We are still at the hotel and have been here just over a week and these are our findings. We paid for a sea view room, which is gorgeous, clean, updated and we get a perfect sunrise every morning, but this comes with a noisy price - The evening entertainment. All the sea view rooms are in striking distance of the entertainment area / stage. The evening entertainment is terrible and far too loud for how far you are away from the stage. The sound system they use could entertain the O2 arena and is too powerful for this rather small hotel. The only good thing is that it finishes at 2300hrs. This means that if you want to go to sleep before then, you simply can’t. The volume level needs to be seriously looked at, as the guests are only about 20-30m away from the stage. The 2 pools are split into family (kids pool) and adults pool (no under 18’s allowed) and are a little small for when the hotel is busy -Like it is now. This leads me onto the next thing - Reserving sunbeds😫 I woke up the 1st morning, caught the sunrise from the balcony and saw the amount of sun beds reserved at 0550hrs - About quarter of the beds were reserved before 6am. As of the 1st July - The hotel has said that no beds are to be reserved before 0700hrs. Today, the conversation in the pool has been just about this new ruling. It will be carnage on the 1st and more like a sun bed version of supermarket sweep, than a relaxing holiday. Time will tell as to how long this will stay in force for with only 2 pool, staff to enforce it. Food wise, it’s an all inclusive hotel, so the food is a 1 week rotation. Breakfast is always good, lunch is either junk food next to the bar or a cooked lunch in the restaurant. Again, a good selection but check that meat is cooked properly, especially the pork…..There’s a lot of pork. Dinner is the same week turnaround selection and as a whole, has been good with. Only one evening where I reverted to the kids menu. There are salad options at lunch and dinner times with food to suit most tastes. The restaurant staff are polite and attentive with only the odd misery guts, but you get these at every hotel. As is the same with most all inclusive hotels, meal times can and are a bit of a cattle market. The location as a whole is a little quiet with shops, bars and restaurants a 10min walk from the hotel. The main resort area is about a 20min walk or 5mins in a taxi. The hotel doesn’t have a beach but there is access to the sea and good snorkelling on the doorstep via a boat launch ramp. A word of warning though….There has so far been a wedding everyday since we arrived. These weddings mean wedding parties, stags and hens. This can lead to a slightly louder guests from the wedding parties during the day as they are on the beer. The hotel could be more attentive to the other paying guests but the weddings are a money spinner and obviously pay more for the privilege of getting married here. We are coming to the end of our stay here and as a whole have enjoyed our holiday but there are points to look at and improve. It’s a nice hotel, spacious rooms for what you need, decent food and food selection, fantastic weather. The resort has and is still suffering from the events of the pandemic though. Surrounding bars and restaurants are desperate for custom with some shortages of beers and foods. The resort itself was a predominantly Russian part of the island and their absence can certainly be seen. Sadly, this is also having an effect on the local businesses, with empty bars, closed hotels and businesses for sale. 40mims from the airport in a cab, 10mins from resort centre in a cab.

Wow, where do I start? We couldn’t have asked for a better holiday. After reading the reviews we were looking forward to our break, but being there and experiencing it all first hand, honestly we had the best holiday. Throughout this current pandemic the hotel staff were outstanding, the food was absolutely beautiful and the entertainment was so much fun. I treated myself to a spa treatment; it was amazing. If you want to treat yourself, and enjoy treatments, you need to try the spa. From start to finish, morning to evening; there was not one thing we found which was negative. The service was always great, every single member of staff within the hotel was lovely and so welcoming. Depending how long you’re there for, we got to eat in the À la carte restaurant; the food was pretty special. The fillet steak was an absolute dream! The food in the hotel was always incredible, beautiful dishes at lunch, dinner and the choice of the snack bar if you’re peckish. I honestly could go on and on; but it’s the type of hotel you will go to and have the best time. Thank you to all the hotel staff and the entertainments team who made our weeks stay unforgettable. Just a shame we’re now back to reality!

What can I say? This hotel is just perfect. Food is amazing, staff are excellent and the rooms are heaven. We were here for our daughters wedding and Charlotte, the wedding planner made sure everything ran smoothly. Just when I thought it couldn't get better, Stella, the hairdresser in the spa styled my hair so perfectly, I was speechless. I'm so fussy about my hair but I loved it at the wedding. The make up lady did exactly what I asked for and I was over the moon. I'd highly recommend every aspect of this hotel. The night before the wedding, I realised the steamer I'd brought with me was not going to get rid of the creases in my outfit. I panicked and called reception. They very calmly took over, got my dress and by 10 am the next morning, my dress was perfect! We've booked to go again next year!

