Nestled in a prime central location, the Vrissiana Beach Hotel garners acclaim for its proximity to the beach and local attractions. While some guests consider the value debatable, many appreciate the hotel's clean and well-appointed rooms. The amenities, including diverse dining options and beach access, satisfy most, though a few find certain aspects lackluster. The cleanliness is consistently praised, with a nod to the attentive housekeeping staff. While service is generally celebrated for its friendliness, instances of front desk rudeness have been noted. The atmosphere offers a dichotomy, mixing modern charm with areas awaiting rejuvenation.

We have just returned from a 7 night stay in this hotel. We were moved here by Jet 2 as our original hotel booking at the Tsokkos Beach Hotel was cancelled due to the hotel being closed for the season.

We were pleasantly surprised at this hotel, the rooms were spacious, bathroom was good. The hotel location could not have been better, bang on the beach and also bang in the resort centre. We were all inclusive, the food and drinks were great and the food was always fresh. The safety deposit box was free of charge but they had a small charge for wifi in the room which we didn’t use anyway. Rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels each day. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was very COVID compliant with several sanitising stations, disposable gloves so that you can self serve at the food stations and 2 metre distance signs dotted around. Protaras itself is very lively but was probably a lot quieter than usual due to the pandemic. I believe this has been the hottest summer for 26 years according to the locals in the bars and restaurants.

The pool area was very nice with plenty of sunbeds which included sunbeds on the grass area which was yards from the beach. We often came down to the pool around 11am and found it easy to get 2 sunbeds. I believe the pool area opens at 6am.

We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again. Thanks very much.

Right on the beach and in the middle of the main strip, we were never far from whatever we required.
I noticed a lot of people staying here all inclusive, which I think would be a bad idea - there are a lot of better places to eat and drink a stones throw away, but what we did get included was decent enough. The food was all buffet style and although not top quality, was a cheap option and easy to fill up on.
The pool area was nice and the rest of the hotel was clean and well presented.
We lucked out by getting a room at the end with a hug balcony that got sun pretty much all day. The view was of the town, and there was a bar playing music very loud until the early hours, which kept us awake a bit, but you got used to it.
All the rooms had UK plug sockets which was very useful. The mirror on the ceiling was off putting.
Not sure if i'd specifically search this out to stay again, but wouldn't be disappointed if I did.

We spent 10 blissful days in Vrissiana Beach hotel and every aspect was as we wanted. We were welcomed by a friendly male receptionist even though we were 2 hrs late. The room was bright, spacious, with a comfortable super king size bed.

The room was cleaned and bed linen changed as often as we wanted.
Restaurant staff were very friendly but professional and attentive. They couldn't do

more for us. The senior staff such as Aris, Pedros and Sofia were super efficient, while doing their work, guiding and supervising the junior/ new staff, having eyes all over the dining room. The used crockery and cutlery was always removed

from the table immediately so you have space for as many servings as you wished from the buffet. (We were all inclusive which we highly recommend)
As for the meals, there was a good choice of
dishes, hot food, piping hot and cold food as it should be. There was a range of salads at every meal and plenty of alcohol too.
The hotel is right on the white sandy beach, not requiring to hire beach lounges or sun shades.
The beach had some rocky patches but there was enough clear water to swim in and felt safe with life guard monitoring.
The pool bar kept us lubricated and hydrated while lounging in the shade until the evening when the upstairs bar overlooking the beautiful blue sea took over the supply of beverages.
The strip along had numerous bars, pubs, clubs and restaurants mingled with all kinds of shops cheap and expensive. We thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment on the door step in these venues at only the price of drink you needed.
Most entertainment went on till midnight /1am
With only 15 minute walk back to the hotel.
It felt very safe with lot of people of all ages, along the strip.
We found alcohol and food cheaper than here at home.
Our return flight had been delayed which meant that we would have had to wait around after checking out at 12 noon until 7.30 pm when we would've picked up.
The hotel offered us to use one of the rooms to have a shower and get changed prior to leaving as well as having meals and drinks until we left.

