Accomodation is miniscule and you will be fighting for space even if you are alone. The small town is on the dead side of things, with an unbearable rotten egg smell everywhere.
Not surprisingly the nearby SPA was just about empty. On the positive side Bagno Vignoni is only 20 minutes away and probably more welcoming as far as services and restaurants go.

Lino and Ornella are wonderful hosts! From the moment we arrived in Bagni San Filippo, we felt at home. A small village located on a hill about two hours south of Florence and two hours north of Rome, it was exactly what we were hoping we would find to get a true experience of rural Tuscan life. The people were friendly, and the scenery was like a painting. If you're looking for a true Tuscan experience, we wholeheartedly recommend... More
