Very authentic and very quiet guesthouse in the lush oasis village of Tighmert. Rooms are simple but very clean. The food was really good and we were able to learn how to prepare and serve Whiskey Berbère while three men were playing traditional music. If you want to get away from all the hustle and bustle that comes with life,... More

We arrived at Maison d'Hotes Nomades without any booking. Brahim was extremely welcoming and friendly - making us tea and snacks and showing us a choice of rooms available for our stay. The rooms are nicely furnished with full ensuite facilities - the hot shower very welcome after a day's cycling in the desert. There is a choice of places... More

It's actually more of a guest house than a hotel (maison d'hotes). It's situated in the largest oasis of the area, near the Sahara desert. It consists of multiple buildings, connected by gardens full of palm trees and pomgranate trees. The room we had was very basic, but looked authentic. It had it's own entrance from the garden. Clay walls,... More

A warm welcome from the host and good food with a variety of choices made our stay one of the best during our two weeks in Morocco. We were there during a cold spell of weather but we were comfortably warm during the cold nights. We liked the traditional buildings and there were goats etc in a yard next to... More

We stayed here for one night in early April. Although from the tarmac road the oasis does not appear too exciting, once you follow the winding dirt road down towards Nomades, it becomes more and more beautiful and peaceful. Brahim and his family were helpful and friendly hosts, who cooked excellent meals at a very reasonable price. The mudbrick buildings... More

great place to spend some days to relax or explore the desert. very hospitable people and good food. the traditional building located deep in a nice oasis has a very exotic atmosphere and the road up to the guesthouse is an attraction by itself.

Second time we stay in the place. It was friendly and still is. Two more rooms have been added with all commodities. The environment is better than ever, nice palm tress all around, nice and pleasant owner, very helpful, very affordable, very good dinner. Beautiful palm grove to visit.

Finding the guest house can be a challenge- look out for the sign on the road south between Guelmim and Assa then keep following the arrows- don't give up hope that you will find as you go deeper into the oasis. I loved Braim Taharo's guest house. He is a rare creature, an hotelier who is determined to make his... More

I got invited by my friend to the Oasis. It was a great surprise. From all point of views... Brahim, the owner, is really taking care of your needs and really make sure that you have everything you need. You are living in a small paradise, quiet, warm, relaxed atmosphere. You can stay there all day, under the Nomad tent... More
