This was one of the cleanest smallest rooms, we have ever stayed in! The weather was great. Definitely would not want to be in this room on hot nights as there was no a/c. The queen bed was comfy but like a lot of older motels the walls are not sound proofed. The location is perfect for visiting Tobermory. The... More

My wife and I visited Tobermory on a weekday in Sept, Tobermory was very busy and many places were fully booked (book in advance). The Harbourside Motel had a couple of rooms free and for a reasonable $85 for a night. The motel is in a great location 50m from the dockside where the tourist boats moor; it's also 100m... More

Quaint hotel overlooking the harbour, well kept and tidy. Large deck overlooking the harbour for sightseeing. Room was great, a bit dated but in good shape, all in working order. Rate was $85 for the night so quite reasonable. We recommend and will stay here again. Some rooms do not have A/C.

Stayed here at the end of August for a little family vacation . Though the rooms are a bit dated - the motel and grounds were very clean . We had a room with two double beds and a sofa bed, microwave and mini fridge. Would have liked to have bigger beds but all in all the room was fine... More

We stayed here one night before catching the ferry to Manitoulin Island. Great room, comfortable beds, everything in good order. The rooms on the street side have drive up parking and the rooms on the other side face the bay. Quiet, clean, comfortable. What more could one ask?

We stayed in room 18 for two nights. The room has two single beds and one sofa bed. The sofa bed was so old and uncomfortable that I still have pain in my back. We paid $400 (Thursday and Friday night, it was not even weekend) and I think that for such an accomodation it was a rip off. Room... More

The location of the Harbourside is excellent. You can unload your vehicle then walk. Restaurants, harbour, tourist boats, liquor store and grocery store are all within a short walking distance of the motel. The parking is gravel so you can expect some dust. The rooms do not have air conditioners, but they supply a fan and all windows open and... More

Such a cute motel, our room was spacious and furnished nicely. Staff was helpful and available. Free wifi was also nice! The room and bathroom were both clean. Location was prime, just a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants by the harbour. There was also a cute set up in the back yard with chairs that you could... More

I was blown away from the Harbourside Motel. Location was excellent, as well as the rate. We booked very last minute and I was not expecting much as most places were sold out. Our room was quaint, we spent most of our stay exploring nearby attractions, so it was perfect for us! Bed was comfy, fan provided was nice to... More

We stayed one night and could have stayed a week. The staff are happy and helpful. We had a very good experience checking in. The staff were very efficient and thought to mention everything we might want to know about the motel and nearby area. We arrived on 2 motorcycles and within 10 minutes a staff brought us towels specifically... More
