A comfortable hotel, informal country-house style. The staff were charming, obliging and friendly. The room warm and clean with a huge bed and adequate storage for clothes; the white-tiled bathroom immaculate. Breakfast was as generous as you wanted, with a range of dishes and options. The food at dinner was pretty straightforward, much of it tasty and neatly served. Once,...

The whole experience was fantastic.. The building inside and out was great. The food was amazing. The room was very nice and the staff were perfect, very friendly, chatty and totally made our time special. I would definitely go again and recommend to friends. Thank you x

Stayed one nice - exceeded our expectations. The food was very good and service was very friendly. It's a shame there weren't more people dining here as it really needs (and deserves) to get more custom.

Eat here about 3 years ago with friends one of whom had a birthday party here on 8th November. We had visied the hotel on 6th September to book our room for the 8th November. A run of my debit card was taken and we were told the price would be £100 to include breakfast. On arriving on 8th November...

We have just returned from a two night break at the Stower Grange. Our room was called Thyme and in the attic with our own staircase - it was absolutely delightful. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to help. We ate here on our second night and the meal was one of the best meals we had eaten,...

Amazing little find with only 2 days before arriving. The two of us were staying here for just one night, we were met in car park by the hotel manager who welcomed us by name, we were given the choice of two rooms and we decided on the attic room. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, taxis were...

Undoubtedly one of the best hotels where I have the pleasure to stay. No aspect fell short of excellent. The proprietor is friendly but really knows his onions - he sets the tone of courtesy, efficiency, cleanliness and humour. We will be back. The food was excellent too.

We stayed at this family hotel with our dog for 4 nights. Without exception the management and staff were always cheerful and couldn't do enough to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. Our room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Food is generally locally produced and the breakfasts were most enjoyable and the evening menu was varied and all meals...

A very nice and comfortable hotel where you will be made most welcome and served with diligence and a smile. We did not have dinner here but, if the breakfast is any indicator, I am sure the meal would have been well prepared from the best quality ingredients and served just how you would like. The décor in the hotel...
