Maritim Fjordhotell was built in 1980 beside the river that divides Flekkefjord in two. Here you`ll find tranquil refuge in any weatherer, be it summer, autumn, winter or spring. The hotel is a central part of the town landscape and the ideal choice for either buisness or pleasure. The local shopping mall and chaming pedestrian street are only a short walk away. Within a few minutes you`ll experience the small-town charm of old buildings, narrow streets, shops, coffee houses and restaurants. Maritim Fjordhotell frequently hosts conferences and seminars, and will step up that activity in the future. With our modern and multipurposefacilities, we do our utmost to ensure the success of any seminar or conference. The hotel has well appointed conference rooms seating up to 120 persons auditorium style or 80 classroom style. Our conference host is happy to provide other seating arrangements as well. From Maritim Fjordhotell you can stroll down to the old, charming town section Hollenderbyen, with its well perserved small buildings and old boathouses. Not all towns can boast a star in the famous Michelin Guide, like the one Flekkefjord got as "One of the most charming white villages of the green coast

Just arrived after a mostly rainy ride on the bike from Stavanger. Normally the check in was at 15:00 but I arrived early at 12:00. It was a welcome surprise that my room was ready. Thanks for that and the coming 3 nights I found my stay. Location is supurb and the old town as well! When visiting the Southern part of Norway this is a hotel I can advise!

We chosed this hotel because they listed themselves as dog friendly. However it turned out that only one room is dog friendly, i.e you might have to reserve long In advance. The room is a very basic standard rein bed room. It faces the parking lot snd is unfortunately next to the fans of the hotels ventilation. When travelling with a dog, younoften want an open widow, here however the noise from the ventilation was very annoying Dog fee NOK 200 Centrally located at the river/harbour, just a couple of blocks off the main road . Free parking. We appreciated a good selection of fresh bread at breakfast. We didn’t try the restaurant for other meals ourselves, however overheard some guest praisong it Staff seemed to be a bit bored/tired

Nice hotel, newly refurbished. The outside looks very tried. We had booked a suite, but they called us a couple of hours before check in to let us know that we could not have the suite because they had double booked. Not much to choose from, so we had to accept the other room they had for us. When we got there, there was just a king size bed in the room. We had booked a room for two adults and two children. We let the reception know, and they quickly sendt up to spare beds. Nice room, clean , good beds, BIG pillows and small. Perfect location in this very small town. The breakfast-lady was very friendly and nice. The breakfast it self was simple, but fresh looking. (Corona times)

Our visit was mid week and we opted for a room facing the canal (noisy in weekends, we were told). Got a great room on the 5th floor with a balcony. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom. The breakfast was mediocre, but the staff was friendly. All-in-all, a bit overpriced for a small town.

I stayed at the Maritim Hotel, the rooms are basic, but clean and the shower and toilet was clean, I'd say this hotel is great for a business trip - the breakfast buffet is good, and the food in the evening is excellent, if you have the chance to get in for the Wednesday steak night, try it - very very good steak - im retuning next week, hopefully the sme level of food and service is provided.

we stayed here for one night. our room was clean and the bed comfortable but indeed our room was dated and needs to be refreshed. but this was all compensated by the most friendly employees we every experienced while staying in hotels. the receptionist and the waitress in the restaurant - really good! the hotel is well located, free parking and wifi.

We had a pretty poor experience here - The hotel haven't seen a brush of paint for probably 20+ years. You feel like you are on a boat because of the AC. It was expensive and we weren't very impressed by the breakfast. If i have to stay in Flekkefjord again i'd definitely choose the other hotel.

Nice welcome in the reception. The room was filthy, dusty, poorly cleaned, full of bird fleas. Menu for the restaurant in the room was very different from the one we got when we wanted to eat, both dishes to choose from and prices was higher. Food was ok, but for the price I wanted more. Burger was ordered medium, it was well done. Bacon came after we started to eat, 2 slices... Tagliatelle with chicken/mushrooms was rather bland, club sandwich was strange (foccacia and eggs on it), no drinks menu so we got told: sorry, we don´t have that. After a few tries, we asked what do you have? Breakfast was ok, but softboiled eggs was hard/green and the coffee was horribly bitter. Location is nice, but expect guests in outside area partying untill early morning. The place appears dirty, unmaintained and dark, with a lot of lights missing. Toilet had brown stains next to it on the wall.... Shower was stained and had hair from previous guests. TV was very poor, bad picture (if any) and bad sound (not possible to make out anything) apart from two chanels. Free wifi, 4mb/s DL less than 1mb/s UL On the plus side; No complaints about durian in the room (there is a shop less than 5 min from hotel) I think this is the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. (I have over 500 nights in hotels over the last 10 years)

Right next to the water in the middle of town this is a great spot for a one night stop while exploring the south coast Fjords. While the hotel is not new the rooms are large and clean and the beds are comfy! There is a great restaurant on site and the wifi is free and quick. Also free onsite parking and breakfast is pretty good too!

Arrived soaking wet at the hotel after cykling from Egersund to Flekkefjord. Welcomed by a nice receptionist who quickly organized a parking for our bikes. The room was a bit worn down but the beds were good. The breakfast was very good. They had even pastry. All in all a good stay.
