The Iliada Beach Hotel garners high marks for its friendly staff and excellent service, which many guests find enhances their stay. Nestled in a prime location, the hotel's proximity to the beach and picturesque views are repeatedly praised, as is its overall cleanliness. While the hotel's value for money is acknowledged, some visitors have noted issues with room assignments and dated facilities.
The atmosphere strikes a chord with travelers who enjoy the restaurant ambiance and relaxing music, though noise levels sometimes detract from the experience. The rooms are generally appreciated for their spaciousness and cleanliness, but there are occasional concerns regarding noise and maintenance. Amenities are well-liked, particularly the beach access and food options, but the Wi-Fi receives mixed reviews.

Detailed Reviews
Me and my mum stayed at the Iliada for 8 nights when we were here for a family holiday in late May. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were delighted with our choice.
Nice big lobby and very quiet at night time even though its on the main strip.
The rooms are big, spacious and clean with everything you need is supplied. Bed is comfy, the balcony is big and overall very comfortable. The housekeeping staff are thorough and always maintain the high standard of the room.
The staff are lovely and very helpful. I came back one night and found the handle to my room wasn’t working. The guy at the desk tried everything to open it and when he couldn’t he immediately checked me into a spare room for the night. The next morn-after breakfast the handle had been repaired and gained access back to my room.
The breakfast is vast and tasty and its great this is included for all guests.
The pool area and bar is basic but well run and very relaxing.
The hotel is right by the beach and on the main strip close to all ships, bars and restaurants.
Only downside is the free wifi didn’t work for my mum but you can purchase the faster wifi for 7 days for just 20 euros.
For the price we paid its outstanding value for money and would highly recommend tbis hotel.

Hi all! I would like to leave a review not only about this hotel, good 4ka, on the first line of Flamingo Beach in Protoras, the location is super, but first of all about the hotel staff. These are wonderful, responsive people focused on the excellent organization of your vacation! I'll tell you why I say this. Checked in on 05/21/24. As always, it’s supposed to be at 2:00 p.m. But I arrived at 12. At the reception desk, Georgiy’s employee not only resolved the issue of quick check-in ahead of time, but also coordinated the issue with the booking company. Sent me a reservation and confirmation, but forgot to book a hotel room. First pole. Second: there was a refrigerator in the room that was not very cold. And housekeeper Zlatka, who was checking the cleaning of the rooms at that moment, instantly decided with the reception the issue of relocation, and to a room of a higher category. And when the air conditioner in this room malfunctioned, the technician Plamen came running 5 minutes later and fixed everything (the door to the balcony was not completely closed and the limit switch of the air conditioner did not work). As a result, in a hotel that was newly opened for the season, where in such a situation there can of course be minor shortcomings, the staff not only instantly solved all my problems, but also with their smiles and cordiality warmed me up in a new place, albeit for a short stay. This is just Super and as the Cypriots say Bomb! I would like to express my deep gratitude to all the employees who helped me. Of course, to the General Manager of the hotel who organized the work like this and to the Management of Tsokkos Group!! Thanks guys!! You are best! Good luck and good mood - Always!!! Sincerely, Sergey, Moscow.

Super hotel, we had a family vacation and everyone liked everything, new and fresh room, the best animator Yulichka conducts aqua aerobics and yoga. The children are delighted with the mini-disco with Yulia. We definitely recommend that you vacation here next time.

On arrival, we discovered that we did not get the room we paid for. We paid for a twin lateral sea view, and we got a double, I have disability and need a bed to myself due to cramps and other issues, in order to avoid disturbing my mrs sleep Hence, we always pay for a twin room, when we arrived we asked to get a change and we where told thr hotel is full. We did ask again the morning. The manager did try to help by putting a single bed in the room? Alongside the double, the room became very cramped. The following day, we did get a change of room, which was a twin room but less of a view, so rather than causing any more grief, we just settled for the twin room with the lesser view. The rooms and furnishings are in dire need of change, the beds are thread bare, and sagging, making for uncomfortable sleep. The food in the restaurant is a disgrace, very little choice, most of the meat dishes have mushrooms in them, I have an intolerance to mushrooms which means the choice for me is extremely limited, and the meats are dry and overcooked, if it wasn't for chips I would have nothing to eat. This hotel is rated as a 4-star hotel. However, it's not worthy of a 2 star, let alone a 4 star. Would I recommend this hotel? The short answer is NO. The only thing which is in the hotels favour is its location, I can't fault the staff, the staff are working with the tools they have and try to keep everyone happy. People are paying good money to stay in hotels like this and are being ripped off with poor quality rooms and very bad food. They deserve better than this hotel

+ Great location, and we had a nice family room which was big and comfy.
- this hotel is more of a 2 * 3* at the most there is nothing 4* about it.
We booked b&b having already had experience with Tsokos hotels. The breakfast was awful, we bearly ate, thank God for boiled eggs and pastry. The hams had a funny smell so we avoided having anything from that section. Also the whole dining area with food looked filthy.
We stayed at Silver sands last year so we knew how it will be, but we choose the hotel for the location, and our room was nice.
The staff is very unmotivated, not very friendly.
Also we stayed at the partial sea view room and it was quite noisy from the bars on the streets and the hotel bar that plays loud music even though no one literally no one sits there. We also had noisy guests above us fighting and shouting half the night ofc the hotel staff didn't do anything about it.
We booked our trip last minute so we didn't have much choice everything was already booked, so we decided to choose this hotel only for it's location, and we're surprised with the room.

I got stuck in Cyprus with an ear infection, coming from 2 other hotels including a 5star hotel I wasn’t expecting much, I was pleasantly surprised, I loved this hotel. The room was big, massive bed, perfect location, lovely sea view. The atmosphere of the restaurant was my favourite, beautiful relaxing music playing, the food was tasty, lovely mixture of food including traditional lamb kleftiko, fresh salads and fruit. The customer service was outstanding, being on my own everyone that worked there was so helpful and friendly. They really went the extra mile to help, they rearranged rooms so I could keep my same room as the insurance were booking 1 night at a time. On the last day they gave me a late checkout and a lovely send off.. I felt well looked after, thank you so much lliada and all the staff for being so lovely, I would definitely recommend this hotel and go back again. Irene

Just back from an enjoyable week at the Iliada, having been moved to this hotel from the Tsokkos Protaras as we were very unhappy with the cleanliness and condition of the accommodation. The Iliada was lovely, our room was bright, spacious and comfortable, the shower room was clean and modern. The food was of good quality and there was a good choice. The pool area was clean and there were plenty of sunbeds. But what really made our stay memorable were the staff. All the staff were polite, helpful and obviously took pride in their roles. A special mention to Jeremie who was on the bar each evening, making some fabulous cocktails! He is an asset to the hotel, so charming and friendly. The hotel still needs some upgrading in areas to meet the standard of a 4* hotel, and once this is done it will be fabulous. One suggestion- we were surprised not to find a mattress protector on the bed which would help with both hygiene and comfort and I think these should be fitted as standard on hotel beds.

This Hotel was extremely good with friendly helpful staff. Rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard. Food was excellent with a wide choice to suit everyone's taste and varied from day to day, breakfasts were also very good. The hotel was situated in a great place with easy access to the beachfront which gave access to miles of lovely walks in either direction. The area was VERY geared to disabled people being very flat and easy to use a disabled scooter as i did. On the last day my Daughter in Law felt unwell and the hotel extended our departure time to give her time to recover, they did not charge for this and we were very appreciative of the wonderful service they gave us. Would highly recommend this Hotel and i hope to visit there again soon.
Anyone giving a negative review i would consider very picky.
