We stayed overnight at this amazing hotel. The staff was very polite and accommodating. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The hotel is not very far from the St-Felicien Zoo which is a great place to visit.
We were cycling around Lac St. Jean and Hotel Du Jardin was our day three stop over. The gentleman at reception was efficient but definitely not friendly. Our room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. It is within walking distance of the Metro, so a cyclist can walk to pick up essentials such as food, beer , wine or water. Life is good. The breakfast was okay and that’s all, and once again the staff was efficient, but definitely not friendly. However for dinner in the Bistro at the hotel we had a very friendly server, full of smiles. Perhaps the evening staff’s manager could speak to the day time employees about service. Just a suggestion. Our dinner in the Bistro was pleasantly done, but not gourmet. Would I stop again; absolutely; I just wouldn’t be surprised if smiles were in short supply.…
Very clean and modern hotel. Staff is very friendly as well. The only thing that was a little disappointing is we had people who were not participating in the hockey tournament on our floor. If you have never experienced this, it means at the parents meet up in the hallway and the kids as well. There will be noise, resonable, but there will be some. It was sad to be warned . I believe that in this case it should have been the other way around. Especially for the amount of rooms our 3 teams rented. And being told at 11pm to go back in our rooms by a security guard was a first. I mean what do you expect with a hockey tournament. But despite this fact, I would go back but without our hockey team.
We stayed just one night on a tour of Quebec (booked by Receptour). This place is really off the beaten track but close to the "Zoo Sauvage", where we wanted to spend the day. Architecturally it's an eyesore from outside but well furbished inside with a very small pool that you can't swim in.
This hotel is located at a very nice area with ice age lake (Lac St-Jean), farmland, lots of fun activities for kids. We stayed here for two nights, but wish could stay more. Had a nice dinner at the hotel restaurant. The room was large and clean.
Very good attention and proper place to taste some of the local speciallities, bleuets. Prices correct and very good local beer. As the place is tn the hotel of the same name, no parking problems. We went there after trying other local restaurants. No doubt one of the best of this town. We enjoyed it and recommend it.
We were touring around Canada and the agency booked 2 nights in this hotel but one night would have been sufficient. The bedding was good but the location is not that great. The hotel is located in an industrial zone. The breakfast was not that great. The staff was friendly.
We only stopped for one night here passing through the area. The staff were friendly, room was large, clean and comfortable. We had a very nice dinner in the bistro which was reasonable priced a day good quality. Nice and close to the zoo if you are in the area.
Its was not our first choice but there was no room left at the other hotel but it's supposed to be a 4 stars. Compare to other in the region it might be but not compare to big city. The rate was a bit to much for my taste, but it was clean, confortable and enough for one night. Getting a microwave to warn up baby milk was an adventure since the only microwave was not accessible at the time and in an employee private room. The crib was nice and came up with everything needed and ready... not like many hotel where you need to figure it out yourself. We didn't try the restaurant but first look the menu seem to had for all taste.
We had booked this hotel in advance and we had a fast and efficient check-in. The rooms are large enough and amenities were available; Dinner for our group of 10 friends was fine. Personnel at the desk and in the dining room were very friendly. Enough free outside parking available