We definitely will be returning to Vrissiana Beach hotel.
We have already recommended it to friends and family.

We recommend that hotel keep some local maps and information leaflets in the foyer. We were given some only when we asked at the reception.

As a family which prefers sightseeing and going around town instead of laying down on the pool area and beach all day, our stay in this hotel was perfect. There is a great view to the sea from the rooms and balconies. It is located near the main road and is close to all main areas of interest. The service was great as everyday when we returned from morning stroll the room was cleaned and organized. The food tasted good with a nice touch of dinner being focused daily on different beverages from all around the world. The staff was also very active in the restaurant and was providing drinks every time we wanted and also was making sure to check with us that everything tastes good and if we need anything more. Aris is just one of the multiple amazing people that made the restaurant atmosphere feel great. With current hard times, the sanitary restrictions were followed by everyone and everything required for our safety was accessible not only in restaurant but in the main desk too.

Decided on this holiday at the last minute after our other destination was cancelled due to COVID-19. We were not disappointed. The hotel was beautiful and clean and all staff stuck rigidly to the safety precautions by wearing masks and hand gel was readily available all around hotel and pool area. The rooms were large, clean and bright and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was positioned well for shops, bars and restaurants nearby and the beach is literally on the doorstep. The pool area was magnificent, plenty luxurious beds around the pool which was crystal clear and warm. Hotel restaurant food was good, not a huge choice but enough to cater for everyone’s taste. Overall a lovely place to stay and we would definitely return, hopefully once everything is back to normal after the pandemic is all over as the resort was quiet so we didn’t experience the full potential.

Location of the hotel is brilliant. It is situated right at the wonderful beach with crystal clear water. Famous Fig tree bay is in walking distance (15 min by walking).
Hotel is situated near the main road in Protaras full of restaurants, shops and bars.
Hotel is clean, but some rooms needs refurbishment- especially bathrooms. The cleaning service needs some improvement as well. We noticed few times that sink and the are around hasn't been cleaned. The only and main negative of the hotel is the Bliss Bar, situated right behind the Hotel. We were dissrupted by loud music from the bar every night playing until 3 a.m. ! Food at the hotel restaurant was good, tasted well, but we were expecting some more seafood and traditional cypriotic/greek food . Service at the hotel was excellent. We really enjoyed the restaurant staff and waiters who work there. We would like to say big thanks especially to Michalis, who always welcomed us with a big smile and was providing a great customer service. Another big thanks belongs to Aris, who was an amazing host. His warm and kind personality and friendly attitude made our stay more enjoyable. Both are very hard working and provided excelent customer service. The rest of the waiters in the restaurant and in the bars were also really nice and funny. The reception staff was also helpful and very nice. Except the small details mentioned above, which could be improved and we would really recommend this Hotel and we wish to come back in the future!

We booked this hotel because of its location mainly Right on the golden sandy beach and just 50 metres from the main strip in the other direction where bars, restaurants, shops galore can be found. Only to be greeted by friendly staff including Savvoulla the manager, Pavlos, Nefeli, Andri, Christina and another lady whose name I cannot remember and they would all go out of their way to accommodate your every need.

We never had problems getting a sunbed around the pool unlike some seem to suggest and although this is one of the oldest hotels on the strip it was always kept spotless, thanks to the cleaning staff who worked long hours. Most days we would spend around the pool relaxing and having a drink from the pool bar where you find Top man Alex serving. or taking a dip in the Beautiful warm sea. The other manager Solomon would visit the pool several times daily while on his rounds checking all was well with the hotel.

We always had a great choice of food in the restaurant and never went hungry, special thanks to the chef Costas who cooks some lovely beef and also to the Best restaurant manager Yiannis and all the staff including Aris, Julie, Petros and Rumen.

