this place has a nice vintage feel to it, with plush carpet in the lobby with a magnificent view of lake toya. now it seems it has been reduced into serving large tour groups, and there is a factory feel in everything from the buffet to the cleaning ladies ushering people to check out in the morning. rooftop hotspring with...

Directions: Took the shuttle bus provided by the hotel at Sapporo JR station. Need to reserve the number of seats. So need to email or call the hotel before the day of departure and after confirming the booking. Service : Good.(only stayed one night) The room number was already planned earlier and made known to us while queuing for the...

My family and I stayed here in December 2016 for a family holiday. We were greeted by the spectacular view of Lake Toya as we walked into the hotel lobby. The bus stop Motomachi was right outside the hotel, making it very accessible. Rooms have both western and futon style bedding to suit everyone. However, I rated this hotel slightly...

Hotel dining area had bad ventilation especially for the dinner service where certain dishes are fried. The strong smell of oil lingers on clothing afterwards. Room facilities are on the older side and bathroom is extremely small although the room has a great view of the lake. For the breakfast, the croissant is pretty good but the others not as...

This hotel is value for money for the view you get. A serene view of Lake Toya right at the window. The room we booked is Japanese style futon. Onsen at the hotel is quite average. Buffet dinner has wide variety of food but quality of seafood is not great. Beef is tough and salmon not very tasty.

Stayed at this hotel while we visited lake toya during winter. Honestly the views outside the hotel facing the lake was magnificent. However, we were allocated a room facing the mountains which were cheaper. The room felt old but it's a typical Japanese setup. The room was clean though and adequate. The dining is done at b1 and I thought...

Stayed in a quadruple Japanese style room. Sorry to say this but the toilet smelled most pleasant. Doesn't have a clean feeling. I dreaded to go to the toilet during my stay. You have to bring your own towels from the hotel room to the onsen, which I didn't know at first because the last hotel I was at provided...

The hotel is fronting the beautiful lake Toya! It is just next to the lake and you can simple go downstairs for a stroll by it! Very beautiful and relaxing stay for my family. The room is big and spacious. Buffet dinner was good! Seafood is so fresh here in Hokkaido! The hotspring is beautiful and relaxing.

Only plus about this hotel is the lake view and outdoor onsen overlooking the lake. The staff spoke sufficient English but the hotel overall is not English friendly- not even signs for female/male toilets!! And the manual inside the rooms were all in Japanese. When we arrived, a lovely female staff helped unload our luggage from the car and brought...
