Detailed Reviews
We were recommended this Hotel as the one we normally stay in was closed due to the pandemic. This hotel has been renovated to a very high standard and is very clean. Subtle lighting around the hotel and balconies at night is such a pretty sight. We also want to give a very special mention to the cleaners who were amazing. The rooms were cleaned spotless everyday and the towel arrangement left on the beds each day were very creative and a shame to disturb. Shaped like flowers, it was little things like that we loved. A special mention to our cleaner Andrea and her team that worked tirelessly to make our stay that much more enjoyable. All the staff were friendly and the breakfast was amazing with so much choice, you have to try it to see what we mean. All in all, definitely recommended you won’t be disappointed. It’s right on the main Protaras strip with plenty of bars and restaurants. Give it a try!

Great boutique hotel in the center of Protaras! One of the cleanest hotels we stayed at, everything was spotless, from the rooms to the garden to the restaurant of the hotel. Very comfortable bed and pillows.
We also liked a lot the pool and its sitting area. The pool wasn't full of chlorine like other pools and it was spotless also!
Their breakfast was great! Not a huge buffet, but everything they offered was of local ingredients and very good quality! (e.x. Their halloumi cheese was from the area, the olives were local...) We loved especially their breads! They offered delicious, freshly baked bread with sourdough!
Their personnel were happy and smiley, very helpful and polite.
Even their pool snacks were cheap, freshly prepared and delicious, especially their village salad with local ingredients.
We loved the place and their philosophy! We 've been to 5 star hotels and they didn't offer such quality, cleanliness and service!
For sure we will visit again!
One problem was that because it is in the center of Protaras and our sea view room was just over the main road, you could hear the music from the opposite pub until 2:00am but this is the case for most hotels that are found on the main road. But it was ok with us and we loved the fact that we parked in their parking and we just visit the restaurants on foot.

We have just spent a week at the Kokkinos. Well, what can I say? A beautifully clean hotel and very well decorated. The room was supplied with water, tea, coffee chocolate and the best hairdryer so no need to pack one. The bathroom was very clean and modern with blue affluent lighting. Breakfast was served by wonderful staff at the pool terrace with a great self service buffet that caters for everyone. If you love a bit of people watching, book the balcony with sea view which has a great overlook of the restaurants and bars (in addition to the sea!). The beautiful Fig tree bay is a 6/7 minute walk with sun beds charged at €2.50 and well worth it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will return. Thank you to all the hardworking staff for making this a relaxing and enjoyable break.

The hotel is located towards one end of the Protaras strip, within a short walk of both the main Protaras beach and Fig Tree Bay.
All bars and restaurants are within walking distance so there is no need for a car if you just want to enjoy what's on offer in Protaras (Although I would suggest hiring a car to explore the island).
The hotel is split between 2 blocks, with a pool in between. As a result, there is a lot of shade around the pool at various times. However, it was a little cramped around the pool.
We stayed in a pool facing room, which was spacious with a large comfortable bed and kept spotlessly clean, as were all areas of the hotel. The room was also very quiet considering the location of the hotel.
We only had breakfast at the hotel, but were very impressed with the variety of food, from pastries (Croissants, Danish and Cypriot Spinach and Cheese), through to fruit, yogurt, cold meats, cheese and a wide selection of hot items.
However, the dining room seemed to be pretty small for the size of the hotel and it was very crowded at breakfast.
In summary, the hotel was a very good for the price we paid and we would consider staying again.

