Well unfortunately my turn comes to give a review about this hotel. Unfortunately is not how it looks! The hotel is good, good rooms fresh etc. The main problem that we had was with the food! We stayed for 4 nights all inclusive was supposed to be a special vocation as it should be a proposal but this never happened! The all inclusive food was bad they cooked the same food from the previous day for the night! When we complain of course they try to make us believe that it wasnt like that! They tried to make us feel or be crazy that we try to make things out of our mind! I will not talk about covid measures which the staff never were a face mask they were talking to the customers without a mask! When again we made a complain the manager there try to convince us that is season now we are more relaxed, we are tired! Of course the next day everybody at the restaurant was wearing a face mask but the management team make the staff to believe that we are monsters they were staring us like we trash or nothing! Even Mr…. From the restaurant when he saw us make like ouf ouf ouf and turned off his back! When one day we ate something from the buffet and made us sick the manager of course try to changed our minds that we are 600 people here and everyone is ok except you 2! (The previous day a family left with “food poison “ but of course she came and said that it wasnt a food poison we checked it ) the main comments about the food is from tourist who probably never tried this food or kitchen before so they dont have something to compare it whatever they eat thinks its okay and delicious! If you ask the cypriot people who are now there they will tell that the food is bad it smells yesterday food they cant handle it many of them speaks at the pool. The main example the jacket potatoes from yesterday they cooked it the next day with fresh cream and cheese if course u can taste the yesterday food even the chicken. I dont know who gave them the right to behave us like that but was completely unexpected the staff and the management team to staring us like that they treat us so bad. Just because we are young doesnt mean we dont know our expectations. They make us look like fools crazy and that we have problem with them. Even the last day that we were sick they try to believe us that we never left from the hotel, they wanted to believe we went out and we got sick! The staff at the bar they told us that the food is not good and they never eat from their food as is bad and they know that there is a problem like that for a long time ago!! The good stuff now, not all of them being rude they are some people there that is okay and very polite but the main picture is bad! Imagine to book an all inclusive hotel and everyday eat from kids menu we even tried every day the food 30% was good the rest was repeated! I will not talk about the breakfast the crepes taste like rose water and we asked them why is it so much they said its a cyprus traditional product and also to cut the smell from the eggs but it was so much that changes all the taste the sweets also rose water and of course they come and said that is about how u like sometimes and we like it som we served it. Very disappointed very bad experience we throw our money , we did not had a good time!…
We stayed for 3 nights using the all inclusive option. 2 couples and 2 toddles. We left the hotel for a few hours to spend the night out and regretted it. The experience in the hotel was so amazing that we should have stayed in. Room - clean, tidy and comfy with great view. Would like it to be a bit bigger though. Food - Amazing! All inclusive buffet was simply delicious with many options. Service - All the staff was helpful and polite and made our stay exceptional. Special thanks to Ms. Maria in the restaurant who catered to all our (and our babies) needs, always with a smile! Pool - Great pool and pool bar. Bartenders provide for all day cocktails and beer. Beach - Beautiful clean beach right next to the hotel Gym - Even though its a small gym I could get a good workout done. Would visit again 100%.…
We enjoyed our holiday immensely! I went with my 16 year old daughter. We had a standard room, that had a great view of the beach and sea. The pool was lovely, and we easily got a sunbed. The food was lovely, the drinks were good, not watered down We loved the lemon and banana coolers! You can walk along the coastal boardwalk to Protaras, a lovely walk, lit at night only 30 mins stroll with bars and restaurants on the way. Go to the Dancing Magic Water show, it was great! We got the local bus easily into Ayia Napa. You can buy a day pass for €5 and hop on and off, the buses run quite late in the evening and stop at Protaras.
absolutely the worst experience we ever had on a hotel. the staff was so rude and for no reason, not even a smile they don't know what polite is. the food? was absolutely disaster for all inclusive. i can understand you cant throw the yesterday or the lunch food, but at least be more professional on that. even the staff admire that they know that the food is from yesterday or from lunch time. yes many options but we ended up eating from kids menu. not all of the waiters being rude but 80% of them they are so rude even they do sounds when u pass by next to them . was absolutely disaster, the room was ok big enough. the other thing that we saw is if you are not a Cypriot the behave is so different. I'm visiting Cyprus for many years now i even have a house and i know Greek not so good but i can understand (they even talk about me 1-2 tables next of mine about me and my wife. unfortunately they ruined our vocations never come back again. not good food, not friendly, RUDE, even the housekeepers, we apologize for going to the bar while she was moping and she said in Greek oh god oh god they don't respect anything this is what they do on their houses. good job pernera beach hotel for the absolutely perfect behave you allowed to your staff.…
Many thanks Pernera Beach Hotel again for a fantastic holiday. Hotel is amazing, we were in room 386 main building and the sea view was amazing, room as always was lovely and spotless, thanks for also leaving a gift in the room for my sisters Birthday. Can't fault the food or drinks at this hotel, always something lovely to eat, and the cocktail menu is fab. As usual I will again come back this hotel, would definitely recommend!!
