We had our most pleasant stay in Spain. Alquezar is a very special place and Casa Alodia is just cherry on ice. Our rooms were tastefully decorated, very clean and comfortable. The service was great and breakfast was very good. We are very grateful for their hospitality and we are definitely looking forward to going there again.

Stunning! The views, the room, the decor, the food, the area. I can honestly say that this place amazed us. We paid 30 extra for a superior room - this gives a sweeping view of the entire village and surrounding hills/forests. The breakfast is charming - we had it brought to our room so we could sit on our terrace... More

We are on a 16 night driving trip including Sitges, Girona, Alquezar, Laguardia, San Sebastian and Madrid. We needed a halfway one night stay between Girona and Laguardia and Alquezar was the perfect stop. Upon arrival into town we had a lovely lunch overlooking the town at Meson del Vero and our wonderful waiter escorted us up to Casa Alodia... More

We stayed 2 nights in Alodia, in a room on the 2ed floor with a balcony viewing the castle. The view leave you speechless. We stayed in the Olivo suite the night of August 20, 2015, as a one-night stopover on our drive between San Sebastián and Barcelona. It was a night and an experience I will never forget. Fortunately, a Spanish colleague recommended Casa Alodia and the town of Alquezar. I'm so thankful to him or I might otherwise not have found this... More

Just spent one evening here and wish it could be more. Called Maria before arriving in village and Silvana and Jose met us at the door. You must follow Maria's directions as you cannot drive in the city. The parking area is very close to the hotel, so was no problem. We were offered an upgrade to the Juncal room... More

We stayed for four nights in the Juncal (reed themed) top storey room. It was the perfect location with a room full of character and a large bathroom in the loft area with access via a lovely spiral staircase. There were amazing views over the village with the ever-present birdlife whizzing by including house martins and swallows with vultures circling... More

This hotel is outstanding. Like many others, we stayed in Juncal suite and the view from the balcony was breathtaking. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we could possibly need and brought breakfast to our room each morning which we ate on the balcony taking in the serenity of our surroundings. The suite... More

This place is absolutely amazing! We had a suite on the top floor, with the most beautiful view over Alquezar and its surroundings. The suite was so gorgeous, with a spacious and lovely shower, great bed, lots of space, nice furniture... and breakfast, OMG... served in the room, plated so beautifully, tasting amazing! We cannot think of anything we would... More
