We stayed at the hotel the night before we hiked to Preikestolen, which is a short drive away. My wife and I found this to be a quiet hotel, a little off the beaten path on close to the water. The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our room was a bit on the small side with no extra... More

If you wanna visit preikestolen this is the hotel to stay for some nights. The staff is very friendly and the rooms were always clean. The chef is an awesome cook!! Don't eat fastfood eat at the hotel, all of us can really recommend this to you. In the morning at the breakfast there are somethings out but they are... More

Really not so bad. Clean rooms. Very simple. No resaurants in this village, so we ate at the chinese restaurant nearby. Avoid at all cost. €40 p.p., and really terrible... Back to the hotel: Soap dispensers in Shower, no coffee in room. Breakfast available but... Way overpriced. Only reason to stay is a trip to a rock nearby, we skipped... More

Super friendly reception desk and wonderful dinner!! This hotel was exactly what we needed after kjerag tracking. The only weak point was the tine room without space for hanging clothes. But it was OK for one night stay. Free Parking just outside the hotel.

This is a very nice hotel with very friendly staff. We had the luxury twin/double room which is recommandable: on a corner of the building, lots of light and fresh air through the windows. Room 203! The breakfast was very nice with lots of things to choose from. The restaurant serves good quality food but with only a few meals... More

Positives: Terrific staff. We were reaching the hotel at 2 am from Oslo, and they helped us with the ferry timing on the phone, as well as someone was around to help us check-in at the late hour. Location is a big plus: 10 mins from start of the Pulpit rock hike. Breakfast is good, and the staff is happy... More

Nice and friendly welcome on arrival. Good advice on how to avoid the crowds while visiting the Pulpit. Nice clean room with good beds. I five course meny for dinner with good traditional food. We had Baccalao which were pefect for our tast. Plentiful breakfast, lunch pack for a reasonable extra.

All that you can read here is truth. The room was quite small, however I really think it's not so terrible like some people say. It's quite cozy and charming. Very nice choice to Preikestolen hikking.

During summer time, this hotel is perfectly located for a Preikestolen hike. Particularly if you got several hours to drive, why take the stress to drive to Preikestolen early just to arrive when it is already crowded? Sleep a night here before and probably also after and it will be a relaxing experience. The drive to the Preikestolen parking lot... More

US$169 for a room that was only slightly bigger than the double bed that it contained. The en-suite bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. The only amenities provided are soap and towels ; not even a simple plastic cup in the bathroom. No TV so bring an iPad. Breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly. Nice... More
