Amazing hotel, with excellent service! 5* service indeed! Fantastic and fresh food, various choices! We enjoyed breakfast and dinner for 10 days. Sooo pleasent experience having meals at the restaurant of this Hotel. So welcoming staff and management of the restaurant. Many thanks to Ivan for his proffesional aproach and hospitality! We stayed in 101 apartment, close to the beach,on ground level, wich is very convinient for families with small kids. We travelled with 3 kids (a baby, toddler and a 6yrs old). A minute away from our apartment was the main restaurant, the beach as well, the pool... The beach is sandy, shalow water, great for kids. The pool is clean, Taverna and beach bar have great food and drinks ( good for lunch). We tried every venue at the Hotel except SPA and Piano bar. Disco nights for kids are so memorable for kids. There is playground in the shade, and a playroom with entartaiment staff inside of property. Entire property is very well maintained, it is obvious on every corner. Fresh and watered flowers, lawns... Our room was new and impecable, great bathroom , spacious waredrobe, big and comfortable bed! Housekeeping ladies did a great job cleaning our room on daily basis❤️. Small shop is nice and prices are reasonable, you can get water, snacks, drinks, icecream...some basic things and souveniers as well. We made reservations directly through sales team and front office! Danijela and Aleksandra from Front desk are very kind and professional! The staff of entire Hotel is very polite and helpfull! Staying at Anthemus Sea Hotel is defenetly the best stay we had in Greece so far, and we visit once or twice during summer. We will defenetly come back again! Tanja and Ivan

Highly recommend this wonderful family run hotel . If you are looking for a relaxing holiday, enjoy sea swimming in beautiful clear calm waters, don’t want loud club music but chilled laid back evenings then this could be your ideal place . Great variety in the restaurant, Ivan the manager always made us feel so welcome & if you can find Stanislav in the mornings for breakfast pick his area in the restaurant that he looks after as he is outstanding. Many Europeans visit this hotel but very few Brits, I can’t understand why ?

Generally a 1st class experience with everything functioning very well, starting already at the arrival, with a glass of "bubbles" in the spacy and pleasant reception area, duly attended by the competent staff there. Our wish for a quiet room away from bar and pool noise, but still with sea view towards west, was heeded - as best they could. When that is said, here are the few "thumb downs" that I would mention: Our room then on the other hand had an open back entrance quite affected by the evening entertainment in the amphie-theatre. It was nice to be able to step outside on the "shadow side" and look towards the mountains. The entertainment for children and teens there is certainly also commendable, but it should stop at 10 pm - AND/OR the shouting by the entertainers (using microphone and reminding one a sports commentator), even at 10.30, should be scaled down. But it did end around that time. I am sure that in this small theatre, everbody will easily hear the "cheer" even without a microphone!! In short, there seems to be no real "evening quiet" anywhere in the hotel - except perhaps for the less attractive rooms facing the pathway at the southern side. But as said, it DOES NOT affect your sleep after 10.30-11.00 pm. The overconsumption of towels - even in the year 2023 when environment and climate is a top priority - should be seriously reconsidered. Already many years ago hotels in other countries had more focus on reducing unnecessary washing of towels. - Every day new towels were placed, even on the beds around the pools. I can understand that re-use of beach towels may be difficult, as few people will take them to their rooms, dry them and use them again the next day, but at the pools it should only be an OPTION to get a new one every day. At both places new towels should NOT automatically be placed on sunbeds. They could be "for handout" on request - just as I saw at the beach on Lucy Hotel in Kavala in 2017, and there could be sign posts at pools and at the beach saying, e.g. "PLEASE USE YOUR TOWELS FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE AND PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT. NEW TOWELS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THE STEWARD ON YOUR REQUEST". ! The menu of the taverna is a bit strange. Some appetizers are actually as big as main courses. So long as you know that the "Fried calamares..." can actually serve as a main course it is fine, but the grouping should be reviewed. Also, the menu is lacking Greek specialities, like Kleftiko. We were very happy with the 1/4 wines. Both white, rosé and red were excellent quality - contrary to what is often the case with small bottles. Also the compliment desert of a small "baclava", a scoop of ice cream and/or water melon was appreciated. The area is very beatiful, but unless you go for a total relaxation holiday at the premises, a car is recommended to go to the Eastern side for the very best beaches and to go around the Peninsular. The sourther tip, with a view towards Mount Athos is stunning. We hire a car from a local company - like we always try to do - Ecomotion in Nikiti, which can be recommended. No nonsense and no extras - although the car was not brand new, which I don't mind.

