Do not trust this hotel and its management. Hospitality zero (especially against kids) and restrooms dirty. Swimming pool small, crowded and dirty. Nearby beach small, crowded with rocks. Very pricey for the quality. You must drive to reach other places outside the hotel.
Smooth check in, in the early hours. Requested to change room the next morning as on the ground floor, very accomadating 👍 Food choice very good, staff very curtious, lots of young families with a great family vibe. Malama beach brilliant at the bottom of the steps with Kalifi restaurant great for a cool drink.
Could not find a fault , amazing hotel, food, facilities, staff and beach. Would book again without question. The pools (indoor and out are amazing. The spa is out of this world (just wish there was an adult only time for the indoor pool.
We have just returned from our 3rd stay at Malama and as usual, our stay was wonderful! Rooms have been updated and they are lovely, clean and spacious. Everyone at Malama goes out of their way to help and be as friendly as possible. The facilities at this hotel are fantastic too, I was tempted to use the gym it looked so good - but I was on holiday to relax! The pools are lovely, food is delicious and plentiful - diet when you get home! We generally are Half-board and find that suits us as neither of us are drinkers and we find the local shops etc have plenty on offer and the bakery is great too. We came for a much needed de-stress and certainly feel that was what we got. My husband used the diving centre as he usually does, this is a real bonus for us that it is 'on site'. I made use of the Spa and had a few wonderful massages and treatments. For us, Malama delivers everything we need for a holiday and it has now become our first choice holiday place.…
We spend 8 days at Malarma with all inclusive with see view. It was lovely and relaxing. Good food. Super friendly staff and good massage. The kids love the entertainment in the bar in the evening Highly recommendable if you need to recharge batteries like we did…
I read other peoples reviews before booking this place myself. I was impressed with the reviews, however had some small reservations. Could the reviews really be that good? Having just returned from a one week family stay here, I can honestly say both the place and every single member of staff that we met were amazing. The rooms are spacious, modern, well equipped and cleaned daily, our room by the very nice and funny Illiana. The pool area was a new experience to me! You do not have to get up at silly o'clock to reserve the loungers and parasols for your family, as these are allocated to you, free of charge, for the duration of your stay along with a fresh change of towels when required. Thank you to Yannis and the other lifeguards for making us feel so welcome. There is also a fully equipped gym that is free to use during your stay. We booked half board so had breakfast and evening meals. The restaurant food at all times was plentiful and of superb quality with a great variety of dishes to choose from. Again, the restaurant staff were fantastic people that could not do enough for you to enjoy the dining experience. Thank you Aleksandar, George, Greta, Tomo, to mention a few. There are many more staff and all were fantastic. The reception staff spoke perfect English and again were super accommodating and on hand to ensure your stay was as perfect as could be. I would like to thank all staff at Malama holiday village for making our weeks stay a special week that we will never forget. We intend to return again hopefully some time in the near future. Best wishes to all Malama staff.…
Malama Beach Holiday Village was a great place to stay. We sadly had only four days there, but we will certainly come back. Everyone who worked there were professional and very helpful and friendly. We got the feeling of that this place was a very nice place to work at. It looked very good organised. Specially 2 of the waiters gave us a great time during our meals. Thank you very much to Nicos and Doros 🥰 Everything was clean, the rooms, the pool area, the restaurant, the fitness room and the garden. Our apartment for 4 people was spacious and modern. The food were delicious and well prepared with various sorts of dishes every day. It is also a very nice place to stay in if you want to take long walks by the coast. A beautiful area. It is a very nice beach right outside of Malama Beach Holiday Village. I certainly will recommend this place to everyone🥰…
Stayed at Malama in August 2021 for 14 days all inclusive as a family of 6 - 2 adults and our 4 kids aged 18, 14, 3 and 1 year old. - Rooms were spacious and modern. Cleaning staff was wonderful and did a great job everyday, coming back to clean whenever was suitable for us. However we had been assigned rooms on the ground floor and because of that we suffered from an invasion of cockroaches in both our rooms, They sent staff to spray the room about 3 times but that didn 't help at all so we ended up asking to have a change of rooms. Reception was then kind enough to move our teenagers (who had the biggest roachproblem) to another room that was not on the ground floor, after that had no problems with roaches during the rest of our stay. - Food was unfortunately terrible for the most part of our 14 days stay. Buffet was not good at all, bad choices and very bland food. The whole family lived off of fries and salad for 14 days. Pasta station was the only thing that was okay but unfortunately it was only open 4 times during our whole stay for 2 weeks. From the grill station the only eadible thing was the salad they put on your plate. Staff was friendly and doing their best though so no complaints there. - Poolarea was okey, on the smaller side for such a big hotel. Could also benefit from a little more happening around the pool during the days. A good thing was that you were assigned loungechairs at the beginning of your arrival which meant that you didn't have to worry about finding free