Simply amazing. Better than the photos. Paradise. They also sweep the sand across the island. Everyone is friendly. Plenty of variety for food. Stunning views from the water bungalow. Somewhere to escape to.

We visited a few years ago now, but never got around to reviewing. It was brilliant for snorkelling, with trips to local reefs being well worthwhile if you can. We didn't even realise there was a house reef until our last couple of days, which I wish we'd known sooner as it was wonderful. The food was lovely and all... More

Arriving by seaplane was a bonus as you get to see some amazing atolls on route. The welcome was nice but after such a long and tiring journey it would have been nice to go straight to our room, then have the welcome talk after breakfast the next morning. This hotel is in transition and is trying very hard to... More

Visited Cinnamon Hakurra Huraa from April 10-17 2016. First thoughts was as i expected. Just beautiful. Flew with Oman air from Heathrow and had a stop off in muscat. Not the greatest airline so avoid them if you can. As soon as we landed in Male we had to get a seaplane to our hotel. This was an additional 2... More

Hakuraa Huraa was the best holiday I have ever been on. We were welcomed very warmly and the staff were lovely. The beaches were beautiful and I especially enjoyed seeing so much marine wildlife. I would like to especially thank my guide from the morning snorkelling trip who took the time to show me the reef and it's wonderful fish.... More

Really difficult to add much to the previous reviews... But will try!! My bedroom sat over the water with a glass panel set in the floor through which I could watch the fish swim by every day. The room had a balcony which had a ladder into the sea. A very private balcony on which you good sun bathe. The... More

We have returned from our ninth visit to this wonderful place. Never have we come across staff like there are at Hakura. Everybody is there to make you feel welcome and valued and the surroundings are beautiful. Having dinner on a white beach with the waves lapping at your feet is amazing. Love the diving too - I dive all... More

We returned to Hakura after 12 years where we spent our honeymoon. We were worried that our memories would not be matched, but boy were we wrong! The changes they have made have made it better, but they have still managed to keep the rustic island feel. If you like polished floors, marble and shinny vaneers then this island is... More

We spent a week here in 2003. The rooms are very nice and the view from your private deck is beautiful. We came only for the diving and were a little bit disappointed that the afternoon dives where in very shallow water with bad visibility. The food was great, the beach really white and the baby sharks made me happy... More
