Francesco the owner was very helpful and a great source of info about places to see and things to do around Pizzo. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. There were only two small negative aspects. The breakfast served was sub par consisting on some mornings of stale cake. Also a tour driver hired through Francesco spoke no English. I... More

Location good. Many restaurants and activities close. Difficult to find this property. Get Fransesco's mobile before visiting as he or his staff is not staying at this property. Parking also a problem if travelling by car. Building from outside looks terrible but inside is perfectly and modern renovated. Will stay here again.

What can I say? We arrived at the B&B Murat after hours and hours of being stuck at the Airport in Calabria. Alitalia Airlines happened to have a work stoppage on the day we landed in Rome. That's where our luggage stayed. We ended up spending our entire stay at B&B Murat without our luggage. Francesco, the proprietor of B&B... More

Francesco is an excellent host having only acquired the property a year ago. Our room had a beautiful view of the castle and sea. Although it is not a B & B property by American standards everything was within close walking distance. The gelaterias were wonderful! For those of you that don't know, Francesco is also a travel agent and... More

First the positive stuff; good room with a fabulous view, in an unsurpassed position, round the corner from where it all happens in Pizzo in the evenings. Virtually impossible to find however, and parking difficult. We are old hands at Italian hill towns and the like but Pizzo had us well baffled and we would not have found the place... More

Francesco picked us up from train. Wonderful friendly helpful person! Many thanks Julia and anthony Schiavone The people in all the town made our trip so special. Molto simpatico! Great beach. Hopping town at night. Close to other nice towns as well by train.

We feel lucky to have found this place. Right by the city plaza with 14 gelaterias, next to the castle, overlooking the water, and connected to the restaurant Murat. We had a cooking class with Catarina complete with a translator.

We have stayed at the Murat on 4 occasions now and every time it is a warm welcome, clean room and excellent value. The rooms have a view of the Sea and the Castle. Really feels like Italy should; friendly, warm and welcoming. The coffee and Creme Cornets in the morning for Breakfast aren't bad either!
