This hotel definitely needs to be more than a 3*!!! We arrived as part of a small party for a wedding at the hotel. From arrival the hotel staff made you feel like part of the family! The rooms are beautiful - we had a side sea view room which had a great view! The othera suite with swim up pool - the only negative of the whole holiday is that these pools should really be adults only! People were trying to relax in the swim up pool with kids running round and diving into the pool. The wedding day was absolutely perfect, due to COVID there was only 4 of us in total - the wedding team were great, Suzanne and Sheena from TUI was lovely and Stella in the spa was great with our hair and makeup! The wedding went perfectly and staff in the Thalassa restaurant were brilliant for the wedding breakfast, especially George - so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, we had the whole restaurant to ourselves, the food was unbelievable - it was simply perfect!! The all inclusive restaurant was always outstanding - food choice for everyone and never got bored of the food. I have a severe nut allergy and every day Maria the head waitress would greet me and serve me a delicious, beautifully presented dessert every lunch and dinner. She always went above and beyond to ensure I was catered for. Having been to many different hotels around the world I am used to avoiding any desserts due to my allergy so this was a huge thumbs up from me - maybe not the waistline!!!! George at breakfast was also great and very helpful! The bar staff both in the day and night again were all really lovely and made us feel at home every day. Location is great, close enough to walk into Protaras but also far enough away for some peace and relaxation on the gorgeous beach next to the hotel or the pool. When you arrive at the hotel you go to the lifeguard who gives you a sun bed for the duration of your stay which is great and means people aren’t reserving beds at 5am!!! Overall an amazing holiday from start to finish, would recommend 100%!!! Special thanks to Maria & George, you really did make our holiday that extra special! ❤️ Aimee, Nathan, Andrew and Rhonda - room 303 and 004

Superior twin room with sea view and balcony. Very comfortable and well maintained. We had a couple of little snags when we arrived, but reported them to reception who arranged them to be fixed promptly. Bed is seriously comfortable and rooms were cleaned daily. All staff were very, very good, efficient and although friendly weren’t imposing. Whether cleaners, reception staff or restaurant staff, they always stopped for a smile and a “hello” There were activities that you could get involved with but were easy to tune out from if you preferred to snooze on your sunbed. There is entertainment in the bar area in the evenings with music that can be heard in all rooms, but this goes silent at 23:00 promptly. Towels were available from the spa for use on the sunbeds which are around the pool but also spread across a quiet lawned area that overlooks the sea which you can walk to in a couple of mins. A gentleman on his sunbed near us started to play his music through a speaker but was politely asked to turn it down, the music from the bar is gentle and maintains a quiet relaxed atmosphere. Really close to the sea, there’s a series of small beaches along the coast that you easily walk along, or you can even swim along. Less than 10 mins walk from a handy bus route that will take you into Protaris Town (6min), Konnos Beach (15 mins) or even Ayia Napa for a fixed €1.50 or €2.50 at night. Buffet food was very varied, good veggie options. Not fine dining but tasty and enjoyable. We both agreed we’d definitely return to the Pernera Beach Hotel.

