Our family stayed here for 10 days in August and had a great time. The island has the softest sand we have felt underfoot, beating even the Maldives. It is a barefoot resort which is so much better than having to wear trousers to dinner which persists in luxury resorts in countries such as the Seychelles and Mauritius despite the stiffling temperature and humidity.
We stayed on both the North and South Beach accommodation during our stay and they are the same. The South beach had generally calmer seas but some days the wind changed direction so the opposite was true. The best snorkelling for us was off the North beach right hand side with stunning corals and fish. The southside was good but the North had more variety of coral in our opinion.
We did 9 dives on the island including night dives and the coral and fish life were exceptional, close to the colours of the Solomon islands. Visibility was good and we were often seranaded by the humpback whales during the dive that were around the islands. We saw frogfish, seahorses, loads of nudibranchs as well as a leopard shark along with the myriad of fish, lobsters, rays and eels. The diving was superb right up there with the best in the world. Amir's dive team were friendly efficient and knowledgeable. I will be back with my macro lens for the nudibranchs.
Rooms were nice, again shabby beach chic look with AC and a separate walk in bathroom. The staff sprayed the rooms with mosquito killer each night when you were at dinner and installed plug in repllent inside the mosquito net. They also spray for mosquitos around the island. There is an outdoor gym with natural weights but my wife would have preferred a room with equipment or a yoga class each day. My wife enjoyed the spa and the massages.
All meals are served in the single restaurant on the island. Breakfast and lunch are buffet and dinner is a la carte. One meal a week is served on the beach and the staff play music and dance in the sand which my kids loved.
All in all a luxury resort in an isolated location - wish there was a flight direct from the UK like there is from Italy. The staff were attentive and management came around at each meal to ask how your day was.
We will be back.

Tsarabanjina is this piece of heaven which feels like home. From the tremendous kindness of the staff to the breathtaking landscapes, this little island holds so many wonders. The bungalows are pristine, beautifully designed with Malagasy craft and offer a breathtaking view and direct access to the crystal blue water and dazzling white sand. Everyone kindly welcomed us on the sea shore, waving at the boat. The management staff Bertrand and Zoely are very caring and ensure that you’re having the best time by taking the time to discuss and exchange with us. They helped us organise our little brother’s birthday dinner and made the family time even bigger yet so special.
The restaurant staff such as Edmond, Lucien and so many other great guys are highly generous and professional, making sure that we’re having a great culinary experience. The food was exquisite, the chef and his team are skilled, no doubts! Jacob organised a beautiful snorkelling trip and a super insightful tour of the island. It is our third time on the island but every single time the rare and touching kindness of every single person working on the island makes us feel so attached to Tsarabanjina.

Tsarabanjina Island is lovely. You can go around the island by foot and one part is occupied by the Constance which has only 14 bungalows.
The island is the most beautiful in Madagascar as the sea is crystal clear like the Maldives and you can only find it here and somewhere on the coast of the main big island. This is the reason as to why staying at the Constance is very expensive!
The sea: in the morning is shallow but you can swim as it become deep very quickly, the sand is white and there sunbeds to use! 
Here I have seen so many beautiful sunsets and relaxed a lot as there is no Entertainment but there are areas where you can play different games by your own. The local people are so sospecial, especially the guys who work at Constance! One of them got the coconut and opened and surprised us with it!
Constance: the bungalows are very nice, the bed is so comfy, I really liked all the design including the bathroom. The mini bar is stocked daily (even if they forgot one time) and the bathroom set is also changed whenever it is running out.
The boys from Constance clean the room when you go to breakfast and dinner and they are so nice.
The food is fresh but seems a little repetitive. For what you pay, you expect more, especially some international bits.
It should be done more disinfestations as there were many mosquitoes in the evening and hornets in the morning. Furthermore, one of the assistant manager is a bit invasive as she can get into people conversations when no one has asked her opinion and she can be a bit rude when asking questions. The other resort manager was very nice and he tried all the time to make us happy! 
A big thank you goes to all the bar and restaurant staff as well as the cleaning guys and escursion guy!

