Best property we have ever visited. The location, physical plant, food, rooms, solitude … exceeded every expectation we could have dreamed of. From the personal “butler” who picks out suggested outfits at any one of the several fantastic restaurants, to the spacious villas with stare of the art technology/views/sizeable plunge pools to world class cuisine, a first rate dive shop, and a clientele that quietly enjoys the property without getting in each others’ way … general manager Laurent Chancel has built a tour de force. Every member of the staff operates as a seasoned pro. If you need anything, consider it done. This experience does not come inexpensively. The price tag is hefty and can add up in a hurry. But, in spite of this, we found there to be great value. You get what you pay for. And, in the case of CB Randheli, you are getting the very best in luxury hospitality.

If you want some privacy and a good view - choose villa 31. It will offer you a miraculous view, private pool, Japanese dining place and two separate houses, you also get a personal beach. During your breakfast you will get a daily croissant made by french chef (a big one) Loads of delicious food (I recommend you to try avocado toast with a poach egg). Large kids club, stunning diving, great watersport activities

We stayed at Cheval Blanc Randheli for our honeymoon in September 2020. Our time there was splendid in every sense. The staff at the hotel made our stay unforgettable and makes us reminisce about the great time we had there. We would especially like to point out the extraordinary service by Sammy, who was more than just an employee, but more like a friend for us. We fondly remember a unique dinner set-up that he arranged for us one night at White as a surprise. Once again, thank you for one of the most amazing evenings of our lives! The only downside to us was, despite the incredible time that we spent at the resort, that it was starkly overpriced compared to other hotels in the Maldives.

Everything in the resort was amazing, literally everything!, starting from the arrival until the departure which includes the resort, villa, activities, restaurants, vibes and atmosphere. thanks for everyone working there for the hospitality, also they are so kind and friendly. We had been already to this resort and loved it. We went back with the same great expectations and were not disappointed, everything is flawless. The room are great, the food is exquisite, especially the pastries which are out of this world, and the service. All the staff from Management to the lowest level is nice, and efficient. We enjoyed the luxury and felt at home, cool and casual. Of course we can only recommend this resort, especially after having visited many other resorts in the Maldives

We have been to the Maldives about 6 times so far and stayed at some of the best resorts the Maldives have to offer. This time we stayed at the Cheval Blanc for 4 nights and it was by far the best experience we had on the Maldives. It is uniquely set on several islands that are connected by small bridges. Only for the amazing SPA island you need to take a 2 minute boat trip. The villas are huge and so beautifully furnished and decorated. The bed is super comfortable and the views from the beach villas over the privates pools are breathtaking. All the rooms are in superb shape…looks like it just opened this year! The restaurants offer a wide variety of food from Italian to local to Japanese food. The prices for food & beverages… as everywhere in 5 star hotels on the Maldives is high but much better then on some other resorts we stayed at. The breakfast is out of this world and best of it all is the service! Laurent Chancel is the General Manager and I have never seen someone trying so much to make his guest feel at home and feel special! He has a real gift of surrounding him with a stunning group of staff that make you feel very special! It’s top 5 star without all the fuss of needing to dress up for dinner. You can come as you are and in whatever way you feel comfortable. To us its the best resort in the Maldives and thus I can only recommend it! We will be back

I dare to say it might be the best hotel in the world. I have mentioned on my review of CB Paris that nowadays this is my favorite hotel brand. They always know how to positively surprise us, even repeat guests. Service and the sensation of privacy are perfect, one never knows if they are full to capacity or half full. Congratulations to the entire team and we are looking forward to our next and third visit.

We have traveled extensively across Asia, Europe, North and South America and have stayed at many luxury resorts. After nearly a year and a half without any International travel, we booked Cheval Blanc Randheli for 7 nights as part of our 2-week honeymoon in the Maldives. This is hands down the best resort we have ever stayed at and I would argue that it is best in the world. We have stayed at several resorts that have been ranked and awarded as such and they pale in comparison to CB. The rooms are expansive, luxurious, and offer a full length swimming pool (not the plunge pools you find in most "pool suites"). We had the opportunity to stay in both an Island Villa (which offers essentially a private beach experience) as well as a Water Villa (a must-do while in the Maldives with great snorkeling right off of your room) and we would absolutely recommend experiencing both. Housekeeping and turn-down service is pristine and discrete. Never once did we come back to the room to find housekeeping part-way through - something that seems to always happen at least once at other resorts which often results in you waiting to access your room or quickly running in to grab something. The resort offers many dining concepts allowing for variety over a week's vacation where as we often leave other island resorts feeling sick of the food on offering. All are good and many are excellent. The breakfast is the best we have ever had. We started each day with a green juice and then perused the a la carte menu which offers everything from authentic french pastries to locally inspired dishes, clean and healthy to rich and indulgent. Our favorite dinners were at Le Diptyque and the Maldivian Night. We also enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere of White Bar where a live DJ plays each evening. Food, cocktails, and wine is expensive, but not out of line with fine dining elsewhere in the world and certainly fair relative to other resorts in the Maldives. We enjoyed several of the fitness and yoga classes on offer, a paddleboard each morning, a kayak around all of the islands, beach volleyball, and plenty of snorkeling. We visited the spa on three separate occasions and were always pleased with the services and had the opportunity to enjoy a sunset cruise which was thoughtfully scheduled according to the weather forecast to allow for the clearest skies and most pleasant experience. We spent just one day at the resort pool because it is difficult to justify leaving your room but would recommend enjoying some time there which offers an extensive rose list and fantastic cabana service. As such, the location, amenities, activities, and dining are flawless and there are many little details that are taken care of without you even noticing (eg. you will not spot one mosquito or bug on the entire island because it is sprayed each day) but what really sets CB apart from many other 6-star resorts is the service. Management is present each day to ensure you are beyond happy, each team member seems to have studied your pre-arrival questionnaire and adjusts each experience to your likes and preferences (think offering your favorite cocktails to begin dinner and automatically keeping cilantro off any dishes you ordered), and the Marjodome (butler) service is absolutely unparalleled. We were fortunate to be assigned Gasim as our Marjodome who ensured every moment of our stay was perfect. We never had to ask for a thing - he had already anticipated it. He was present but never intrusive, thoughtful, exceptionally hard-working, and always responsive within mere seconds at any time of the day. Cheval Blanc Randheli offers the highest-end service possible without being pretentious or snobby. Finding this balance is challenging in the luxury resort segment and Laurent and team have nailed it perfectly. Before this trip, we considered the Maldives a once-in-a-lifetime vacation. But after visiting CBR, we can't possibly not go back. The experience is a splurge and expensive, that is for certain. But the value is unmatched. Do not hesitate - book this resort and prepare to never be satisfied elsewhere again.

My partner and I truly had an amazing, memorable and relaxing time. From the arrival at the island with being so warmly welcomed and greeted, to the delicious and exquisite choice of food, to the magnificent and spacious villa with the beautiful pool and beach, to the extremely attentive, discreet and friendly hotel staff with their guest-first attitude. Nothing seemed too much to ask, all staff listened and noted all of our wishes and knew our name. They made us truly feel welcomed, looked after and in the best hands. Housekeeping was exceptional - we never once saw anyone but every day upon returning to our room, it looked immaculate, very clean and there was always a homely feeling and sense of fulfillment left in the air. We very much appreciated the time the F&B manager took by showing us the kitchen to see the chefs prepare the amazing food. You took everything off our shoulders, which allowed us to completely switch off, relax, leave all the stresses of life behind and just revel in the beauty and perfection of the resort. We await with great pleasure the day we will return to this special place!