chairs everyday. Extra thank you to the man that works by the "pooloffice" assigning you your seats, he was fantastic and so helpful and friendly. - The choice of drinks included in the all inclusive package was terrible. Not a lot to choose from and the ones they had honestly didn't taste good at all. Although all the other guests we talked to that didn't have all inc and therefor had to order and pay for their drinks of the other menu said that those drinks were fantastic. -The bars really need to step up their game. The area and scenery by the bars is fantastic but there's no holiday feeling and I'm guessing that's why it was almost empty most nights after 21.30. The music was the same tracks on repeat every single day and night for 14 days. Music was also on such low volume that it felt even unnecessary to be playing music, at least at night. When we asked the staff to change or turn up the music some of the staff said they'd love to and asked their manager/supervisor who simply just said no. On the other hand some nights they had live music and that was so loud you basically couldn't be sat in the bar area. The singer was screaming and she played the same set of songs on every night she performed, so not great! Have to say that most of the staff was fantastic though. Especially Carolina, Christiania, Stella, Kendeas from the bar, the "towel/poolman" and our cleaning lady was fantastic. They were always smiling and trying to do their absolute best to attend to our every need and question. The whole family had a great time chatting with all of you and thank you for taking such great care of our children. The 2 little ones Jamie and Riley absolutely loved staying at Malama (Riley even took her very first steps in your pool) so maybe we'll consider coming back in the future.…
I don't even know where to start. I've been back for a few days now and not a day goes by without me and the family wishing we were still there. This was my kids first trip (age 3 and 4). The hotel itself is perfect. There is not a single aspect I'm unhappy with or a single thing I would change. The arrival: Upon arrival (we arrived at night). We were greeted by the receptionist with our keys, wifi and other valuable information along with a blue bracelet that represented customers that had an All Inclusive stay. We were seven people in total and had a lot of luggage, a porter drove us and the bags to our rooms (we had two, opposite of each other). The location: Just at the beach (a small slope down). Walking distance from a few supermarkets (important if you have kids that drink milk), kiosks, bakery and a pharmacy. If you want to purchase various items (clothes, accessories, memorabilia etcetera) a ten minute taxi ride will take you to restaurants and souvenir shops in Protaras. I recommend the taxiservices provided by George and George (+0035799007044). The rooms: We had two, two bedroom apartments on entry level (ground floor). The rooms are modern, spacious and have all amenities required, for example:a toaster, microwave, kettle, TV, hair dryer etcetera. The bedroom had a nice king size (I believe) bed with a side table on each side, a wardrobe (with a safety deposit box that had an extra fee) and a dressing table with a mirror. The bathroom was modern and had everything you would need. The living room had two sofas, a coffee table, a dining table and the kitchen part (with a fridge, stove etcetera) was inside the living room. The rooms were cleaned daily and with fresh set of towels, toilet paper etcetera replenished everyday. The food: Three larger buffets a day that had everything you can imagine, fish, red meat, vegetables, chicken, desserts, fruits, bread, cold cuts, drinks and much, much more. As my wife has celiac disease glutenfree options were a must and they had options for all larger meals (such as bread, desserts, food etcetera). The taste was great, the chefs did an amazing job preparing and cooking the food. The pool area: Hands down the absolute best staff you can possible find. When you visit this hotel make sure to talk to Thosoris (Theo) at the pool reception as he is the most amazing person you will ever meet in a hotel, this comes from someone who has been to atleast 30 different hotels in different countries. Make sure to say hi to him from me aswell. They help you with fresh towels and you can book your sunbed for your entire stay at the pool reception. They will move you around if you wish to get other sunbeds once they are empty. I cannot salute the pool reception staff enough, this also applies to the bars, especially the top bar. Overall all the staff members at all three pool locations are amazing. The pools themselves consist of three different ones with different sizes. They are somewhat cold (subjective, around 20c) but they are planning on heating some, if not all of them in the future. The pools are standard, two of them are short (at some areas) enough for children to play in, one pool is completely for kids. The beach; Does not belong to the hotel, there is a restaurant/bar on the beach where you can rent jetskies, smaller boats and other stuff. The prices are alright. Renting a jetskie was about €50 for 30 minutes. The sand part of the beach is rather small but you are extremely close to the Mediterranean Sea. Overall: Easily a 5/5. I had the best stay and enjoyed my visit so much that I'm most definitely visiting this hotel again as soon as possible. If you are considering booking a stay at this hotel, stop, just book and enjoy. Thank you Malama Beach and thank you to all the staff who work there. Best regards Homan…
We stayed here for a week in October and I’ve got to admit it was one of the best holiday’s we’ve had. The food was absoloutely fantastic, so much choice to meet everyone’s needs. The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The complex was always clean. The only downfall of this place is the location as it is abit far out from the everything however only 12-15 euros in a taxi to the main strip.
