Amazing industrial look of the space. Traditional and trendy at same time. Very nice staff and the breakfast is amazing and complete. Good location for calm days to relax on the country side. Very good value for money. Recommend for sure!

We loved this hotel, the rooms were interesting architecturally and we had a great view over the valley. We liked the wall finishes. The restaurant was also very good - nice breakfast and a great tapas dinner. Very small village with not much else but some interesting looking walks.

Plano 5 is well positioned with a good view of Serra da Estrela. Two nights stay. The place is good. Room and bathroom have a good size and bed is comfortable. Breakfast is not included. The town is quite small and there are no many options. In this way, we chose pay for breakfast, at least the first night, 7.50 euros. Breakfast is basic and too expensive. We decided not repeat this experience. Besides the breakfast price, a second point which was not nice: hotel was empty, there were only myself and my husband during our 2 nights stay. I can't understand why we were placed in a room with no window, maybe the only one. Our room was a crate.

We only stayed one night, but would have loved to have stayed longer at this very special boutique hotel. The contact prior to arrival was swift and helpful, the welcome warm and friendly, and the situation absolutely spectacular. Our room, though quite small, had an outstanding view, and was immaculate inside, with a huge comfy bed with lovely crisp white linen. The architecture of this hotel is very special, and the beautifully designed interiors made it a joy to be in. We had various tapas dishes for dinner which were all delicious ... the dates stuffed with chorizo and wrapped in Serrano ham being particularly notable. And the house wine by the glass was great value. Breakfast the next day was fantastic - fresh fruit, gorgeous creamy yoghurt, hams and cheeses as well as Portuguese scrambled eggs and fresh warm bread. Heaven. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and did all they could to make our stay special. We will be back!

Fantastic place to stay and dine! Amazing location in mountains, easy access, place to park car. We arrived in evening, were greeted and checked in quickly and were shown our room. Had a very pleasant surprise when we entered the room - stylish, warm and clean room with comfy bed and crisp white sheets, amazing views from bedroom over the valley and hills. Lovely bathroom with double shower and very nice toiletries. All freshly refurbished, made to perfection. We went for dinner and had pleasant discovery of tasteful meal at very affordable prices and outstanding service. Our host was Nelson - he made us feel very welcome and was very professional yet friendly. In morning we had amazing breakfast with stunning views from our table. Delicious honey and jams were provided by local farmers. We enjoyed delicious coffee after our breakfast on the terrace listening to amazing music by Madeleine Peyroux. We were served by property owners - a very nice and welcoming couple. This was amazing discovery on our holiday in Portugal. We highly recommend this place.
