We had the most fabulous honeymoon at the cheval blanc! Highly recommend! All of the staff (especially our majordome Saddam) were amazing. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay special. The service is Impeccable. The food was also wonderful. We are already plotting out other cheval Blancs to visit and can’t wait to return to this one!!! We loved it all!!
Our stay at Cheval Blanc Randheli Maldives was beyond expectations. From the moment you arrive, till the day of departure they treat you in the highest form of hospitality, as if you are part of their family. The food and accommodation were amazing, truly beyond expectations. The views of the ocean were incredible, as well as the spa treatments. What truly made our stay fantastic was the experience of the service of our Majordome, Saddam, and Yousef. They gave as exceptional service. They arranged everything within moments notice, and also recommended activities to be arranged for each day of our stay. Saddam and Yousef truly went above and beyond to satisfy our needs. They also gave us a wonderful, and comfortable time during our stay. I would recommend Cheval Blanc to everyone I know, and rate it a 10/10. If you are willing to have a wonderful vacation in Maldives, then Cheval Blanc Randheli is the resort to stay at.…
Totally amazing! It was our first trip to Maldives and this place was absolutely the best choice. The best paradise hotel in the world there is. Everything in Cheval Blanc Randheli was perfect: management, restaurants, fresh and tasty food (Breakfasts the best in the world👍👌), friendly and professional stuff, water sports. Villa was luxurious with fantastic view. Special thanks to our Majordome Saddam, he is superb. He took care of everything, superfast work (special thanks for extra coffee capsules;-)) We will come back.
We are luxury hotel junkies and are fortunate to have travelled in many of the most exceptional hotels and the rooms at Cheval Blanc compare nicely to our best hotel references. Our favorites so far being 2 bedrooms at Amangiri, the Brando, Awasi Patagonia, at One and Only Mandarina, &Beyond Sossusvlei or the 2 bedroom overwater vill at Waldorf Maldives, villa one at Soneva Fushi, 3 bedroom villa at Rosewood Mayakoba). What totally blew the competition away is the service (to the point that it was not even really comparable). The attention to details is mesmerizing. Just to speak of food, there are more chefs than there are rooms on the island, with exceptional chefs coming from all over the world. We love Thai and have eaten the best Thai food ever. Chef Remy is not only extremely personable and funny he also delivered incredible pastries across restaurants and the best croissant (Nutella and Praline) we have ever eaten. We also have very allergic children and the care of the team was incredible. Butlers typically care for 5-6 villas in the best resort in the Maldives, At Cheval Blanc its mostly 1-2 villas which lead to the best possible service and our own alchemist, Nasheed was exceptional, He was there when we needed him and vanished immediately after. Our only worry was that the hotel would be very upscale and that we would have to dress up but the atmosphere was instead very relaxed and the whole team extremely friendly. Our 12 year old son has a soccer jersey and was immediately invited to play soccer with the staff every evening. It is very hard to deliver this quality of service and deference whilst being as personable. After a week we were almost feeling like we had to leave family. Our go to place in the Maldives were the Soneva hotels and we are barefoot luxury aficionados but we ended up going to Gili Lankanfushi after this hotel and the difference in quality was nothing short of shocking and unfortunately depressing. For that whole stay we kept referring to the fact our only objective was to return to ‘la maison’. The hotel is also generous and continuously delivers small attentions. Our younger son has ADHD and so didn’t ever eat at breakfast as he had so many better things to do. In all other resorts it was a struggle to keep anything from breakfast. Here they would send all we wanted to the room for him to eat (and surprise goodies). My older son liked the Thai green curry. Well the Thai chef invited him to cook a great one for the family. And they were many more attentions (like a great cake after finishing the open water of our two children – they loved the diving center by the way). This was our twelfth trip to the Maldives and although the hotel was on the more expensive end of what we have typically paid for we all felt it overall delivered the best value, by far. Further, unlike hotel hotels who mostly invest once and then renovate when needed, it feels Cheval Blanc continuously invests to improve (a mini water park is coming at the kids club for instance) Laurent Chancel is running an unbelievable operation and we will certainly return. (And if he happens in the meantime to move to another hotel we will certainly visit it). The only risk of coming here is you’ll feal everything else will be a downgrade . We also hesitated in writing this review as we are concerned that at some point the hotel will become too popular and become hard to book. It was just that good. In one word: Merci!…
I have been to many luxury 5 star properties earlier, but after my recent trip to Cheval Blanc Randheli, I can say without any doubts in mind that this property has set a unmatchable statement in luxury. Each and everything in this property is so inviting and well thought of that you would want to go back again. The managing team (Laurent, Merelene & Sofia) were so welcoming and flexible for anything and everything we would ask for. Variety of cuisines is endless since they have chefs from around 20 countries. Really appreciate the services provided by Mohd. Saddam Hady & Ahmed Smah. They both are the gemstones of Cheval Blanc Randheli.
Amazing Experience ,specially the staff, cooks, GM, and our unique Buttler ( Saddam) who made us feel at home . The service was unique, very superior to other high end hotels. Lovely to end our HM like this. Wish to come back soon!
Best property we have ever visited. The location, physical plant, food, rooms, solitude … exceeded every expectation we could have dreamed of. From the personal “butler” who picks out suggested outfits at any one of the several fantastic restaurants, to the spacious villas with stare of the art technology/views/sizeable plunge pools to world class cuisine, a first rate dive shop, and a clientele that quietly enjoys the property without getting in each others’ way … general manager Laurent Chancel has built a tour de force. Every member of the staff operates as a seasoned pro. If you need anything, consider it done. This experience does not come inexpensively. The price tag is hefty and can add up in a hurry. But, in spite of this, we found there to be great value. You get what you pay for. And, in the case of CB Randheli, you are getting the very best in luxury hospitality.…
If you want some privacy and a good view - choose villa 31. It will offer you a miraculous view, private pool, Japanese dining place and two separate houses, you also get a personal beach. During your breakfast you will get a daily croissant made by french chef (a big one) Loads of delicious food (I recommend you to try avocado toast with a poach egg). Large kids club, stunning diving, great watersport activities
We stayed at Cheval Blanc Randheli for our honeymoon in September 2020. Our time there was splendid in every sense. The staff at the hotel made our stay unforgettable and makes us reminisce about the great time we had there. We would especially like to point out the extraordinary service by Sammy, who was more than just an employee, but more like a friend for us. We fondly remember a unique dinner set-up that he arranged for us one night at White as a surprise. Once again, thank you for one of the most amazing evenings of our lives! The only downside to us was, despite the incredible time that we spent at the resort, that it was starkly overpriced compared to other hotels in the Maldives.
Everything in the resort was amazing, literally everything!, starting from the arrival until the departure which includes the resort, villa, activities, restaurants, vibes and atmosphere. thanks for everyone working there for the hospitality, also they are so kind and friendly. Special thanks for HANA from Tunisia, our butler! She was amazing in everything, doing the service in a perfect way and into details! Kind, sweet and friendly Thank you cheval blanc!
