We stayed for one night here and enjoyed the dinner and breakfast. the food is the highlight. Dinner was excellent - we had the special that they were offering which gave a taste of the local region. My wife had the soup. Both were excellent. Service was good and the owner made us feel welcome making recommendations for both food...

Stayed there one night - bedding was very comfortable, owners were super friendly and food and house wine were excellent! This family have been running this place since 1710! Not much to do in the area around though but nice countryside and small town nearby.

This is a family owned Gasthaus not to miss. Friendly staff with a warm welcome makes your stay a pleasure. We had dinner in the restaurant and was served fantastic food. The breakfast will stay in our memory for long.

This old historic hotel is loaded with cleanliness and charm . We stayed four nights and enjoyed the small village and surrounding region. The train and buses get you to the other small towns. The owner is helpful and the food is very good. It is highly recommended for a quiet rest from traveling.

We stopped in Rheine on our way back to Hook of Holland. The hotel doesn't look much from the street but the bedrooms are well equipped, modern with large sparklingly clean bathrooms. Plenty of breakfast if a little cramped but this will improve when the refurbishment of the restaurant is completed. We would definitely stay again on our next trip...
