trips to different areas. We did a few and they were very good and a cheaper way to visit other places near by! All in all a perfect holiday, thank you Alia Palace ❤

All staff were friendly when I stayed, and the food was lovely too. Spent 10 days here, just a shame there’s nothing close by. We ended up spending most of our time at the hotel which was a real shame, there’s a free shuttle bus to the beach too.

Visited Alia Palace with my boyfriend early September. We had a junior suite with a pool which was perfect with amazing views and extremely clean. Few issues with the air con but managed to get it sorted. Shower quite small but not end of the world. Reception staff helpful and the lady who was ‘host’ was always extremely welcoming and always checked we were ok and satisfied with everything. She is a real credit to the hotel and stood out against the other customer facing staff. The pool area was lovely with cushioned sun beds and never felt busy with plenty of beds always spare. Service around the pool was ok the pool waitresses were friendly enough but behind the bar less friendly. We were half board and the quality of the drinks were not the best with the majority of soft drinks or mixers being flat. Beer was ok but more often than not was served with a massive head. Didn’t try cocktails but heard from the all inclusive customers they weren’t very nice. Food in the buffet was nice, we only had evening meal a couple of times but breakfast was nice with plenty of fruits and breads. Omelettes were being made fresh but feel the hotel could benefit from more show cooking and personality. With the exception of one or two, staff working in the buffet always looked miserable and never really cracked a smile and asking for a coffee felt like I was putting them out. Had lunch at the Ala Carte next to the pool a few times and couldn’t fault it. Prices were very reasonable and always got free bread and dips as a starter. Service here was also fab so couldn’t fault it. The hotel is only 10/15 mins walk from the old square and main strip and shuttle bus is provided however we walked most days. Some lovely places to eat in the old square so definitely worth the walk down. Overall was a great stay, extremely relaxing and very clean with fantastic views. Service, buffet and drinks definitely not 5* but would recommend to anyone wanting a lovely break and would suggest bed and breakfast.

Just returned home from a week in Alia Palace Hotel. We knew we were in for a good holiday when our transfer commented “the best hotel and the best views” when he pulled up. Upon arrival we were taken for welcome drinks at the pool bar and amazed by the gorgeous views surrounding us. We were taken up to our room and our bags were already there. Lovely room with everything we needed and a sea view from our balcony really put the icing on the cake. All staff couldn’t do enough for you and came round the pool to ask if you’d like drinks, which arrived to your sun beds moments after. There are always sun beds available around the pool, at any time of the day and they are so comfy. The hotel is located at the top of a hill but there is a shuttle bus taking you down and back up again every hour or so, with a very friendly and smiley driver. The food was to a good standard and nice drinks , however sometimes a bit repetitive and the all inclusive ends at 10.30pm which was a shame as the bar emptied out at this time (despite some evening entertainment continuing past this time). Other than this, nothing could have been better. Beautiful , relaxing and romantic break away; which we couldn’t recommend anymore.

We have just come back from a week at the Alia Palace Hotel. The hotel is near the top of a steep hill, but it has lovely views of the sea and the surrounding area. The pool area is very nice and there was never an issue in getting a sunbed. Restaurant was small and perfectly fine, but the food was very average and the choices limited. The hotel room itself was clean, but dated and small. We had issues with electrical sockets being lose, but they were quickly rectified. It is not a five star hotel, i thought it was a three star, but my daughters thought it was a four. But what let the hotel down, were the little things; "All Inclusive" was from 10AM to 10.30PM. The focus of the hotel staff seemed to be favoured towards the non-all inclusive customers. You had to be on alert to catch their attention and order drinks! Many of the staff were clearly not enjoying their jobs, and although never rude, they seldom provided a happy experience. Hotel needs to hire additional staff to provide a better level of service. The face of the hotel, the reception staff were not very friendly at all. If you have a late flight on your return journey be aware that you might end up getting changed in the spa or pool shower room - both inadequate! All in all the hotel was a disappointment, and i would not go back again
