We are traveling home on a 5 week bucket list circle trip from Forks, Washington - Fairbanks - Anchorage - home - with a truck tent and needed a place to stay with a kitchenette to heat up leftovers and re-group. They could not be more accommodating in showing us the room possibilities before we decided what to take -... More

Here you are in the middle of British Columbia's absolute nowhere. In a town with almost nothing. This hotel went out of the way to help us with dinner. We used their BBQ grill for our hamburgers. Opened one of her kitchenettes so we could use utensils and plates for dinner. There was one store in town. A combination grocery,... More

You drive over rough roads and arrive at this little place called Northway Motor inn. In comparison to 4 I left in Prince Rupert. This was great. The front desk was excellent in directions to things to do in a town of 200, maybe more. The rooms were modern, beds were great, washd my piles of dirty clothes........only 2 places... More

The staff are wonderfully helpful. Comfy, if basic rooms. Good quality toilet items were a bonus. Be aware there is nowhere to eat in Dease Lake except for a couple of take out joints. There isn't more to say. The 200 word minimum is really stupid TripAdvisor.

Seeing how this is the only choice in Dease Lake, it's the best place in Dease Lake to stay! It's clean, the beds are comfortable, and it's clean. The motel apparently stays open for roadway workers that are out on a job as the entire lot was dump trucks and work pickups. They were up early so, if you expect... More

The owner loves cats & she met & petted my cat. Spacious rooms. Very neat & clean. This is a very isolated town in BC. Great tv reception! Everything you need without any frills. Definitely recommend this is you are driving the Cassiar highway in BC. Fairly good wifi too. Pets welcomed.

The most comfortable motel we've stayed in this trip. The owner is present, friendly and approachable. The rooms are clean and the bed will leave you well rested. After staying in two Super8's and a Travelodge in Alaska days before, the Northway was a very welcome improvement. Dease is a sleepy little community. The grocery store and a take out... More

We had booked online and had requested a room on the main floor, only to be told that it wasn't possible when we arrived. This was important for us, so requested that they double check, thankfully they were able to provide us with one in the end. Learn from us to confirm with the hotel if this is a priority... More

Very nice location on the Cassiar Hwy, in the small town of Dease Lake. Everything was very well-kept, and the staff friendly & helpful. The room was quiet, comfortable & clean. Although there are no restaurants in Dease Lake (this is a very remote area), the grocery store across the street is well-stocked. Also, food-mobiles come to town. Grills are... More

There are few choices to stay on the Cassiar Highway to Alaska and this is a good one. The room was clean and the staff friendly. A choice of one place to eat aptly called The Shack. You walk up and order and take it with you but the food was OK. Cassiar Highway is the best way to drive... More
