We loved everything at this hotel - the nice and polite staff, the hotel itself and the facilities it offers, the mini stores, the restaurant, the room, and mostly the sandy beach and the clean and wave-less sea (with sand on the bottom of the sea). We stayed 5 nights in September and we had halfboard; the hotel is horizontal with many facilities (some not offered due to covid during our stay); there are more buildings with 2-3 floors each; we had a garden view room with partial seaview and it was quite spacious (it was a renovated room); very nice amenities, spotless clean, very good matress, quiet ; the room had double sink, a bathtube and rain shower, plus the restroom was completely separated with a small sink. Covid measures taken - hygiene produc across the hotel, staff wearing masks, only staff served the food at the restaurant, distancing at the beach. There is a huge variety of food at the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner; lots of desserts as well; at breakfast coffee, water, juice are included, whereas at dinner no drink is included. The bar at the beach has wonderful sunset views, and a nice terrace on the first floor. Some evenings there is live music at the bar near the beach - quite nice. Beach towels are provided in the room and at the beach. The sand on the beach is very nice and without stones... perfect for kids. The sea entrance is sandy, the depth of the sea is up to 1 meter for more than 10–15 meters from shore, and no waves (at least during our stay), so perfect for small kids; no need for seashoes. The water is clear and good for snorkeling. At noon we had lunch at the taverna; once we walked to a nearby restaurant, but not too many options in walking distance. A car is needed if you want to get out of the hotel to other beaches, small towns/villages, etc. Overall the hotel felt intimate and quiet during our stay. We enjoyed our holiday, we recommend it and we hope to return for other holidays.

I have been to Anthemus twice. It was great! I had been going to all the tremendous activities that took place. The first one was Darts which I like but ain't that good at it. The second one was table tennis I think or castles from sand competitions. Then some games with the ball and some dance competition. The last one was also with the Adults and every day that game changed. If you win you will get a delicious milkshake. I won like 13 in total because I am very good at table tennis so I won every day in that game. I stayed here for 10 days. The price is medium-high, around 4500$ but for what you are offered it is worth. The food is marvellous! and the staff was extremely friendly.

This comment is a bit late, as we went to Greece at the end of September! To begin with, the hotel has an excellent location, because there are 2-3 more beaches nearby (but there are few people due to small stones on the beach) and you are surrounded by a green landscape. That is why you don't feel like you're in the middle of the desert! The hotel has a large and well-groomed territory so that guests do not feel like in a tin can. The only small drawback is that you can't walk to the nearest local supermarket - you definitely need a car, because as we understood, due to the Coronavirus, there are currently no shuttles to the city. However, don't worry, because the hotel offers its own mini market where you can buy snacks, water, magazines, etc. :) The great thing is that the hotel has a private beach with sun loungers and parasols, so don't worry about the extra charge. The beach looked clean and tidy every morning, during the whole stay we did not see a single cigarette butt in the sand! The beach is not rocky, there is sand everywhere, only at the very beginning when you enter the water there are pebbles, but this was an almost imperceptible disadvantage, because there was solid sand further. The water is clean and you can even see the fish. :) Regarding food, we can't make any negative comments. Every morning, of course, the same breakfast, but the variety is quite enough so as not to feel discomfort. Free coffee, tea, water and juices for breakfast! The cool thing is that juices have... Pulp! Lots of pulp! It would seem ordinary, but we have been traveling for a long time with our family and this was the first time that the whole family drank juices with such pleasure! Dinner is different every day: French cuisine, then northern Greek, then some other. In general, there is something new every day, so you won't get bored with one dish! Even in spite of the whole situation with the pandemic, the staff tried to serve guests as quickly as possible, so there were no complaints about the fact that you stood for a long time with one plate and waited for someone to come to you. As soon as the staff saw you, they literally flew to you! :) The rooms, like the grounds, were always clean! We took the Deluxe Pool View (room 603) and were extremely happy with the scenery. The balcony overlooked the pool, beyond which the sea was visible! And the size for two persons was impressive! Felt like a princess with my mother! No rust or dusty shelves, everything looked like new! The cleaning staff were always friendly, if you needed something, they would immediately fly in and bring everything to you! :) The entertainment program was on schedule every day: table tennis, beach and water volleyball, and in the evenings, various game or themed evenings awaited guests. Special thanks to the guys who were engaged in the entertainment program! You won't get bored with them at all, facial expressions, jokes and all-all-all made people smile! :) Many thanks to the staff, who always treated guests with a smile and kindness! If any questions arose, they were always ready to tell you everything in detail or share their personal impressions of some places. The staff is very courteous and caring, in no way bored with constant questions! Thanks to everyone, there was a homely atmosphere in which you could truly relax! :) My mother and I have been to different hotels and somewhere there were always shortcomings, something I didn't like or it wasn't tasty. However, there is simply nothing to complain about here! After reading the comment, it will seem like it was bought, but I hasten to assure you that this is not so. No wonder this hotel is called one of the best, no, the BEST in all of Sithonia. At first, we didn’t have a lot of faith in this, that some people have been visiting Anthemus for the third time, and so on. BUT! We saw for ourselves that this place is worth the money spent inside and out! If you have the opportunity to visit this place, be sure to visit it! Whether you are alone, a young or an elderly couple, a family with children - everyone here will be very, very happy! Thanks to Anthemus for the warm welcome, wonderful service, unforgettable memories and feelings! It was the best vacation in recent travel years! :)

Prior to our booking, i contacted the hotel reservation manager. Maria was very helpfull and took great care of our request for a quiet room away from entertainment and street noise. We got an upgrade due to our 12 nights stay. The room was perfect, clean, spacious and quiet. The overall staff is friendly. Breakfast is very good! Entertainment activities are well organised. The heated pools and amazing beach are stunning. We normally visit the Greek island but this year they were retricted for visits. So this was our first encounter with the Greek mainland and the region chalkidiki. We are very content and will come back soon. We decided to extend our stay due to the relax atmosphere. At the end we stayed 15 nights. Epharisto poli! See you soon!
