Well where do you start, the place is certainly worthy of its rating, I wont mention any of the the staff by name as each and everyone were truly a pleasure, nothing was too much trouble always friendly and always with a smile. The journey time from the airport was about 90mins but worth the drive. A glass of prosseco on arrival and a bottle of wine for the room went down a treat. We stayed in roon 428 which was a Junior Suite with Pool view. The room was modern, immaculate and opened up on to the second of two pools (not heated) This pool tended to be the quieter of the two as the first one located in the main garden was heated and frequented by families with children. The hotel is family orientated no raucous drinking games in the pools and evening entertainment appropriate to the audience. Sunbeds and parasols abound no problem getting one anytime of the day. The beach is sandy and slopes gently into the sea. The hotel has two bars only one of which was open during our stay. The pool bar doubled as the place for evening entertainment with a pianist or guitarist providing easy listening. Breakfast and dinner were served mainly from the buffet restaurant although other options were available at extra cost. Food choices were excellant with desserts particularly mouthwatering for those with a sweet tooth. Except for breakfast all drinks were chargeable however for breakfast a good choice of coffees teas and juices were available. The hotel also provides a free shuttlebus presumably to the local town of Nikiti. Internet is free and available across the site and runs at 75Mbsec around the top pool.In the room both shower and corner bath were available along with fridge, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers and kettle. Finally I have no hesitation in giving this hotel a 5 star rating and will surely be returning soon.

It was my wife's and my honeymoon - originally planned for 2020, but delayed to 2021 due to Covid.
Anyway, we've made a perfect choice to stay at Anthemus Sea.
We arrived at Thessaloniki and rented a car for more flexibility around Sithonia, as there is not much to do in walking distance around the hotel.
This said, you can enjoy your stay and relax at the private beach or at one of the lovely pools with sea view.
Sunbeds are free of charge and if you like to have a snack or drink you can order from the always kind staff walking around the beach area.
There are two areas - one right at the seaside where many families enjoy the weather and the flat sloping sea, and one right behind the first area where children are not allowed (perfect if you want to read a book in peace).
The buffet restaurant offers a huge variety of food for brekfast and dinner (half board), like, fish, meat, vegetables, salds, desserts, they even offer gluten free food or vegan dishes. You will definitely find something to eat.
Currently you need to wear a mask and use gloves within the restaurant. After taking you seat, you can take the gloves and mask off.
Personally, we have tried the tavern "Yialos" upon our arrival, but we were quite dissatisfied with the meat's quality. Service was good, though.
We did not eat at the other restaurant, "Horizon".
On the day before our departure we decided to get a massage in the hotel's spa.
That was a great experience and both of us felt stress relieved. Thank you, Christina!
Throughout our one week stay we had lots of fun with the entertainment team (cheers to Alessia, Nici, Adriyan and Stefano) who offered varied activities throughout the day and in the evening. Especially the comedy show and music quiz were our favourites. They never were intrusive and accept if you do not want to participate in any activities.
There is one point I want to emphasise.
My wife hurt herself badly (rupture of the Achilles tendon) during our stay and the hotel staff's service was exceptional! They called us repeatedly and asked for my wife's well-being, offered to assist as best as they could, e.g. like driving her to the restaurant or the reception. We were offerd quiet seats at the restaurant with no long walking distance as she was not able to walk properly.
Every single individual did everything to make and keep our stay enjoyable. Thank you very much, that meant a lot to us!
All in all, I would recommend this hotel to everybody who wants to relax and escape their everyday life for some time. You do not need to worry about anything.
Thank you again, stay safe and healthy and I am sure we will meet again.

Overall, seemed like everyone was doing their best to give you a great experience.
They have a private beach with shallow and clean waters, plus some water volley ball.
They have a beach bar, an a la carte restaurant right on the beach where you can be lucky to have a dinner on the sand and watch the sunset.
They breakfast is very nice, plenty of options. The coffee could be better though.
Everyrhing was spotless in the room.