I don't know where to begin.... Truly the best hotel we have ever stayed in. I have visited Cyprus around ten times now starting when i was 18 and this is my favorite hotel by far. Perfect for families with children of any age. We booked for our wedding day to be here in Sept 2019 for 2020, un be known to us there was going to be a global pandemic. The hotel were amazing from the very beginning, i phoned them several times from the UK with concerns all of which the staff there were all very happy to help me with. Hit and miss as to whether we were gong to make it or not but we did and it completely exceeded all of my expectations. On arrival to the hotel we were greeted by Stavros, all welcomed by our names which my children absolutely adored.. What a gentleman he is. Gave our welcome that little personal touch. We arrived at 3am, we were supplied with water and shown where we could get more. Our luggage was taken up to our room for us, no better greeting truly felt welcomed. On arrival our masks were able to come off which was lovely after the slightly more difficult travel process than normal, only needed to wear them in taxi's, public transport and in shops. (No different than in the UK) Our first day there, we met Suzanne our wonderful wedding coordinator. (A truly amazing inspirational lady i will remember for the rest of my life) I took most of the wedding decorations with me, i had a rough idea in my head of what i imagined it to look like and she went above and beyond to make this more of a reality than i realized was possible. There was nothing that i threw at her, or was uncertain of that she didn't jump straight into to create our magical day come true. (Even taking me to the hospital too get my cut foot sorted.) After the first meeting with Suzanne, my partner and i began our 2 week holiday with our 18 guests (friends and family) and didn't have a worry in the world. She took my dress and the flower girls and stored them for us so they weren't seen by the groom. The day ran so smoothly, her presence was there throughout the whole day, guiding anyone in any area needed. My dress & flowers were delivered to the room, food was brought to us while we were getting ready & drinks, flowers were absolutely stunning. I had great concerns of my youngest flower girl running in the other direction but she guided her down the aisle without anyone even knowing she was there. Wedding day was more than we could have ever imagined. (The photographer was amazing) i am in love with our photos. The shots he got with the view pernera beach hotel has are outstanding. We hired the Thalassa venue for our evening reception which i would highly recommend to anyone, very personal, private and a view that completely blows your mind. The service was remarkable throughout the whole two weeks we were there. Food was fantastic, such a wide choice. Drinks were really good, Pool bar food was outstanding... Never empty always happy to serve you with a smile and a very good wide range from toasties to bruchetta's, wraps, fruit, chips, salad. Fantastic. Ice cream available day and night from the main bar. House keeping were amazing, they soon realised we weren't early risers... we were never disturbed or made to feel like we needed to clear out of the room they came back later working around us.. The effort put in to making the rooms clean and tide every day was outstanding.. (displays with my children's teddies some days) Even left us multiple extra towels on the day of the wedding knowing we had extra guests to get ready. So so friendly, we were greeted every morning happily. We went diving with turtles whilst there on an excursion through the hotel, my kids loved it and we saw 5 turtles. One of the most amazing experiences i have ever had. The cleanliness within the hotel was very impressive during our whole stay. everything was kept pristine indoors and outdoors. Fresh beautiful flowers everyday within reception. Reception staff, could not fault any of them. Maria was very polite & friendly, she asked how we were everyday, all staff made such an effort with our children it was wonderful. They would call us a taxi whenever needed. The thalassa, WOW......... What an experience. Best food i have ever had. Three course meal with champagne absolutely outstanding.... Service from the staff was absolutely out of this world. Whilst the restaurant had many families and couples in there, we were made to feel as if we were the only ones there. Nothing was to much for them. Sam.... The Restaurant manager, one in a million. Friendliest, kindest man i have ever met. Made our wedding night a dream come true. George also was amazing. Pool was always kept tidy. Not a leaf in sight, Regular glass (plastic) collections. Lifeguards were amazing. Mark was incredible, on our day of arrival he reserved us our choice of sunbeds for the whole stay & thought about our other guest that would be coming and allocated them ones near us too. Very friendly, helpful man. Our room was stunning. We were lucky enough to be upgraded upon arrival to a grand family suite with a sea view and a large balcony. Beautiful. The view is second to none. Games room for the children (& adults) which was perfect. Kids club for 2 hours every afternoon was fantastic, good choice of activities available everyday, and enables the grown us to have a few hours chill time. Darts, Table tennis, dance aerobics in the pool. Kids disco, Bingo, Karaoke, Parrot shows, Tribute acts, Mike's fire show. Something different every night, was amazing. Henrieta & Mike ( Hotel entertainers) You guys were brilliant. Set an amazing, happy, safe, friendly atmosphere every day and night. You made our stay very fun. This hotel is perfect for Couples, Individual travelers or families with children of any age. Bar staff are all unbelievable, super friendly, amazing with the children day and night. Took note of peoples drinks very quickly and rarely did we have to ask for a drink they walked around ensuring people were happy and topped up. Petruss was outstanding, her service was remarkable, always smiling, happy and made sure guests were happy. The Amelia Spa was outstanding, 5 of us had our hair and make up done with Stella for the big day which i was nervous about and it was so beautiful. Wonderful pedicure and a wonderful experience of a couples massage that we thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we are already looking at booking for our 1st wedding anniversary next year. We will be back without a doubt and we hope to see you all again.

It is a three star hotel and that was definitely reflected during our stay. The positives: - staff are very friendly - food is good (except bar snacks which were greasy and not nice) - great location The negatives: - the pool was freezing and we couldn’t swim in it. The reason was given was that it’s October but other hotel pools in Protaras were not so cold at the same time of year. - very small drinks with very small measures. The cocktails were watered down to the point that it was unpleasant. - the bar food was not nice at all, greasy and tasted awful Overall, the hotel is OK but I would not book again. There are better hotels that you can get at a better rate.

Upon arrival the greeting from stavros was second to none! A lovely man with great enthusiasm instantly eased us into the holiday mode after a rather stressful flight from the UK (covid). Our first room was modern and excellently designed with every need in mind. However, we decided to treat ourselves and upgrade to a superior sea view.... oh my word! What a view! Service throughout our stay was impeccable, within the restaurant all needs were met with a variety of food alternated every meal time. Within the pool bar, drinks were never left empty! Taki is an excellent waiter and ensured our glass was never empty, what more could you ask for! Thank you so much to all for an excellent stay!
