We didn't stay here but we wish we had! It's located right at the start of the trail to Pulpit Rock. The lodge is beautiful and has just the right amenities. Rather than starting the day with a ferry-bus-taxi journey from Stavanger, this would be a great place to check in for a night before starting the hike. Even if...

Rock is worth a visit but make sure you have hiking heavy shoes, rain coat, good condition and be careful: slippery parts. When snow only experienced Norwegians..A stick/can may help. Not for people with handicaps or poor condition or heart problems.. I did it but would think twice about again, but then if you are a regular walker or cyclist...

We stay there for 3D2N to hike the Pulpit rock. The place is amazing and suit for different type of people. We initially book the Twin room Ensuite but due to some people complaint about bedbug which the Hotel email to inform us, we stay in the Twin room Shared Bathroom instead. There are a number of building that house...

We stayed in one of the rooms in The Mountain Lodge. Stunning location! The view is just beautiful. It's located near the foot of where the hike starts, and faces the Revsvatnet lake. They have a "recreation room" with books, board games, toys, etc. As well as a souvenir shop selling mugs and t-shirts with the accommodation's logo, magnets, postcards,...

Preikestolen Fjellstue was the second accommodation I stayed in during my trip to Norway. My friend and I booked a small 2-bed room, located on the ground floor of the hostel. To be honest, I was a bit deflated when I saw the room because the space was limited which I believe only one person at a time can move...

Visited this mountain restaurant and hotel. The menu is very short (often only 4 choices), but the quality is world class! Had deer one day and fish dish last night. Don't get confused. This is a great place! Highly recommended!

Here you can get different types of accommodation. We chose the cheapest option, a small room with bunk beds. That’s all you get in the room apart from a window that can be opened, heating and a small sink. Toilets and shower are to be shared, very clean though. Sufficient if you are only here to stay overnight for your...

This hotel has two great points for its superb view and convenient base for walking to pupit rock. But it is quite pricey given its simple beds and small room. We however love its stunning lake view and you will see an unforgettable scene in the morning when the golden sunlight shines on the lake water. Also if you stay...

If you try Trolltunga first that will be a piece of cake for you 😉quite easy hike. We saw 1 person with crutches that did it with a help of the friends (fair play to the guy) beautiful views. 3-4 hrs needed for climbing. There are difficult parts but mainly its really easy. If you have time to climb higher...

If you want a place with a view and a warm comfy place to rest - this is it. We stayed 1 night before hiking up Preikestolen, which is just outside the lodge. Parking for day of the hike and a full buffet breakfast was included. Reception very helpful and rooms very clean and warm! Bathroom slate floor was heated...
