We arrived to this amazing resort after a short Yacth trip and we were amazingly welcomed by all the Staff committee from all the departments. During our long stay at an amazing beach villa perfect for our daughter to enjoy playing on the sand and jump in the pool. Food is amazing from the buffets, to a la carte menu, to the fine dining at Aragu amazing dining by sea set up and Tavaru Tower with an amazing 360 degree view of the island with an exquisite wine cellar. Thank you Nazira our amazing Butler for all the patience and attention to detail. Azim and Kalzhan for your amazing team work making sure everything was perfect to us. you are probably the best butlers I've seen working in the Maldives. Roka recreation manager always making sure we were busy and fit along with an extraordinary Kids club, fitness and watersports with great professionals. To the gardening team for their amazing kindness work ethic and respect makinng sure everything is neat and spotless. Vela has probably some of the most beautiful gardens in the Maldives. Was probably one of the best vacations of our lives thank you for everything. A special thank you to Michal General Manager who always make sure everything runs in perfection.

Velaa was built and is run with such high ambitions. The buildings are subtle and totally wonderful, the staff could not be nicer at every turn (and indeed present at every turn) and then the food is utterly outstanding. We had to remind ourselves this is not a hotel in a major city but on a tiny island. Everything being orchestrated by the delightful Muiz as butler-concierge. He showed us what we could do so gently and thoroughly as well as just made it all fall into place. Spa, restaurants, snorkelling and diving, gym, lunches and dinners in various locations - all slick, restful, quiet, indulgent and personal. All the staff from arrival to departure, from morning to night could not be nicer and more professional. Did I mention the food ? With cuisines from across the globe available at such truly high levels of quality and choices that just suit everyone so brilliantly. Hat's off to one of the world's great resorts. Other guests simply didn't intrude and on the occasion one talked to others there from many parts of the world they were all so relaxed and easy. Proof that you can get what you pay for in this world !

How a pleasure was to come again to the Maldives, in a particularly difficult situation with COVID-19! We had a trip with my husband in mid-January 2021. We chose the hotel for a long time, but decided to stay at the boutique hotel Velaa Private island and we were right. We want to share with others our impressions of the hotel and service: Premium hotel like the paradise on the Earth!!! The hotel staff has always been friendly and helpful, wherever we were. Service, food, entertainments - all at the highest level. The restaurants are not only beautiful in design, but with tasty cuisine. At the SPA of the hotel the guests can choose a wide range of methods of healing the whole body with Asian techniques. The center has a SPA boutique, which sells quality cosmetics. Guests who do not like to relax all the time also have what to do: it is fitness with instructors, modern gym equipment, golf, fishing, yoga, tennis, diving and much more, which we even had no time to try. You definitely won't have to be bored. Also a special respect to our beautiful Butler Zoda, for her attention and care. Very sensitive, friendly, and a good girl! She is a professional. She controlled absolutely everything and responded immediately to any of our requests and all the time helped us. Sometimes it seemed that she could "read our minds." It was very nice! Such employee, as Zoda is really a treasure for the hotel management!!! Memories from our holidays remained wonderful! This is one of our best vacations in the Maldives. Thank you to the hotel and its team that made our stay comfortable and unforgettable! We do not like to rest in the same place twice, but we would be very glad to return to the Velaa Island Hotel again.

The hotel is simply stunning and modern. No detail is small enough or overlooked.
The hotel is pricey and welcomes some of the most exclusive and demanding guests in the World. And they deliver with the service and facilities you would expect from such a high-end property.
The glassware, silverware, linens, pillows, soaps and everything else is truly outstanding and from World renowned brands.
The Butlers are always available and eager to please and service throughout was excellent. The SPA and restaurants were top notch, as were the gadgets and service provided at the Water Sports and the yatch quality was flawless.
If you are looking for true luxury this is your place!

This was our first time in Maldives, but having travelled extensively around the world, I was surprised at the level of service this hotel provides!
Our butler, Nazira, was everywhere and nowhere simultaneously. Everything was thought through for us well before it occurred to us, small details were carefully considered and any messages replied instantly. Permanent smile and a huge desire to make our every day special is something our live-in nanny can learn from:).
As a result, the hotel itself feels more of a home due to the attention and care one receives. From the restaurant to the jewellery shop and spa, I have not felt once an attempt to “up-sell”, typical to these luxury resorts. The kids club girls could not be more welcoming and entertaining.
On the day of our departure, it was our son’s birthday. Out butler has organised a lovely cake, balloons and most importantly, a flying sign “Happy Birthday” next to our boat. Even our 15yo was impressed🎉.

I would like to thank Salim from the reservations department and his team for having accommodated a last-minute request to deliver flowers to guests staying in the hotel. There were no more flights from Male that day to bring in flowers and instead of saying there’s nothing that could be done, Salim and his team went the extra mile to source the flowers locally. They made a breathtaking bouquet and seamlessly planned its delivery so that it would be a surprise.

Maldives is a place we have longed for a long time but spending our 10th yr anniversary at Velaa Private Island was more than we dreamt. The hospitality was the amazing, I mean, where else will you have your table wiped at every drop from of water or spill from your food while eating at one of the restaurants (Tavaru). Our butler was truly a call away at "any time". They even had a pillow menu to choose the type of pillow you want when the down pillow they had was already dreamy. They were very thoughtful and had an amazing surprise for us well decorated with flowers, champagne and their well wishes for us. We absolutely loved our experience there and we look forward to our next visit at one of their beach houses with our kids.

Thank you for the warm welcome and all the service the Velaa team provided. we stayed in Velaa villa 26 from 1st October til 8th October. I returned to Taiwan on the 9th.
Today, all the conversation with my wife is all the memories we had in Velaa, which makes us feel unforgettable. We deeply feel the detailed care and consideration from the Velaa team, especially in the service of the restaurant, and the piano performance played by MAXIM, which makes us delighted, and the water spots center as well. The diving guidance of divers makes me see the underwater world I yearn for. Of course, Velaa has too many good advantages, and there is no way to thank you one by one. Of course, the first one we want to appreciate is our butler Ali, who is arranging all of our things from morning to night
Moreover, I want to Thank Ali, Rose, RokKA, Pai, and Maxim once again. And there are many people who I can't remember their names but work hard behind. We plan to return to Velaa from 2023 sep.~oct. Hope to See you soon and Thank you very much.

Where to begin. Velaa hits the mark and ticks every 📦 the butlers are amazing (we had Muis) , the rooms are so well done with incredible amenities. There are so many water sports if you stayed a fortnight you’d still have new toys to play with. Food is glorious, wine cellar impeccable!