Myself and my partner visited this hotel for 10 nights in July and can honestly say it is such a beautiful hotel with amazing views. Most of the staff are lovely and happy to help, especially Maria and George from the restaurant! Food: Breakfast was amazing, there was always a choice of full English options, a fresh fruit buffet, a pancake and omelette counter and cereals! Lunchtime restaurant - This was pretty average and did become quite repetitive and boring. Dinner time - The buffet was lovely and there was often many options including a counter where you can choose different meats which were delicious. Although some nights it did feel quite repetitive so I would definitely consider eating out some nights or booking the 2 al a carte restraints to split it up! Snack bar - Very dry, cheap and basic food. Only really good for the kids The Thalassa Restaurant- Disappointing but lovely service The Asian Restaurant - Amazing!!!! Lovely food, amazing service - would of paid to go again it was so good. The Rooms: We had paid extra for a sea view room and can honestly say it was so worth the money as if you have a room facing the front of the hotel your likely going to be looking at an abandoned hotel just opposite! The rooms were cleaned everyday exceptionally and the maids always made up cute animals with the towels and left welcome messages. They are spacious and the air con is great. The only thing to be improved in the room is the hairdryer as they are awkward to use by being attached in the drawer. Sunbeds: For us this is what spoilt the hotel as there is clearly not enough sunbeds for the size of the hotel. There are only a few round the pool and the rest on the grass so people are getting up at 7am to reserve beds which just spoils it as you want to be able to relax! It also seems unfair that certain rooms have reserved beds around the pool when most days they were not used. Entertainment: The entertainment is rubbish - not suitable for all and would say it is especially not suitable for young couples. Very boring There is barely any entertainment activities for adults to get involved in during the day neither. Very poor Location: The hotel has a lovely little beach just a 2 minute walk next to it which does a variety of water sports but we found that the location was pretty poor and was spending €20 minimum a day to Protarus centre to go to the more lively bars and watch some fun entertainment! Finally another few notes to add is that the hotel needs to sort out there power cut issues as this often awoke us with all the lights coming on at ridiculous times in the morning. I believe that staff should be allowed to accept tips given to them personally rather than it being put in a jar as there were clearly certain staff who were more happy to do their job than others! Overall, we had a lovely stay but had we not been so active during our holiday it may have been very boring as not much goes on there and the location isn’t great. Also worth mentioning that the reception staff were outstanding! All of them were brilliant, especially the two gentleman on there.…
What can I say !! This hotel is absolutely fantastic . We have been coming to Cyprus for over 20 years , this is our first stay in house here . Iam still inpressed of Cyprus, the environment and the hotel. The hotel is close to a public beach. In the night it is very quiet and you dont hear anything from the bars, from other hotels or clubs. It is very peaceful! In the early morning you can go out for a walk along the beach, doing yoga or just enjoy the nature. The service at breakfast/Lunch and Dinner was amazing. The hotel could provide my kids glutenfree and plantbased products! The kids had an amazing program: kids Pool, kids club and mini disco. I am very thankful for Henka, kids animation. My kids loved her very much and still missing her:) the kids club was amazing - kids could play in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Henka is a very lovely and warm person- smiling all the time and a big heart for kids!!! Also Max, responsible for the sport courses and for the mini disco, was amazing! Good mood, great animation at aqua gym and very funny to see him with the kids at the mini disco. Henka and Max are the heart of the Animation. Without them it was very boring- dont lose them:) Sure we will come back! Deepa…
My family and I spent a week at the hotel and we had a fantastic time, the staff were friendly, dedicated and helpful, the evening entertainment and the pools were superb and the food was great too. It’s really close to the beach so ideal if you want to do some snorkelling and sea swimming. Definitely recommend upgrading to the suites to get your own little pool and veranda to chill on. Thank so much for a great family holiday to all at the hotel xx.
Attended for my step sons wedding. It was an amazing and magical day - wonderful staff and stunning location. Would definitely recommend. Can’t really fault the hotel - staff very efficient but not at all intrusive. The pools were lovely and it was nice to have an adult pool to escape the kids for a bit! Me and my husband don’t usually do all inclusive - the food was fine, but not really my cup of tea. As a veggie it was a bit ‘samey’ and don’t really enjoy the experience. But no fault of the hotel I suppose. The room was nice but would have liked the air con to be a be cooler as the weather is so hot. Overall if you’re into all inclusive I think you’ll love this hotel.
