Brand new boutique hotel of supreme quality and under renovation for 2 years now. Enjoys an excellent location in the heart of Protaras resort and only steps away from the famous and awarded blue flag beach of Fig Tree Bay with its crystal clear water and golden sand. This elegant boutique hotel is brand new, with stylish décor and high quality textured details and fabrics, with private furnished balcony. The talking point of the hotel is the signature Red swimming pool, which makes it one of the most sophisticated hotel pools in the world and unique to the island of Cyprus. Definitely an unforgettable swimming pool experience.

Booked a 2 week holiday with easyjet holidays and had a wonderful time .The rooms are lovely with a great walk in shower, good air con and fridge, we were left water in room .We had a view over the pool and a sea view ,we were in block B and considering the hotel is on the strip had no noise issues at all. The breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. The pool is in the shade but that didn't bother me ,you are only a short walk from the beach .Wouldn't hesitate to go back ,irs a lovely hotel.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks. I knew it had been recently refurbished and i was not dis-appointed. Rooms very clean and a good size. Maid service everyday. Had free safe and air-conditioning, ,mini fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Staff were outstanding from Vicky in reception, Maya,Anna and George in the restaurant and the cleaning staff. All were very friendly, efficient and we left as their friends. I wasn't expecting much of the breakfast but was surprised to see the variety including fried English breakfast selection. The hotel is on the Protaras strip where all the bars and restaurants are located. So ideal if like me mobility is an issue. Five minutes from the beach. Pool and pool area is fine but probably not enough for teenage kids. We were a party of 2 couples and had the most wonderful , relaxing, experience at the Kokkinos Hotel. We will definitely be returning next year.

The hotel is in a fantastic location right on the strip with free parking. Our rooms were in B Block. Very clean, 2 single beds pushed together, Not too uncomfortable but amazing pillows. Room nice size with a mini fridge and fresh bottled water. Great shower but towels small and thin. The rooms are spotless. Breakfast was OK just a bit monotonous every day. Staff polite enough with the exception with the woman on reception with glasses who I had a run in with over getting clean beach towels very rude. You pay €10 deposit for the towels and can change them every day between 9am & 2pm. The pool we never used even though plenty of sunbeds it is in thr shade all the time. We had a problem with the air-conditioning it is preset and it was either not working at all, it was too warm or freezing and couldn't turn off only if you opened the door but then wouldn't turn back on. We complained several times it was never fixed. The hotel is very popular but we won't be returning again.

We have just spent a week at the Kokkinos. Well, what can I say? A beautifully clean hotel and very well decorated. The room was supplied with water, tea, coffee chocolate and the best hairdryer so no need to pack one. The bathroom was very clean and modern with blue affluent lighting. Breakfast was served by wonderful staff at the pool terrace with a great self service buffet that caters for everyone. If you love a bit of people watching, book the balcony with sea view which has a great overlook of the restaurants and bars (in addition to the sea!). The beautiful Fig tree bay is a 6/7 minute walk with sun beds charged at €2.50 and well worth it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will return. Thank you to all the hardworking staff for making this a relaxing and enjoyable break.

Such a fantastic hotel. Could not fault a thing! The hotel is immaculately clean. The breakfasts delicious and the staff are amazing. From arrival to departure, they could not do enough for you. Always going above and beyond the call of duty. In the center of everything, without being loud. We booked a pool view, but had to be moved near the end of our holiday, due to a plumbing issue *these things happen*, the hotel was fully booked (not in the least surprised, it is fab) so was moved to a front facing room. Both fantastic, and you see the sunrise from the front facing rooms. I personally preferred the pool view, just a little quiter, but nothing to give to give you concern. Just my personal preference. The only reason I am mentioning it, is because, when we were booking the hotel we were given different room options. You won't be disappointed in any room that you choose. I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone Involved for helping make our holiday so special. THANK YOU

Just returned from 10 days at the kokkinous, what a lovely hotel. When we arrived there was a bottle of water, tea, coffee ,milk and 2 chocolates in our room. Beds were the most comfortable I've had. Air conditioning was good. This is the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. Rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels. Cleaners work so hard all around the hotel . Breakfast served by pool area and such a great choice and staff are so friendly and helpful. Checkout was 12pm and we had a late flight, unfortunately we couldn't extend room but there is luggage storage with code numbers and showers to use with shower gel and use of hairdryer. Location brilliant Thanks for a lovely holiday and Would definitely return

Lovely hotel, definitely stay again. Central to the strip 200m from the beach Nice pool but loses the sun late afternoon Had a lovely sea view room in 301 Breakfast I enjoyed, partner thought it could do with changing up a bit Staff were excellent and we were hard work at times. Kept loosing the room key, lost sunglasses, didn’t know how to work the room service button and sent the maintenance man to the wrong room when we could not open the safe… but still the staff were the best. Car park gets busy but there is a bigger car park round the back with plenty of spaces. Hotel can direct you. You can stay beachfront at somewhere like capo bay, sunrise, flamingo hotels which all look nice but I Loved this hotel kokkinos… great value for money and love the pub ‘cheers’ opposite for the best strawberry daiquiri on the strip 100% recommended

The hotel is located towards one end of the Protaras strip, within a short walk of both the main Protaras beach and Fig Tree Bay. All bars and restaurants are within walking distance so there is no need for a car if you just want to enjoy what's on offer in Protaras (Although I would suggest hiring a car to explore the island). The hotel is split between 2 blocks, with a pool in between. As a result, there is a lot of shade around the pool at various times. However, it was a little cramped around the pool. We stayed in a pool facing room, which was spacious with a large comfortable bed and kept spotlessly clean, as were all areas of the hotel. The room was also very quiet considering the location of the hotel. We only had breakfast at the hotel, but were very impressed with the variety of food, from pastries (Croissants, Danish and Cypriot Spinach and Cheese), through to fruit, yogurt, cold meats, cheese and a wide selection of hot items. However, the dining room seemed to be pretty small for the size of the hotel and it was very crowded at breakfast. In summary, the hotel was a very good for the price we paid and we would consider staying again.
