We first went for a haik to Moslifjell and afterwards had a dinner at the restaurant. First we shared a chicken sandwich and afterwards had this lovely lammeskank (lamb knuckle). Beautifully arranged, lovely taste! The meal was finalised with home made Snickers-cake and vanilla ice cream. So lovely- so recommendable!

This place is situated in the very heart of Preikestolen area hikers. You cna choose several routes from here from which the famous is to Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen). It is situated about 40-60 minutes to Preikestolen. Final parking for the cars and buses getting to famous rock is just in the property of the hotel Stuff is friendly and in...

My 25 year-old daughter and I hike it, with a guide from Outdoor Life Norway (highly recommended). The hike itself, using the common route, is very doable if you are fit. The 'standard' route takes about 2 hours and is full of charming families and couples hiking. We wanted a longer and more remote hike. OutdoorLife took on a far...

A trek up Pulpit rock is not complete without a stay in the lodge below. The food, hospitality and lake view was definitely something not to miss. Very comfortable stay, lovely food, and great place to hand your boots after a long day of trekking the hills. There is an option to go kayaking in the lake below, or just...

Hi Thank you for the great review. Have a Nice Christmas :)

We didn't stay here but we wish we had! It's located right at the start of the trail to Pulpit Rock. The lodge is beautiful and has just the right amenities. Rather than starting the day with a ferry-bus-taxi journey from Stavanger, this would be a great place to check in for a night before starting the hike. Even if...

Rock is worth a visit but make sure you have hiking heavy shoes, rain coat, good condition and be careful: slippery parts. When snow only experienced Norwegians..A stick/can may help. Not for people with handicaps or poor condition or heart problems.. I did it but would think twice about again, but then if you are a regular walker or cyclist...

We stay there for 3D2N to hike the Pulpit rock. The place is amazing and suit for different type of people. We initially book the Twin room Ensuite but due to some people complaint about bedbug which the Hotel email to inform us, we stay in the Twin room Shared Bathroom instead. There are a number of building that house...

We stayed in one of the rooms in The Mountain Lodge. Stunning location! The view is just beautiful. It's located near the foot of where the hike starts, and faces the Revsvatnet lake. They have a "recreation room" with books, board games, toys, etc. As well as a souvenir shop selling mugs and t-shirts with the accommodation's logo, magnets, postcards,...

Preikestolen Fjellstue was the second accommodation I stayed in during my trip to Norway. My friend and I booked a small 2-bed room, located on the ground floor of the hostel. To be honest, I was a bit deflated when I saw the room because the space was limited which I believe only one person at a time can move...

Visited this mountain restaurant and hotel. The menu is very short (often only 4 choices), but the quality is world class! Had deer one day and fish dish last night. Don't get confused. This is a great place! Highly recommended!
