My partner and myself stayed at Amore hotel in May 2022. On my first day there I became very unwell and ended up in the hospital, who later put me on a strict diet for the rest of my holiday. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at amore hotel. They attended to my every need and went out of their way to make me the food I needed. I can’t fault this hotel at all. Amazing location and amazing people 🥰 Olivia

Stayed at Amore for just 2 nights. The room was spacious and the beds really comfortable. Bedding and towels fresh and clean with complimentary toiletries. The rooms could do with a bit of tlc. The swimming pool was large with plenty of sun loungers. There was a children's pool too. Every member of staff was absolutely amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay again

From end to May up tp July Amore was our 2nd vacation home as every weekend we were staying there. Yes it is basic but big apartments ideal for families and especially the one in ground floor just next to pool. Huge clean pool. Staff very friendly and Mr. Panicos the owners very very attentive. Indeed is not a luxury hotel and rather basic but really good choice for families and value for the money paid. You can walk to the nearest beach ad 5 mins by car to Protaras. Many restaurants and bars in the area. Nice place for families with budget price for that area.

Stay away, Amore Rentals does not care about you once they get paid. I booked a villa, through expedia managed by Amore rentals. During Covid i maintained contact asking for an extension on their cancellation policy, (which you need to read very carefully). As it turned out my country had shut down all travel, and i was unable to get to Sorrento due to covid. I requested a refund or a credit in light of the circumstances. Amore rentals was not interested in extending any credit . They took my entire rental cost provided only excuses even under the covid travel ban showed no empathy to the situation and had the audacity to blame expedia. If you value your money do not stay on any property managed by Amore rentals. They do not care about their clients. Stay away.

Old building, decrepit shower which just about worked.Horrible beds and sofa. Bad wi-fi signal. No lift. The whole thing needs complete refurbishment. I shall not be returning to this place ever. Only positive: The staff was friendly.

Stayed here for 5 nights in 2 studios. The location is fine, across from bus stop and easy walking to local amenities. The reception area is very welcoming but the rooms we had were basic and the bathroom could do with a refurbishment but they were clean. The stair wells and walk ways were poorly lit so difficult to navigate. I had to ask receptionist to put the lights on as my elderly mother fell down the stairs due to the lights not being on and it was dark. The following night the lights were on earlier. Can not comment on the food as did not eat t the property.

Recently returned from a great stay at the Amore Hotel Apartments. Although the room hadn’t been modernised for some time it was very clean and comfortable and all amenities worked perfectly fine. The room was a lot bigger than I imagined it would be and being at the front of the hotel offered a lovely sea view with large windows which opened fully offering a lovely breeze. Numerous sun beds and brolly around the large pool meant there was always somewhere to lie even in busy times. The staff were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. For the money my husband and I were very happy and would return.

We stayed there 3 nights. Beach about 5 minutes walk. Area itself bit dissapointing, couple of bars and restaurants, streets around hotel were dark and dirty. We used to take taxi to Protaras for 12€. Hotel needs a reconstruction, especially the pool and rooms. Kitchen equipped, but old. Rooms with old furniture and bathroom clean, but towels bit smelly. We didnt try restaurant there. Wouldnt come back, mostly for bad location.

We spent a week at this hotel as a family of three and I have to say I have mixed feelings . First of all the area where the apartments are , Kapparis village , is in my opinion an undeveloped , rough and a little bit dirty so if you are coming for the first time in Cyprus I wouldn’t recommend to stay around there . You could say that Amore is a very nice place given the location . It’s true there is a lovely beach close by , filled with more local people than tourists and a few restaurants where you could have a decent dinner . I recommend Karas fish tavern and Just Italian as really good places . About the hotel , clearly the selling point is the reception , once you get there it’s all very nice and beautifully decorated ,clean , white . Our room was large , we had a studio as self catering although we didn’t cook anything but all white and blue again and that feeling of space . Floor was clean and nothing smelly , sheets clean . Air con was working and there was a safe in the room which we didn’t use . Now comes the negative part , the bathroom was very outdated ,awful rusty shower with a window which haven’t been cleaned in a while , spider webs on the walls , the sink tap cover kept on falling off every time you wanted to wash hands or brush teeth , towels were provided only twice a week and toiletries only once at check in . I strongly believe that no matter where you stay if the room is cleaned and there is something missing it should be replaced . I should not have to go to reception and tell them I don’t have towels or toilet paper or shower gel etc. There was no hairdryer in the room , I got it from reception but once in the room you cannot plug it in , all the plugs are uk and the dryer European . The staff is helpful if you ask them something they will help but that is all . There is no real customer service which actually makes the difference . The swimming pool is ok , area around it poorly maintained and people from outside are allowed to come and use the place as long as they buy something from the bar but it’s very tricky as the day we were there some dodgy people came over and used the pool women fully dressed so it’s just not clean . Breakfast can be bought at €7 per adult , again extremely basic but at least you have acces to coffee if you really want one in the morning . If you don’t wake up in time you might find no food at all , it’s very limited . Did not try lunch or dinner . There is a gym , sauna . On the last day we used the showers downstairs to freshen up , again no towels provided or shower gel . It feels like all is about to fall on you , it’s really old and used . I believe that if they make a few changes it could be better but it is a 2 star hotel and I gave it 3 because nothing was smelly and I slept and it was safe .
