The Staff are very attentive and should you get take the time to get to know them they are genuinely kind or atleast i had that feeling the whole trip. From kind gestures to intrigue about self i felt you well taken care of. The island is beautiful and so serene , the humidity takes a little getting used to but its awesome afterwards and my skin felt blessed coming from a hot dry place to one that was more humid. There are so many activities to do i was literally spoiled for choice where that was concerned and the food was not lacking either. I recommend this experience for everyone should you be able to afford it and if not this is a reason to save.

Paradise. This property raises the bar on so many fronts - gorgeous, huge rooms; fantastic spa; amazing restaurants. And personal, yet unobtrusive attention from all the staff made this a very memorable stay.

Everything was great and wonderful - the beach, the sand, the service, the comfort, the luxury - unobtrusive but tangible, the cuisine - amazing, delicious, French, the kind ladies from the kids club took care of our child all day, our butler Ahmed, who is kind and efficient, Stephanie and Mirabelle - friendly and very good at their work and the management team that welcomed us with warmth and smiles and gave us attention, care and surprising gifts, unexpected and wonderful... a staff of professionals, extremely kind and perfect in their work . If there were just one word to describe a stay at Cheval Blanc Randheli (CBR), it could be “magical”. Tranquil opalescent waters; lush greenery; charming and knowledgeable professional staff; excellent spa, diving, yoga and fitness classes; superb French, Italian, Maldivian cuisine (and even hotpot!); daily deliveries of delicious confectioneries like Millefeuille and Palmiers. Thanks especially to majordome Saddam, dive master Petty, yoga master Yen, fitness trainer Roman, Culinary Director Chef Eric Vidal, Director of F&B Guillaume, and GM Laurent for a magical stay!

My journey to Cheval Blanc Randheli in the Maldives was a recommendation from Liya, my trusted butler for over three years. I was hesitant at first, but I'm glad I took her advice. This place is nothing short of outstanding, and the service is unparalleled. The luxury here is on a different level, surpassing even the likes of St. Regis Maldives by a good 30-40%. It's rather hard to encapsulate the experience in words. The real magic of Cheval Blanc lies in its ability to make you feel special. It's not something you can read about on Trip Advisor or any other review site. You have to visit to truly understand and appreciate the level of luxury and comfort offered here. Everything was near perfect and on on negatives there were very few and I'm deliberately magnifying the issue 100x. Having read through some Trip Advisor comments (3-4 star range) I would agree that the place might feel a bit cold initially. But everyone gradually warmed up by the 3-4th day and we felt like we were at home. I have also read a lot of positive comments about Sadeem, but I found Liya to be much more genuine, but then again, I might be biased as she has taken care of me past few years. Secondly, I stepped on glass shards in my room near the front entrance (*to-date I still have no idea how it happened, maybe the room wasn't vacuumed properly) but thankfully on-site doctor came in very quickly & medical facilities was superb. While it took two times (morning and late evening) to remove the shards, Cheval was very apologetic about it and offered complementary spa as well as an assortment of goodies. Overall, the resort is perfect for hosting functions and large events, with every detail meticulously taken care of. The service is exceptional and Cheval Blanc have set a high standard of service & luxury in the Maldives. I will come back 100%.

Horrible food except for Breakfast. Fake French luxury service where the locals Maldivians are mistreated. The resort is wonderful, the service is excellent yet fake. People are forced to greet you “bonjour” with a fake smile. There are 3-4 french people on the island who pop up and say hi to make it look like it is a French resort. The sushi was terrible, the 10 course meal was terrible, every single evening meal was terrible. The resort was the only memorable thing.

It is genuinely shocking for all of us on the island that you felt the locals were mistreated by having to say ‘Bonjour’ as the greeting. This has been a practice since our opening, and our local and foreign Ambassadors have embraced the combination of Maldivian and French culture, which has been rewarding for many years. And we have never received such feedback neither from our guests or our teams. Regarding the Food & Beverage experience, we understand that our concepts did not meet your expectations, which you also expressed to us during your stay. Again, we are surprised by your phrasing and how you describe your experience, as we typically do not receive such feedback on our Food & Beverage offerings which are generally praised by all our guests. Of course, we respect and value your preferences, and your suggestions have already been discussed with our Chef since your departure last year. We appreciate that you recognize the beauty of the island and, more importantly, the kindness of our Ambassadors, who are evidently happy to be here. i cannot give 5 stars to this resort because it isnt enough. this hotel is above any rating scale. if other good hotels get 5 points i would rate cheval blanc with 7.is it perfect? for me it truly is and i am always searching for weak points but i didnt find any. service perfect, rooms outstanding, staff much more friendly than i am and making the impression of being happy and fairly treated. food? excellent and the 1947 restaurant should be rated with michelin stars. visited kindergarden and never saw something like that, childrens eyes are shining and i would love to be a child again. a bad point? you get the bill at the end but for all you get the price is absolutely fair. ps: dont take a broom with you they have enough and cleanliness is all over

I've been asking my husband for a beach vacation for a bit and boy did he give me a fabulous Beach vacation! The Cheval Blanc Randheli is simply magnificent. Expensive and definitely worth it. So many things that make this place special. The Bungalows are beautifully appointed, on point decor, and HUGE! You have a huge living room, bedroom and a BIG closet. The bathroom area was luxurious, spacious, and the products/linens were high, high end. There is an additional bathroom for the pool that you can access from the deck. Look at the pictures on the website - the pool/deck/lounge areas are as large and amazing as they are presented. Enough about the room - however...... What makes this place stand out the most is the service/staff. Where ever you go you are greeted with smiles, kind words, offering of help. The various restaurants have great food AND the service just makes it that much better (great selections of wine as well - they are French you know!). We ended up going to one of the restaurants more often because the variety of the menu and that we always were able to be served by Rorain - a fabulous young lady who is A+++. She reserved our same table for us each night, knew our preferences (and never forgot). In fact, the entire staff must share notes because this was a theme where ever we went. Bravo! The most wonderful of all staff was our Majordome (aka butler) Hassin. He was assigned to us and was just the BEST. He made sure we had everything we needed, coordinated all of our events, and was simply "always there" in a pinch. Just a delightful person and VERY good at his post. I'd like to mention that the General Manager and the Restaurant Manager were always around, checking in on us and represented the property beautifully. Activities offered were fun. I had a private jet ski tour and he took me to a calm area where I could "let out some steam" and just gun it AND he took me to an area where I was surrounded by dolphins swimming in the ocean - What a memorable experience. He took many videos for me and sent to me for my "brag" time at home. You can check out Kayaks and row around, scuba dive, etc..... The "spa Island" is like heaven on Earth. Everything they promise in their catalog you get. So relaxing, luxurious, and absolutely beautiful surroundings. By the way, breakfast is included and it is the best offering I have ever experienced. So many choices (Maldivian, French, American, Indian, Chinese, Japanese breakfasts). I tried pretty much all of them and all delicious. The baked pastries were ridiculous - so beautiful and so good! I am blessed enough to travel a lot. I am blessed enough to go to some pretty darn amazing places - this place made a lasting and very huge impression on me (as you can tell by this review). If you want to experience something like no other.....try this place.