This is a lovely hotel located in the quite area of Pernera. The hotel has a large reception area and the staff here are friendly and professional at all times, there is a small shop located in this area where you can buy drinks, crisps and snacks. There is also a small jewellers selling ‘high end’ silver and gold items. The hotel grounds are great, there are a number of salt water pools (these are environmentally friendly by the way!). One is adults only, one is a paddling pool for toddlers and babies. There is a poolside bar ( the only bar in the hotel), the staff are very helpful and professional. Being ‘all inclusive’ you have access to local beers and spirits and cocktails, however you can pay for ‘premium’ beers and cocktails which I would recommend. The breakfast is very good, buffet style with a great choice, try the ‘Cypriot’ breakfast corner at least once in your stay! Lunch is also buffet style, with a good choice. The restaurant is large, we found the lower area which overlooks the beach a nicer environment. The two premium restaurants are very good, however don’t forget to make your reservations early as they get booked up early! The hotel is located between two small beaches and they are well worth a swim or paddle. However you can follow the newly built footpath that follows the shoreline in both directions, even if you have mobility issues you can walk to Protaras which is a couple of miles at most and is well worth the walk. I know this is ‘all inclusive’ but please explore the local town as there are some really nice bars and Tavernas in the area. It is worth noting that this is a very quite area, due to the war in Ukraine the Russian owned hotels were all closed which made it even quieter. All in all I would fully recommend this hotel and Cyprus as a whole, a great country with an ancient history and culture, and lovely people!

The hotel and its grounds are lovely. The hotel itself is well laid out inside and out and kept clean by the brilliant cleaning staff who do a good job and seem to constantly be working. We ate in both al a carte restaurants which were lovely, I’d recommend both as food was of a good quality. The main buffet restaurant food was good and a good selection most nights but it was ALWAYS cold. They cook trays in bulk and nothing seems to have heaters underneath to support the batch cooking and from a 4* hotel- this is a minimum requirement so that was a let down. The hotel caters to a lot of weddings, we had only 1 day without one across the week which was lovely but also brings large parties and groups. They do take over a little at evenings or round the pool just due to size. The staff are the hotels best asset with many working every service every day we were there. The bar team and waiters/ waitresses were tireless and hardworking. Special shout out to Maria who was greeting in the main restaurant, she was lovely and Despina who never stopped working or smiling and was always polite. The entertainment team were great, especially Eddie who looked after everyone he met and Dimitri who started a few days into our stay, he was so positive and really tried to get stuck in straight away. The others were also great with the kids. All in all, it’s doubtful we’d return as we were expecting a bit more quality in some areas of the stay but a well needed week away and it was enjoyable. Thanks to the hotel for the anniversary gift too! Very thoughtful.

This hotel is lovely, clean, staff are very good and always smiling. The place is spacious and doesn’t feel busy even when it is. It’s set right by the beautiful sea and is easy to get to shops and bars etc. All inclusive drinks are good and have decent choice. Our room which is 002 is spacious and always cleaned to an extremely high standard. The swim up pool is also worth every penny and has sun near enough all day. We have enjoyed ourselves so much here, my only criticism is the food which is tasty, it’s very repetitive.

Just returned from a 7 night stay Positive points- On arrival at midnight we were greeted by friendly reception staff and they were always helpful throughout our stay The housekeepers were always pleasant and did an excellent job keeping the room clean every day All the staff around the restaurants/ bar were always very attentive / helpful / chatty and always smiling It’s on a lovely footpath that goes all the way to Fig Tree Bay and we walked this most days Negatives:- It’s a shame that there is only 1 bar to get drinks as queues formed most of the time and the hotel would benefit from another bar area away from the pool There was no waiter service around the pool / on the sun beds With weddings on most days whilst we were there on a number of occasions one of the 2 al a carte restaurants was closed to hotel guests which was a shame and limited choice The bedroom walls are paper thin and we were often woken by noise in the corridor outside the room . Heels on floors / doors slamming at all times of night / early morning Finding a sunbed always proved difficult as people were up early (7am) securing all the best ones Whilst the food in the buffet restaurant was tasty it was very similar every day with little variance in choice Overall:- Whilst the weather was beautiful and we enjoyed ourselves I think we will pick somewhere else next time

We spent 2 weeks at Pernera Beach hotel 19th May until 2nd June and had a lovely time. With just a few changes I think this hotel could be made 5 star - more comfortable bar area for evening, waiter service around the pool and grassed area near the beach and porters to take luggage etc. Notwithstanding this, everything was lovely and staff were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble, I can only name a few, Sam who sorted out our bookings for the a la carte restaurants ( it’s a shame you can’t book in the a la carte once a week at each instead of once per star) , we absolutely loved the Asian restaurant and Thalasso was great too. Food was good, there were a couple of times I struggled to find something I liked but on the whole it was good, my husband especially liked their breakfasts. Other staff who stood out are George and Maria in the restaurants. Despo and Andreas in the a la cartes and Vitek and Amelia in the bar, they were exceptional and lovely people. All staff were really lovely, from the reception staff to the cleaners, who all work very hard. We liked the quiet location of the hotel and it’s not far to get into Protaras when you want to, about 10 euros in a taxi. We liked Protaras too and had a lovely meal there at Wan Chai Chinese restaurant. We hired a pedalo with a slide and also booked a private small boat trip to blue lagoon just left from the hotel along the beach promenade at the first water sports you come to. I thought their prices were reasonable and Joanna from there is a lovely young lady. We went into windmills bar not far from the hotel, 5-10 minutes walk, that was nice too with very friendly staff. They do a nice cocktail. There’s also a little supermarket left down the beach promenade and a lovely lady who runs that too. Thank you to all staff at Pernera beach for a lovely holiday, hopefully we’ll be back
