The hotel is old but its clean and comfort. The location and the view from room (Lake view) is good. Breakfast is not bad. Staffs are friendly, but some of the staff in reception can't speak English. When we go in the hotel and ask for check in, he point us to the lounge area without telling us to wait....

I can hardly find any positive for the hotel. The rooms are old and the bathrooms small. The water pressure is on and off and water temperature varying from time to time. The glassware in the room had cracks on the top which nearly cut my lips. The shared bath was crowded and dirty. Food was mediocre to the best,...

Stayed here for a night as part of our winter package tour of Hokkaido. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Arrived late afternoon during winter and checked in for a short rest before everyone changed into the yukata provided and adjourned for a kaiseki course dinner at a private room. So much delicious food served in individual sets. An hour or so...

We stayed 1 nights and 2 rooms for group of 5 adults and 1 elder. The view is good, room's window facing Lake Toya. Booking via official Japanese website is much cheaper than platform. Early bird price is cheap incluse onsen, breakfast, and dinner. Firework everyday for September and October.

Pros: - friendly staff at the reception (some could speak mandarin too) - the Uncle who runs the convenience shop also very friendly and tried his best to communicate even though I didn't know Japanese. I was looking for laundry detergent and he was very patient and helpful in trying to decipher what I was telling him. - there are...

The hotel is undoubtedly a bit old but clean and well maintained. Staffs are very helpful, friendly, alert and polite. My mum felt dizzy after long hours sitting in car travelling and unable to stand well, and without any delay a staff brought me wheelchair which was just in time. Food is unexpectedly more yummy than i have expected especially...

Toya Kanko Hotel is a pretty old hotel you will notice it once you step into the lobby. Yet, I would said their staff are very friendly and helpful to us. Once we drove it, they welcomed us from the car park, helped us to load our luggage and assist us to find locate a parking spot. When I checked...

Good location. Great view - Every room faces the lake Toya. Great service from a staff who is a Taiwanist. Value for money as my hotel package covers breakfast and dinner. Staff speak little English but sufficient enough to go by. Will definitely visit again.

We have the Tatami room and it's quite comfy. The dinner was great. We've a group of 7 and the hotel is nice to provide us a private room for our dinner. The staff is very patience and the service was quite good. We went for the hot stone spa and was quite great. My mum tried the 1st time...

Had booked a Tatami room, it was clean and the Onsen was also ok - in general we would say the hotel "had its best time". Food was matching the hotel impression - luckily we knew what we had to expect. Fireworks in the night had been poor but as they do it every night....