I have visited the resort with my family in September. I'm giving the highest rate of the hotel, because we have received free of charge upgrade of the rooms to mini apartments with garden view. I am very happy of this. The cleanig service of the rooms has been excellent. The rooms are situated close to the restaurant, to the beach and to the kids club, which is very important for a family with small kids. The public areas of the resort are very clean with excellent maintence. The pools and the beach are also very clean. The sea water is also very clean and it is not deep, that is why it is very suitable for small children. But I have several recommendations: 1. The kids club to be with longer working time, or at least the working hours to be changed. It is closing at 17:30, which is too early. It would be nice if the kids club is opened during the end of the dinner time. 2. It would be nice to be orgsnized a little bit more entertainments for the adults 3. It would be nice the water for dinner to be free of charge 4. It would be nice the menu of the buffet for dinner to be with at least one idea higher quality, because it daes not correspond to the 5 stars of the resort

Visited in July but booked as a last minute. Unfortunately while we were there they were having the terrible heatwave so we didn’t have the normal chill out beach holiday we would have , however this can’t be helped . We were delighted with our deluxe room, very spacious, clean , lovely furnishings , huge bathroom with double shower and separate bedroom area and a fabulous walk in closet , and right next to the pool . Two sun beds outside which were a godsend as we used these more than anything and they were in the shade which was an absolute must. Also a lifeguard on everyday 10am till 7pm , which is when the pool opens and closes . This is where we were slightly conflicted , the food at breakfast and dinner was absolutely amazing ! So much choice, excellent quality every single day , well prepared, and fresh . All the food areas were spotless, and the waiters and waitresses were amazing . There is not one thing we could find wrong any any point , and would say this was 5 star as the hotel is described as . This is we’re we are conflicted .. The food at lunch at the beach bar was not up to scratch for a 5 star . I know some people may say we are picky , but I expected better quality , presentation and choice , especially when you have to pay for this . We just found it lacking , ie one very small piece of ham on a sandwich , which sent back . We complained another day about the quality of our lunch as it was just not up to scratch . This was obviously the relayed to the manager of this resort as were received a call asking could we go for a meeting in reception. We agreed to go , however after explaining we didn’t feel like the food that you have to purchase wasn’t 5 star quality , and that it seemed strange as the buffet food was excellent, we were then spoke to in a way that I have to say was a little undermining. We sat and listened to the manager, who told us that no-one else had the same opinion as us , and that the food was up to par. We explained that 12euros for a sandwich with one small piece of ham in our opinion wasn’t ok . I feel like we had to agree to disagree . We also mentioned the cleanliness of some areas and especially the toilets which service the beach during the day . I have to admit they were not clean at all , and it was unacceptable at a resort like this . We left the meeting with a slightly sour taste in our mouth , and decided to just get on with throw rest of our holiday . We did eat at Yialos a couple of times and the food actually was very nice . Drinks are slightly high, 5.5 euros for a coke 12-15 euros for a cocktail , but I think this is like this more all over Europe now . The beach is excellent for children and I think this is definitely more a family hotel . We did have a nice holiday , however we would not re-visit again .

Dear Mrs. Lorry, Thank you for reviewing your recent stay at Anthemus Sea Beach Hotel & Spa. We value your feedback and would like to address some key points. We recognize your two TripAdvisor reviews, one in July and another in September, both stemming from a single stay. While we appreciate the improved rating in your second review, please note that it still affects our overall rating due to the initial negative review. We want to emphasize that we do not incentivize positive ratings and truly value honest feedback. Regarding your meeting with our manager, we apologize if it didn't meet your expectations. Our sincere intention was to address your concerns. Although you've decided not to revisit, we hope you might reconsider in the future, giving us another opportunity to showcase our hospitality. Thank you for your feedback, and we hope that you will return to Halkidiki in the future. Best Regards, Anthemus Sea Beach Hotel & Spa Team

i had researched this hotel for a while before booking , we stayed for a week from 23rd Aug 2023, i must say from the first minute of arrival to our departure was fantastic, the hotel is magnificent, nothing was a issue and the staff would sort any desires immediately. Location amazing, hotel amazing, food amazing, pools and beach amazing. We were upgraded to a junior suite on arrival and cold drink of sparkly awaited us in our room, the room was lovely, clean and spacious, large bathroom, a very comfy king size bed and pillows and a huge TV, a nice sitting area and balcony. the pools and beach had ample comfy sun beds and all had fresh clean towels rolled on them and there was waiter service on the beach. Food was excellent, a huge variety and high quality food, waiters were alway around to help. the bars were class, good ales and spirits, nothing was watered down here. there are plenty of amenities, food, clothing and much more. For me i loved the quiet pool on level one, it was so peaceful before spending the afternoon on the spectacular private beach. The holiday was very relaxing and peaceful, i can not find any issues . The Anthemus is a perfect holiday and hotel Steve & Marie