I'm visiting the specific Boutique Hotel the last 4 years constantly. According to my opinion there is no better option in Protaras. Spotless, Warm welcoming, Friendly approach, Value for money, Variety breakfast by the pool, Parking, Location, Service. You have just to park your car and to take it when you check out as everything is on a walkable distance. There is possibility of Snacks or Lunch in much better prices compare to the restaurants that surrounds the Hotel. The pool is always clean and there is a shadow at afternoon so if you has had enough of Sunshine at the beach then you can cool down at the pool whereby you have amazingly relaxing atmosphere. Maya & Constantinos are simply impeccable

The hotel is in a fantastic location right on the strip with free parking. Our rooms were in B Block. Very clean, 2 single beds pushed together, Not too uncomfortable but amazing pillows. Room nice size with a mini fridge and fresh bottled water. Great shower but towels small and thin. The rooms are spotless. Breakfast was OK just a bit monotonous every day. Staff polite enough with the exception with the woman on reception with glasses who I had a run in with over getting clean beach towels very rude. You pay €10 deposit for the towels and can change them every day between 9am & 2pm. The pool we never used even though plenty of sunbeds it is in thr shade all the time. We had a problem with the air-conditioning it is preset and it was either not working at all, it was too warm or freezing and couldn't turn off only if you opened the door but then wouldn't turn back on. We complained several times it was never fixed. The hotel is very popular but we won't be returning again.

Excellent experience!!!
Staff and hotel owners are very friendly, professional and service oriented. We felt their hospitality in every gesture.
The hotel location is really good, near sandy beaches, shops, restaurants at the vicinity. The rooms ate spacious, with a balcony, very comfortable beds, breakfast with a big variety and of good quality food. The swimming pool is s big and there is one for children too, all areas, internal and external are very clean. For those who depart late, the hotel offers the possibility to keep the luggages in lockers and to take a shower in the shower room so that you can enjoy the day. The hotel parking is also an asset.
Great. for singles, couples and families. We have already booked it for next year!

This was my first trip to Cyprus. I am in love with this island forever and thanks to the Kokkinos hotel for being a part of my holiday in paradise! The hotel is great! Everything is perfect from start to finish. At first glance, you fall in love with this hotel, as you see an excellent modern expensive renovation, the floors and walls are lined with chic glossy tiles. Everything is stylish, tasteful and European. Very friendly staff who are always ready to help. A very varied breakfast with delicious fried bacon and unforgettable croissants! Delicious coffee from a modern coffee machine. Excellent location 3 minutes from the best beach in Protaras Sunrise beach, which we liked much more than the famous Nissi in Ayia Napa. I will definitely return to Protaras soon, because now I cannot live without him! And of course to Kokkinos because it is a top-class hotel. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
P. S. Unfortunately, the photos were taken a little, because in 7 days it was necessary to do a lot.

Just returned from 10 days at the kokkinous, what a lovely hotel.
When we arrived there was a bottle of water, tea, coffee ,milk and 2 chocolates in our room.
Beds were the most comfortable I've had.
Air conditioning was good.
This is the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. Rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels. Cleaners work so hard all around the hotel .
Breakfast served by pool area and such a great choice and staff are so friendly and helpful.
Checkout was 12pm and we had a late flight, unfortunately we couldn't extend room but there is luggage storage with code numbers and showers to use with shower gel and use of hairdryer.
Location brilliant
Thanks for a lovely holiday and Would definitely return

We booked this hotel after seeing decent reviews but unfortunately after this visit, we won't be back to stay at it.
The hotel does have positives.....it's spotless, rooms are cleaned every day.....including change of sheets/towels.
Breakfast is a smaller buffet with choices of cereals/fruit juices/some fresh fruit, some from tin/ cold meats/breads/warm foods.
Rooms have tea/coffee making facilities.
Now what spoils it is that the rooms are only really suitable for 2 adults(not 3 and definitely not families). Wardrobe space is exceptionally limited and the manager had to source a clothes rail for the room.
Also, round the pool area it's small and there's excessive music from speakers from morning to evening even with no guests round the area....that's ok perhaps in a bigger hotel with more guests/more space but not here. Definitely does not enhance the atmosphere one bit. Also if you travel with TUI, no rep/noticeboard here

I’m not aware who these lights are turned off but the blackout curtains in the room cuts out the red light. The lights did not cause us any trouble.
There is a section of the pool that was in the sun all day ( the one end ) when we went .