We spent a few relaxing days at the hotel. The room was nicely decorated and very comfortable, only a few steps from the pool. There were many amenities in the hotel like a kid's playroom, a spa, restaurant, and bar, as well as shops.
The hotel had great personnel, that kept everything impeccably clean, helped you with anything you needed and was very friendly. The beach was very good (the sand is kept very clean and you get fresh towels on the spot), although the sea waters are rather shallow for adult swimmers (good for kids though).
The best part of all was the food, which truly makes the Anthemus hotel stand out from other hotels of this range. The menu was original and creative, offering a different food experience every day, with themes and menus inspired by local and international cuisines. The food materials are fresh and tasty, and the dishes cater to any food palate, from simple flavours for the kids to intricate entrants, creative delicacies, cold dishes, tasty plateau dishes and fresh deserts. Everything was well designed and executed by the chefs and cooks, quickly (as they seem to have a lot of personnel) and in abundance.
I believe that Anthemus hotel is worth considering a stay for the serene environment but above all for the food experience.

Fantastic experience from the moment I enquired about the hotel till the stay itself. Chris @ reception dedicating so much time on the phone to answer my questions about the hotel, Daniella and Maria@ booking really listening to what i needed and suggesting the perfect hotel room solution through to amazing people on site (Ijoanna, Ivan and the team in the restaurant who were so welcoming and warm made us feel like we were at home). The hotel is located in the most beautiful area of Sithonia, surrounded by pine trees, directly on the blue flag beach with heated pool (28 degrees) and indoor heated pool (for a small fee, great for colder months). The atmosphere of the hotel is calm, relaxing, quiet. Our hotel room (523) was beautifully refurbished, large, with two balconies (and when you open them, you are welcomed by intoxicating smell of jasmine). and a lounge area that can be separated from the bedroom. We travelled with a 5 year old who thoroughly enjoyed the kids club and mini disco provided. We also enjoyed live music and Greek night show. Food was absolutely delicious, plenty to choose from even for a picky 5 year old. I would highly recommend this magical place and we will definitely be returning. Thank you very much Anthemus Sea Beach team :)

We stayed here for a week in the beginning of august. We had in general a good stay. The grounds/garden look good! The rooms are modern and nicely decorated.
Food is average, dinner buffet doesn’t have much variation, we personally think that the food in general is not of high quality. And for example the hamburger for lunch was not fresh meat.
We have eaten a few times at Yialos tavern, the food is not great, again we thought oversalted.
Drinks are very expensive in the resort, 5,5 euro for an apple juice or coke, 12 euro for a cocktail, 9,5 euros for a fresh orange juice.
There is minimarket on the resort, were you can buy the drinks cheaper.
The Beach is the highlight! Beachwater is clear and extremely shallow for a long time, perfect for young children. There is seaweed the first few meters in the water. After that beautiful clear shallow sea. The beach itself feels sometimes overcrowded, the beach chairs are to close together. But we could always find seats, even though a lot off people reserve there beds.
The swimming pools are ok, nice temp and not heated in the summer. There are 2 bigger pools, and one small kids pool, roughly 60 cm deep. The wall pooltiles are dirty and are not (often) cleaned, which make the pools not appealing.
Reception and guests services are very friendly, in the dinner and poolbar no service with a smile, but there are some exceptions! On a moment we had a problem in the room, within 15 min. there was a repairman to help us, so that was very good! Entertainment is also good, they do there best. There is for example kidsdisco and evening entertainment. Also the beach/poolbar has a few times a week live music.
The kidsclub is good for some distraction for the kids, only the outdoor play area, could do some renewing.
Other little details like: no branded nespresso cups in bedroom, reused/refilled showergel etc., lights not repaired in buffet restaurant, no soft cushings on the beach/pool beds.
So there are definitely a few things that could be better..

