We booked 2 nights in August as part of a week-long trip through Northern Spain. At Alquezar we planned to do a full day of canyoning for the first time with our 2 younger kids (7 and 11) and explore the town. Needless to say Alquezar is beautiful and well worth a visit (and an overnight at least). Eva helped... More

This place is truly wonderful, beautifully decorated, spacious, clean, very quiet and comfortable. We stayed in the Juncal room which had a spiral staircase to the gorgeous upstairs bathroom area and downstairs you have the bedroom with a large balcony with amazing views of the beautiful village of Alquezar. When you arrive you choose a time between 8:30 and 9:30... More

Alquézar is well worth a visit if you’re looking for an old, atmospheric and very beautiful Spanish mountain village. The surrounding area attracts with the great nature and mountain hikes ( as wells a canyoning ) Alodia is the place to stay in Alquézar! The rooms at Alodia are excellent, cosy and perfectly maintained. Alodia is situated in the centre... More

Thank you so much on behalf of all the people involved in making your stay special. It has been a pleasure for us! My first connection with Eva at Alodia via email was fantastic. She was very friendly and replied promptly and answered all my questions. She sent detailed instructions on how to get there and where to park. We arrived in Alquezar to a young lady with a very big smile. She didn't speak English so she went and got someone who... More

Alquezar is a very nice village - truly a hidden gem. We visited this village on our trip from San Sebastian to Sitges and unfortunately only stayed for one night. Should have stayed longer. Alodia is a fantastic place. Very clean, very personal, superb rooms and views. Pricing also very reasonable, could argue being cheap. We had two rooms, both... More

Alquezar is a beautiful mountain top village and very attractive to tourists, but still well worth visiting. Accommodation etc. is therefore just a bit more expensive than many places in Spain. The room we had was delightful with a theme of distressed wooden decoration. It was a good size and there was a bathroom with separate toilet and separate shower.... More

We enjoyed a 2 night stay at Alodia in the jaw dropping village of Alquézar. If you want clean, characterful accommodation with friendly service and a great freshly prepared breakfast then you will not go wrong with this lovely building. If you have never visited Alquézar then go!

Husband, daughter and I stayed in the encina suite. It was fabulous. The room has a single bed, sitting area, bathroom and terrace when you first walk in. Up a spiral staircase in the loft area is the most comfortable king size bed I've slept on in Europe. If you have trouble with stairs, this is not the place for... More

We stayed at this hotel for two days in rooms with a terrace, with a spectacular view of the medieval town. The rooms had a tasteful European decor, and the breakfast was also amazing, served with great hospitality. Apparently the town is very busy on weekends but we were there on weekdays and liked the more quiet atmosphere, close to... More

From the moment we walked into Casa Alodia, we were in awe. My wife and I came to Alquezar for a stop on our honeymoon. For once, we decided to not use 'Lonely Planet' to find a place to stay, finding Casa Alodia on another website. We're so glad we did. The pictures are great but don't do it justice.... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Casa Alodia consists of two buildings. In the building located on San Gregorio Street, you will find olivo (olive tree) and almendro (almond tree), ideal for two couples or a family with children. The rooms are decorated with alabaster windows, unpolished marble floors... The same style applies for the four rooms in the Arrabal Street building: boj (box), madrono (strawberry Tree), juncal (reed bed), and encina (oak), these last two with a terrace. Every detail in Alodia is inspired by the trees that the rooms are named after, with handcrafted touches. ... more   less