I am writing this review as a person who has only dealt w the resort via email etc. They were really helpful and kind about answering all of my questions and being kind and helpful. Due to their exemplary service i decided i must go there...they completely booked up so i started looking at the constance in the maldives and i got an email from the travel agency who said 4 days had opened up so we booked airline tickets and told him to book the room in madagascar!
Unfortunately our travel agent got an email that said they had booked the last room a bit earlier in the day.... so its my loss! BUT They were courteous, kind, accommodating and i wish i were able to stay w them!
So although im not going to be staying w them--i received great service from their customer service staff and at some point i will make it to one of the constance resorts

This place exceeded my expectations! The staff went above and beyond for every request. Even though it was the rainy season, we still had the best vacation. The rooms are clean and well appointed. There’s plenty of space between the villas, so you feel like you are on the island alone. But, if you don’t want to be alone, the staff is always available to assist with anything you might need. I felt safe and relaxed the whole time I was there. The beach is stunning and the diving is the best for biodiversity. Hiking the island provided for a good workout and amazing views. I just can’t say enough good things about the resort and the staff! They have made Madagascar one of my top 5 places in the world to travel.

We had such a wonderfull experiance here. This small resort is like a dream. The surroundings, the accomodation, the privacy and above all the personal attention of the staff. We stayed for 5 nights here, and when we left, it really felt like leaving friends. From the staff at the restaurant, reception, diving school untill the activities and cleaning crew or garderers, they all were concerned about our wellbeing.
We will always remember Tsarabanjina with a big smile on our face :)

I struggle to better all the recent wonderful reviews of this beautiful island. I agree 100% with all the comments. My husband and I stayed on North beach for 10 supremely beautiful days. Snorkelling was wonderful. At times, it was like swimming in an aquarium. Whilst there, we celebrated our 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary. We exchanged our vows in true Malagasy style. From the minute beautiful garlands were placed around our necks and on my head, we were treated like royalty. After the exchange of vows, we were taken to the catamaran be decked with flowers, and floated out into the sunset. Then we had an amazing sea food meal on the hill. To anyone celebrating a special anniversary, I highly recommend this lovely ceremony. Massive thanks to every single member of staff who contributed to our wonderful stay on this special island. I don’t have any complaints, just a couple of tips. Another toilet in the bar restaurant area would be extremely helpful. One just wasn’t enough. Wether permitting, it would be lovely to have more beach BBQs.

Wow. Just wow! Absolutely faultless stay. Service was impeccable by Gabriel and his team. Friendly/ helpful but not over bearing. The island is stunning and exclusive. Beautifully maintained. Food was fresh and always with high quality ingredients. It took a little while for us to relax in to the swing of things ie limited WiFi (and none in the bar/ restaurant), set times for eating, etc but we adjusted quickly and had the most magical time. Various trips you can sign up for and diving onsite. Beach huts are immaculate and only several paces to your own slice of private beach. No shoes in the bar - simply the best rule! Fabulous cocktails. 30 mins from nosy be airport by car, followed by 1 hour boat. Note, boats cannot sail after 4pm due to maritime law. Also a helipad on the island.

My wife and I stayed at at Tsarabanjina last year and after a hectic trip around Madagascar it was like arriving in paradise. A beautiful island, helpful attentive staff and great facilities. The main reason for booking was the diving and #bluewavediving did not disappoint. A group of very enthusiastic Italians, coupled with a series of great diving locations made for a fantastic trip. Thank you to Paolo, Margherita and Amir (and Julio for the whale video and the night dive) for all their hard work (and also giving us the opportunity to teach Paolo a new English word (those whales were "huge", Paolo!).

Everything about this place was amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful from the moment they greet you getting off the boat.
The food was buffet style for lunch and dinner gave 3-4 options each for a starter, entree, side, and a dessert. I admit I am a very picky eater and even I found great options I enjoyed every meal.
The room was steps away from the most beautiful clear blue water I've ever seen. The snorkeling right from the beach was great and I was even able to get my diving certificate here up to 18m.
This is a must visit Spot and we will be back.
