This is the second time I visit this restaurant. The first was not a good experience but the area of the property is so pretty. We visited again. The service was slow the drinks were juice. The oysters? paid $50 dollars for a dozen. Which were dry and there was no horseradish. The fried fish was under cooked and cold. Definitely not returning no matter how pretty the place is. BTW the next day we went to a place called Tranquilo and ate Oysters for $8 dollars with drinks that were worth drinking and the service was on point. So it’s a beautiful place that is over priced. I haven’t stayed at the hotel. Or tried the other bars on the property.

The Marina and facilites totally remodeled and a very pleasant place to spend your leisure day. Service was excepcional and the restrooms very well kept. That is why I gave it a four star. Food needs serious improvement. Restaurant was empty. We were told the old pool area will be a new kitchen. We had eaten at the old restaurant and food was very good

This hotel exceeded our expectations . We stayed here in Oct 2020 . Came back in Dec 2020 and would choose to stay again . The family room is perfect for our needs . Staff and owner went above and beyond to accommodate us and make us comfortable . The rooms are clean , well decorated , and perfectly provisioned . The views of the Marina are stunning .We felt safe and comfortable while staying here. That had not been our experience at other hotels in PR. Everyone was so kind to us . Our first trip to PR we had a lot to learn about the culture and area . They were so patient , accommodating and friendly . We have chosen this hotel on more recent trips and would recommend . The restaurant set among the mangroves is a beautiful and convenient place to enjoy a meal and scenery . My family especially enjoyed watching the marina life of boaters’ coming and goings , greeting the boat dog residents and feeding the fish .

Had never been here. Was invited by a friend. Didn't look like much but was in for a surprise. Very good food. Got served by Lourdes and she made all efforts to make us feel very welcomed. Kimberly made excellent mojitos. Chef Ricardo came to the table to ask if everything was good and could do anything to make our night better. Everything was excellent and would definently reccomend this place. Familiar environment, tasteful food and excellent service

Pros: right on the water, nice outdoor snack bar with drinks and burgers at night, reception spoke english, wifi worked, it was cheap!

Cons: everything else... the beds are laughable, the doors barely close properly (would not take valuables), the toilet was coming away from the wall every time you sat on it, the TV was circa 1970, furniture was shipped and gross.

There are better places to stay in the same area.

Arrived at midnight to the hotel and the main office was closed. The security guard "checked" us in by handing out the keys to the rooms. Two of the rooms were wrong, but nothing could be done because the office was closed.

The rooms - the beds couldn't be more uncomfortable, they were extremely firm. Only 2 channels available on tv and you could everything going on outside of the rooms.

Definitely rated under motel category, not hotel. Rooms are super small, Europe style small. The check in process was weird, in a sense the lady was courteous however didn’t seem to know enough information. Problem and huge concern. Check in office “lobby” they work from 9-5pm. Like why?! They have two ladies..instead having two , why not divide the shift? So, at least someone is in the check in area until 10pm or so. Nope not here. So apparently any emergencies, help assistance or even checking in after 5pm..you have to go in a scavenger hunt for the only guard within the place and he will check you in ...I believe & assume.

Like I said, room tiny, no hot water-however it was clean a few mosquitos inside the room which we spend some time killing them. Tv channels didn’t work, because All rooms are nearby the bar (restaurant) area- you can hear everything, annoying laughters, screaming, music and so on. Typical download local bar kinda place.

If you go out to the deck área within this motel place, the view is really nice. So, basically this place was selected as my last resource and was categorized as been recently remodeled, which it seems the rooms have went under a renovation, some basic furniture, beds not enough pillows or sheets- but seems new.

I wish I could’ve give them more than two stars but my review is base on the above facts and experience. This is definitely a motel style kinda place, they need some serious work to be classified as hotel, nevertheless resort. Most importantly, stop pricing your rooms at such. Unless, administration is willing to put the effort, adequately demonstrate starting with customer service and other important perks as other hotels around the world do.

Not recommend, unless for desperate last resource situations.

Before Maria this was just a small bar probably for the hotel users to have a quiet nightcap before going to sleep. After the destruction caused by Hurricane Maria, they’re constructed the place ( and I guess the administration!). This is a totally different concept!! The menu is varied where you can have from a spicy oriental tuna dinner to a freshly catched red snapper. Friday’s are excellent with the best “ambiente” in the area. From excellent music, nice drinks and good dinner this is now one of the best places in Salinas. Needs a little more organization in the service but this packed have roared from 0 to 4.5 in a very short period of time!!!

We are sincerely sorry to hear about your inconvenience. Our property is under new administration since January, 2017. We’re currently remodeling the rooms and have made lots of changes throughout the property. If you could be so kind to provide us with the more details on the credit card issue, I’ll be more than happy to speak with you. Please provide us the date and room number you had stayed in for a follow-up. Hope you will visit us in the near future to see our new improvements. We currently have opened our Sunset bar “Jalan, Jalan”, that overlooks the marina and ocean with a spectacular view and join us for our Friday night BBQ with live entertainment. We take great pride on providing excellent customer service. Thank you. Iris Rodríguez, GM