Visited in July but booked as a last minute. Unfortunately while we were there they were having the terrible heatwave so we didn’t have the normal chill out beach holiday we would have , however this can’t be helped .
We were delighted with our deluxe room, very spacious, clean , lovely furnishings , huge bathroom with double shower and separate bedroom area and a fabulous walk in closet , and right next to the pool . Two sun beds outside which were a godsend as we used these more than anything and they were in the shade which was an absolute must. Also a lifeguard on everyday 10am till 7pm , which is when the pool opens and closes .
This is where we were slightly conflicted , the food at breakfast and dinner was absolutely amazing ! So much choice, excellent quality every single day , well prepared, and fresh . All the food areas were spotless, and the waiters and waitresses were amazing . There is not one thing we could find wrong any any point , and would say this was 5 star as the hotel is described as .
This is we’re we are conflicted .. The food at lunch at the beach bar was not up to scratch for a 5 star . I know some people may say we are picky , but I expected better quality , presentation and choice , especially when you have to pay for this . We just found it lacking , ie one very small piece of ham on a sandwich , which sent back . We complained another day about the quality of our lunch as it was just not up to scratch . This was obviously the relayed to the manager of this resort as were received a call asking could we go for a meeting in reception.
We agreed to go , however after explaining we didn’t feel like the food that you have to purchase wasn’t 5 star quality , and that it seemed strange as the buffet food was excellent, we were then spoke to in a way that I have to say was a little undermining. We sat and listened to the manager, who told us that no-one else had the same opinion as us , and that the food was up to par. We explained that 12euros for a sandwich with one small piece of ham in our opinion wasn’t ok . I feel like we had to agree to disagree . We also mentioned the cleanliness of some areas and especially the toilets which service the beach during the day . I have to admit they were not clean at all , and it was unacceptable at a resort like this . We left the meeting with a slightly sour taste in our mouth , and decided to just get on with throw rest of our holiday . We did eat at Yialos a couple of times and the food actually was very nice .
Drinks are slightly high, 5.5 euros for a coke 12-15 euros for a cocktail , but I think this is like this more all over Europe now . The beach is excellent for children and I think this is definitely more a family hotel . We did have a nice holiday , however we would not re-visit again .

Response from Maria Kranioti, Άλλο at Anthemus Sea Beach Hotel & Spa
Responded Oct 3, 2023
Dear Mrs. Lorry, Thank you for reviewing your recent stay at Anthemus Sea Beach Hotel & Spa. We value your feedback and would like to address some key points. We recognize your two TripAdvisor reviews, one in July and another in September, both stemming from a single stay. While we appreciate the improved rating in your second review, please note that it still affects our overall rating due to the initial negative review. We want to emphasize that we do not incentivize positive ratings and truly value honest feedback. Regarding your meeting with our manager, we apologize if it didn't meet your expectations. Our sincere intention was to address your concerns. Although you've decided not to revisit, we hope you might reconsider in the future, giving us another opportunity to showcase our hospitality. Thank you for your feedback, and we hope that you will return to Halkidiki in the future. Best Regards, Anthemus Sea Beach Hotel & Spa Team

Prior to our booking, i contacted the hotel reservation manager. Maria was very helpfull and took great care of our request for a quiet room away from entertainment and street noise.
We got an upgrade due to our 12 nights stay. The room was perfect, clean, spacious and quiet.
The overall staff is friendly.
Breakfast is very good!
Entertainment activities are well organised.
The heated pools and amazing beach are stunning.
We normally visit the Greek island but this year they were retricted for visits. So this was our first encounter with the Greek mainland and the region chalkidiki. We are very content and will come back soon.
We decided to extend our stay due to the relax atmosphere. At the end we stayed 15 nights.

i had researched this hotel for a while before booking , we stayed for a week from 23rd Aug 2023, i must say from the first minute of arrival to our departure was fantastic, the hotel is magnificent, nothing was a issue and the staff would sort any desires immediately.
Location amazing, hotel amazing, food amazing, pools and beach amazing.
We were upgraded to a junior suite on arrival and cold drink of sparkly awaited us in our room, the room was lovely, clean and spacious, large bathroom, a very comfy king size bed and pillows and a huge TV, a nice sitting area and balcony.
the pools and beach had ample comfy sun beds and all had fresh clean towels rolled on them and there was waiter service on the beach.
Food was excellent, a huge variety and high quality food, waiters were alway around to help.
the bars were class, good ales and spirits, nothing was watered down here.
there are plenty of amenities, food, clothing and much more.
For me i loved the quiet pool on level one, it was so peaceful before spending the afternoon on the spectacular private beach.
The holiday was very relaxing and peaceful, i can not find any issues .
The Anthemus is a perfect holiday and hotel

Dear Sir,
Thank you for being interested in our hotel as your possible holiday destination. Now, as for your question about the sunbeds , we assure you that there are enough sunbeds on the beach and around the pools to meet the needs of all our guests. Since the number of sunbeds has never been an issue in our hotel, the only thing we have to clarify is that we cannot promise the location of the sunbeds, which is the reason why you may have come across some negative responses from the guests' part.
We are at your disposal for any further information you may need.
Kind regards,
Sales & Marketing Department
Nothing to worry about. Plenty of sunbeds. We had stayed there and at that time they were bringing more and more sunbeds every day.
