As outside picture suggests very oldy world decor throughout, which I quite liked. Room was ok. Four poster bed was quite rickety and needed tightening up. Bathroom was quite big with a nice big shower. We booked dinner in restaurant and both ordered steak. Worst steak ever! Asked for medium, got some sort of boiled/stewed pale over cooked grizzled piece... More

One night stop over, very nice staff welcome, the building decor, and grounds spotlessly clean, good size room with comfortable bed, restaurant waiter efficient and thoughtful, although we found the menu somewhat limited and the food rather bland, cooked breakfast far too greasy and several items overcooked, good hotel visit rather spoiled by untalented chef.

Lovely family-run hotel, with as much charm and character inside as outside. Friendly staff who gave great service. Comfortable and clean rooms with great views. Excellent food with tip top table service.

We have just had our daughters wedding reception at Oakwood hall and we cannot praise the staff and the venue highly enough. From when we arrived to canopies and presence after the church service we were met with professional staff who made everything special and efficient. The wedding breakfast was enjoyed by everybody and was served hot on hot plates... More

My partner and I stayed here for one night. The room was dated and furniture distressed. We had a four poster bed, but the drapes were hanging off in places which made it look messy. The tea and coffee area was old, we couldn't find the kettle which was on the floor as it wouldn't reach the table. The bathroom... More

We enjoyed our stay in this magnificent building; it was nice to have the opportunity to see inside an old country house. It feels secluded, bound by trees and tall hedging, yet is near to other houses. The garden and patio area is small but relaxing and peaceful. Our room was fine and comfortable with plenty of room. There did... More

Very upset to have very poor service on drinks & buffet after a funeral. The staff weren't ready despite us arriving 15min late. No greeting drinks and very poor quality, old fashioned buffet. No appologies to the organiser despite written complaint

Poor service, high prices, awful food. What can I say? I was there for a wedding, and they were obviously not prepared, as there was only 1 person behind the bar, so you had to wait a long time to be served. I nearly choked when I got a bitt for the drinks. WOW! Expensive!! At £85 a night for... More

Lovely old hotel. Could have stayed at Premier Inn for the same price and I wish I had done. I would have had a good nights sleep or my money back. I had room 5. The bed was terrible. I never slept a wink. So much so I had to see what I was lying on - I could feel... More

Enjoyed our stay in a very spacious room on the top floor. Stayed for 2 nights, before and after our daughter's wedding at East Riddlesden Hall. The building is very impressive, bed was comfortable, staff very helpful and great breakfast. Would stay again as really liked its individuality.
