We stayed here at the end of October with British Airways. They don't offer transfers so we hired a car and always found a space in the hotel car park. Check in was simple (they didn't even take our passports!) but quite clinical. We booked a standard junior suite - this was situated right at the back of the hotel, a few mins walk from the Reception so it was lovely and quiet. It was first floor so had a sea view but given the low sun at this time of year, did not get the sun at all. It had a large bed, and a sort of sofa that could become another bed. There was a kettle but having asked at Reception, they do not provide tea /coffee etc. There was a large fridge in the room and a decent bathroom with walk in shower. Despite a good sized wardrobe, there was a lack of anywhere to hang coats, hand bags... Or wet towels! There was no room /Hotel info in the room and the air con /heating took a bit of working out! Mattress was definitely on the firm side as were the pillows but a slimmer/softer pillow was delivered within an hour of asking. Rooms were cleaned every day as standard. Breakfast was fabulous. Cereal, fresh bread, toast, hot 'English' options, continental with cheese, ham etc, yogurt, cake, tea, coffee. Enough to fuel us until dinner! Dinner was varied - Always several hot options, pasta, salads etc. The tzatziki was incredible. Shame there was no pitta on offer at any point but that's a small thing. At each meal, a mask was needed and disposable gloves given to use the buffet. Pool area and sunloungers were very nice, though it was only warm enough to use it properly on a couple of occasions! The only bar was outside so as temperatures plummeted to 5 degrees in the evening, it was a little uncomfortable to sit for too long, even in our coats! The animation guy (sorry, can't remember his name) worked hard to engage people, despite the cold! The Jet2 rep, Maria, was outstanding. Despite us not being with Jet2, she freely gave us so much information and tips about where to go. She's a credit to the place. We were in Pefkochori in the final week before everything shut down for the season. Most of the restaurants and shops had closed already and it was very quiet. Having the car certainly gave us the freedom the explore (Afytos is a beautiful traditional village and the 5* resort of Sani was another good day out). Overall, a lovely stay and a much needed break.

We returned once again to the wonderful ANNA HOTEL on the 24th sept for two weeks and it only reconfirmed what we already knew , this is the BEST HOTEL IN PEFKOHORI and a credit to the whole Halkidiki region. Clean, bright , well appointed and wonderfully staffed , it was indeed a great pleasure to spend our holiday here. Pedros and Anna are so welcoming and oversee every aspect of the day to day running of the hotel . They are both friendly and approachable , as are all the staff and this reflects in a relaxed yet very professionally run hotel. A word on the food ::-EXCELLENT, plentiful and with ample choice , our half board option included breakfast and dinner , and both were always TERRIFIC, as was the bar food service in the afternoons , washed down with a quite stunning MOJITO.. The pools , particularly the childrens pool also deserve a special mention. Pefkohori is a pretty and friendly little resort , ideally suited for exploring the Kassandra peninsula , and it benefits enormously from having the ANNA HOTEL to set such a great example. Roll on our next visit in 2022

We booked this hotel as an impromptu holiday during October Half Term and it exceeded all of our expectations. The room was immaculate and modern (as seen on the photos on Jet2). The pools were lovely (albeit cold as expected during this time of year) - our 12 year old son had the best time splashing around all day long! On an evening the pool was lit with coloured LED lights which really made the scenery and atmosphere special. The hotel on the whole was clean, modern and vast. The dining room featured a glass floor in the centre with fish and turtles swimming below which was unique. The food was as you'd expect - buffet style for breakfast and dinner, 3 courses served at lunch time to the table (we were full board) which was always tasty. The pool bar served food and drinks from the moment we woke until we went to bed on an evening. There were shots served FOC every night. Drinks and cocktails were good value, great measures and chilled. Lots of music playing which always matched the mood and atmosphere. There was a real family feel about the hotel which is rare in a hotel of this size. We got to know all of the staff. We went at the very end of the season so most of the other bars, restaurants and shops in the area were closed. This was lovely because the beach (which was gorgeous) was deserted. We took snacks and drinks from the local bakery and enjoyed a private beach experience. Entertainment area featured daily darts tournament, daily workouts, kids disco, quiz or karaoke. There was a games area where older children like our son could play pool etc. Weather was much better than we had expected but given the time of year we still needed a jacket on an evening, however the bar area had heaters so we were never cold. Can't wait to return!

This was our 2nd holiday since the Covid pandemic but our first and last at the Anna Hotel. Reasons I wouldn’t return far out weigh those of why I would want too. Firstly the room looked nothing like the photos from the Jet2 website, the room was very small for a family of 4. Cleanliness of the room was also poor. Pool nice but sun loungers surrounding have nice comfortable cushions however these were often damp (from being left out 24/7), ripped and mouldy. Breakfast was ok - however the orange juice and apple juice was awful. Dinner - reasonable choice however the food was always cold. If you didn’t time arriving right then you were often in a battle of getting a table. I’m surprised with the rating this hotel gets to be honest it’s clearly a 3 star. Lots of attention needed to bring this hotel back up for next season. The area also appears very run down - graffiti etc. As the previous review said not a lot open.

So here is an honest account of our stay . Positives , Rooms immaculately clean , very good air con/ heating system and boy did we need it , Lovely pool area . Grounds well kept . Food at pool very good , cocktails strong and well priced , Negatives . Pool sunbed mattresses in very poor condition , wet through and mouldy and ripped . The whole resort it self was basically closed , Only 3 restaurants opened on sea front every where else closed , And yes we needed to use these restaurants as the evening meal was not too our liking , food was cold we did complain but was never rectified . Now I know the weather is in the lap of the gods but our stay could have been made more pleasant had the outdoor heaters arrived a bit sooner , The bar is outside and it was very cold , Needs bedside lights no low lights at all , I am guessing if the weather was good and other places were open it would make for a good holiday . But unfortunately we just saw a rundown town with no endearing features at all . Only go in season would be my top tip .