All in all thanks to those named above and all the other staff we had a great relaxing holiday and will be returning soon

Me and my wife had an absolutely amazing time at the Vrissiana. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. The staff could not do enough for us, in particular Aris who is a proper gentleman, nothing has been too much trouble for him and he has shown us nothing but kindness and generosity throughout our stay. Our wedding day was perfect in every way. The vrissiana is in a perfect beach front location, rooms are cleaned regularly, and food was great, lots of choice for everyone. Lots of choice for sunbeds. Felt very safe with covid safety, lots of hand gel around the hotel and gloves used in the restaurant. We can’t wait to come back to celebrate our anniversary.

We have just come back from a two night stay at this hotel to celebrate a friend's birthday. I have to say I'm disappointed at the recent reviews posted as this does not represent in any way our experience. We were greeted by Savoulla and Andri at reception and they could not have been more welcoming and accommodated our pre-arrival request. We also were checked into our rooms by lunchtime which was wonderful. The reception staff are a credit to this hotel and are some of the best we have encountered in Cyprus. Our rooms were very spacious, 2 single beds which were extremely comfortable. Yes the rooms are a little tired and dated but spotlessly clean and despite only being there for two nights our toiletries were fully replenished and we had fresh towels every day despite hanging them up to be reused. In fact our cleaner was super friendly and very helpful to us when we had a problem with our room key.

The guys at the pool bar were very efficient at their job and again, very friendly and accommodating and despite our cocktails containing local spirits, we certainly didn't feel we were being short changed. The AI list was as expected but met all our needs. I have to say the AI wine was definitely not to our taste and we tried both red, white and sparkling and they were all poor quality sadly, but there was plenty of other drinks to choose from.

The food in the restaurant was as to be expected in a buffet style hotel restaurant but on the day of my friend's birthday we ate at the Mediterranean restaurant at the hotel next door for lunch (same hotel group and included in our package) and the views there are superb and we were very well looked after. Savoulla had been asked to source a birthday cake to be delivered to this restaurant and it was absolutely fabulous, personalised and of course delivered with a round of 'Happy Birthday' and they provided this free of charge!

I would also like to thoroughly recommend Boris the masseur from the spa. I had one of the best massages I have ever had outside by the beach - incredible value and a true professional.

The location of the hotel really couldn't be better if you want to be close to Fig Tree Bay. Only slight problem is the hotel doesn't have a car park so we were competing for a space outside with other drivers who just wanted to access the beach.

All in all we had a great stay and I would recommend without hesitation.

Lovely hotel well located on the beachfront in the middle of Protaras.

The rooms are clean, if a bit dated. We were disappointed that all rooms appeared to have 2 single beds instead of doubles, but that wasn’t an issue. The dining room staff were attentive and polite, the food is what I would describe as mediocre, I would have expected more, all the food was left in warmers and a fresh cooking station or two wouldn’t have gone a miss and in my opinion would have lifted the dining experience tenfold.

The outside pool area was well located, although I don’t think a ash stay was emptied all season. My biggest problem with the Hotel was the attitude of the pool and pool bar staff. We were half board, I tend not to drink alcohol during the day, preferring water and the occasional soft drink during the day. When I asked for a glass of iced water I was told at that because I wasn’t full board I couldn’t have a glass of water and had to buy a bottle. I was astounded by this attitude so for the rest of the week I punched water outside and to my own water down to the pool. My second issue with the pool area is the fact by the time you get there at 9:30-10:00 nearly all the sun beds are strewn with towels and remain unoccupied for several hours, when I mentioned this I was told the beds had been reserved and I needed to come down earlier if I wanted one. I have never heard anything so ridiculous in my life. Most hotels I have stayed in remove towels if the beds are left unoccupied for a long period of time!

I won’t be staying here again!!

Can’t say I had a problem although saying that I arrived very late so while the room I requested was being made ready they put me in a stop over room, this room was at the back of the hotel nest all the bars, you could really hear the loud music from one of the bars, might of been called Bells or similar, I ended up in a more quiet room near the front with a side sea view, much quieter I was in a room between the numbers 501-505
